  2. mr. caano enlightenment carries a darkening ignorance on da back end after all. Ahh, there is nothing i love more than witless prophesies, V-V, your bought up one of my favourite subject, let it be know when u lack the knowledge on the fundamentals of tawhiid u end up like mr. caano. Now come on saaxiib, put those nails away, I'm certain the good people of SOL could never fall that low. Lesbians loathe men with passion Should i watch my back, why wasn't i told before? could they of harmed already? No my safety aside, I see we're fast recruiting warriors for the moral salvation front, i must of missed the sign up posters.
  3. i'm afraid we are deviating from the subject just a tad here, sorry runaway^virgin Jumatatu, saaxiib, dont think i'm being hasty if i try not to take advice on tollerance and mutual respect from you in between you cutting them up, feeding them to the hyenas and reviving our lost cultural values. No our principles aren't for sale, nor are they there to be taken lightly or used to justify hatred and malice towards any of gods creatures. Inteligence is adhering to your values and believes, and in respecting that of others which will gain you mutual respect. Please tell me how you wrote that without a hint of irony But by undermining your tenets in order to accomodate other believes ummm so it doesnt happen in our world, it got imported with coca cola and mc'd's... and this bull on being progressive ... where? A world in which its seen as progressive to respect another individuals privacy and rights to a peacful life would indeed be very sad.
  4. mr. caano's progressive mind officialy starts of the much belated somalian enlightenment I didnt realise you held me in such high esteem! na imean . now before we go shine our boots for that azz whooping lets hear some original argument, peeps
  5. Man i cant believe the homophobia in here, well infact i can but whats going on with you all?!? LIVE AND LET LIVE, who are to judge, who give you the moral authority to question the life of another being when they're not inflicting harm on you. What kinda response is get out before they get you?! I think you would of been more sympathetic if the topic was 'my friend just told me their a serial killer'. The hypocrisy just astounds me. For those of you in the west have you stopped to consider the tolerance that gives you a foreigner the ceyr? For the middle east crew, they don't even give you that and your lucky if they ain't tryin to deport you For the haters here's a little trick that may help you to get by in life, its called thinking! .. but then again you need more than 3 brain cells functioning at once
  6. come on girl, you got on with her before and you'll probably do so again, it aint like she's gonna grow horns or sumthing-- people are people, leave the judging to allah
  7. WHAT you skinnies are allowed to vote

  14. lol Baashi true, as NGONGE said, tan taajir baad ku noqon kartaa! And the pessimist in me (the dominant one in schizophrenic arsenal of personalities) agrees. And admitidly i am venting having read yet another cheap excuse for mass oppression -- (I've just got back from Berlin and damn!! I think all those museums have have had an effect) -- NGONGE with regard to 'everyone' i meant those unable to escape, its sick to think qaxooti are the lucky ones. While cleansing the world of humanity will more than likely result in solving many of the planets problems - and maybe we can have a new dominant species featuring free-lovin' vegan pacifist dolphins that are into their recycling. I think that my point was that when i remembered where we're from i felt frustrated and angry at my inability and the effectiveness (or lack of) of our society.
  15. OK people, we can debate and argue our intellectual virility our good will and humanity, but in reality we've lost the battle. I'm heart broken, no thats a lie, I'm angry, i want my eyes to glow red, horns to pop out of the top of my head and start charging like a mad elephant stamping my feet and leaving nothing behind me. I can probably say this because i lead a nice sheltered life - the good life; I have the EU covering my back, little to fear, much to speculate about and absolutely no power to accomplish anything that'll make a real and lasting difference today. So exactly what use are any of us tomorrow if everybody is being wiped out today? Nuruddin Farah put us as 'a nation of narratives held to ransom' but rather, we are a nation of narrators held to ransom. Why am i saying this? Read below for what can only be Somali madness The only free hospital in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, has closed after medical workers went on strike because of threats from gunmen. Hundreds of women and sick children gathered outside the SOS Hospital, pleading for medical attention. Many were shrieking with pain. The patients inside were evacuated. The gunmen were sent to the hospital three weeks ago by the family of a woman whose womb was removed during a life-saving operation. Somalia has had no central government since 1991, with rival warlords fighting for control. Several women were sobbing because all the other clinics in Mogadishu are private, and prohibitively expensive for all but the rich. Some 20 armed men have been patrolling the wards since the end of last month, preventing medical staff from performing operations and tending to the sick. The hospital workers say that they will carry on with their strike until the militiamen are withdrawn from the building. But the woman's family are insisting that the militiamen will continue to occupy the hospital until they are compensated for the removal of her womb. The family is demanding 50 camels, which is the traditional Somali compensation offered for the death of a woman. The woman's family say she is as good as dead because she can no longer bear children. However, Bashir Sheikh, the doctor who removed her uterus, says that he had to do so in order to save her life, as she was carrying a dead baby. "I was waiting to be thanked", he said, "but, instead, I am receiving death threats". Mogadishu's traditional elders have been trying to mediate between the woman's family and the hospital, but have made no progress. Religious leaders, women's organisations and ordinary citizens have also been calling on the family to withdraw their militiamen from the hospital. bbc online ---------------
  16. Conspiracy, i havent used fedora, but essentiallay all *nx distributitions are the same except in features such as system configuration. The kenel, the progs, the window manger all act the same. Difference is that flashy contributions such fedora/redhat, suse etc provide configuration editors much like the windows control panel to make it easier (or some say hide) the system details - although these are genarally limited to hardware and a few specific progs - and most of this can be done just with gnome/kde control panel anyway. Debian and gentoo are slighly more hardcore but the debian package manager and portage (respectively) which give you more overall system control and customisation capability (i.e. whats installed how/when its updated, dependencies etc... look at the portage 'emerge' command for exmpl) and you also learn were things are and what they do. For he ultimate hardcore try slackware
  17. cRaZy b*!*!*!, but sounds interesting, what did you guys and gals think of the online tracks?
  18. Conspiracy, have you looked at gentoo , I've been using it for about a year now (was on suse, mandrake, redhat and debian before) and by far it has been the one i've stuck with the most.
