  1. ^lol. you do have a way with words.. *Ibtisam;916915 wrote: Some members on this forum have made a habit of posting pictures of young women- actively search them out to post them just for their own insults and twisted pleasure. That is a problem. That's the issue here and many other web spaces that are used by young Somali men to bash on Somali women. Just look at the second picture in Obas original post, there's no need for it to be protected from the public eye as it's a completely innocent image of sisters sitting for an exam -- yet, he used to infer that Somali women today are jilbab wearing "hoes".. (and he did use the word *** before my first respose) and has edited it .... oba hiloowlow;916475 wrote: sxb thats not my point my point was iyago miniskirts xidhnaayen bey sharaf lahaayeen it was odd to see a 'ciyaal suuq' somali lady waagaas laakin dee maanta iyago jilbaabkii xidhan oo hadana asturan bey hadanaa waxkasta xun sameeyaan. underdog Thanks on behalf of our young sisters. It takes a real man to acknowledge and rectify a mistake.
  2. Underdog, be honest would you have posted I those were your relatives knowing that they would be objectified an subjected to ridicule?
  3. How predictably boring @ Mrs. Sarkozy [Layzie]. Aaliyah, you're right, they are revealing but you can 'halaalify' them which is what many sisters do.
  4. They allow their princesses to drive in certain parts of Riyadh and expat women to drive in compounds. So the powers that be seem a lttle confused about their values. If it is true that the is a nation wide lift on the ban --- then it's a good start, even with the silly 35+ age requirement which does nothing for most of the working women and those with children in school... but it's a start.
  5. There seems to be a contradiction in that statement as Islam is concerned with the perfection of good character, so a heart can not be evil and pious at the same time- unless there is some jahal or hypocrisy involved. This is not to say that there will ever be a perfect servant of Allah, as this world is not created for absolute perfection, there for no one is absolutely good or absolutely bad; most people struggle to reach the correct balance with the truly pious usually leaning towards good righteous deeds but will still make the occasional mistake due to our human weaknesses and Allah is always Most forgiving most merciful, Alhamdulilah.
  6. Is this for real? Did they issue a decree?
  7. Allah maxuu research soo dhameeyay, hilarious.
  8. Che, he can't help it, as my friend says "dadka qaarkood edabta iyo asluubta maalinti la qeybinayay maysan joogin" Juxa. I'm done. Good night!
  9. You chose to dedicate yet another thread on the dress and conduct of my kind, you daft troll. Adigu meesha nooga bax and perhaps use some of your 'precious time' to acquire some of the xishood and decency you preach about.
  10. oba hiloowlow;916473 wrote: who said i was worried just made a point................ that's not exactly a thesis point Mr. Maybe you should go back to drooling over stolen pictures of half naked teenage girls instead of making a silly noise over hijabi sisters sitting for their exams.
  11. ^aad iyo aad ayaa u edeb daran tahay and you need not worry yourself about how women dress.. then, now or in the future. We are prefectly capable of choosing our own clothes.. hoes or not!
  12. I don't understand the logic behind this change and what it is supposed fix? Caano_Geel;915815 wrote: this is funny wallee when a burcaawi from burco say ''waar maxamuudow orodoo ninkaa raacoo nootaayadii ina ina muuse dhag-jar, kasoo saxeex war-qada kala goynta labada baloodh ee cadaynta sar-faynka dhulka'' Anoo reer Burco ah baan ku fahmin; bal ku soo celi. LoL.
  13. That's a really pathetic way to spend your last days on earth, SubhanAllah, may Allah grant us a decent ending. I hope this Al Saud filth meets the same humiliation he has subjected on another.
  14. It's unfortunate but not at all surprising!!! Laila Ali, here states that her article in Al Jazeera was not connected to these two people. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2013/feb/05/jailing-somali-women-rape-affront-justice
  15. I feel like making this today: Check out her other vids. My LO and I are so hooked on her recipes..

  18. I guess the dude who wrote the article wasn't content with the persistent marginalisation and insults that are directed at these Somali, Muslim tribes, he goes further by calling them jews; jews who used to attack the 'hosts' in the past. Qoraalkan wuxuu cadaynayaa in uu saqajaankii soo batay, runtii.
  19. You haven't been paying attention, they've all tahriibed to Djabouti.
