Originally posted by Castro: quote:Originally posted by WaTerLily: What most of you seem to be missing, the Muslim majority of you that is, is that this woman is an enemy of Islam and an enemy of God. If you are a true believer you would not even be making up excuses for her. The simple fact is, true believers hate those who are against their Lord and are always ready to defend their faith. Now it's almost a problem for you to even say she deserves what she gets or that she is wrong. Nobody is talking of killing her here but even condemning her is suddenly hard. I'm tired of apologetic Muslims and those believers who are always on the verge of doubt. 'Allah will defend his faith', what an excuse to hide behind! Oh I see now. So the strength of one's faith is directly proportional to how hard (and how often) he or she condemns AHA (and in the process defends Islam). Well pardon me for missing the theme of this party. Oh come on Castro,Dont pick and nit pick parts to strengthen your case. She was obviously speaking about Ayan's case and that true believers shouldnt be sympathising with her[case].You know damn well shes not reffering to the general strength of ones imaan in relation to condemning the crazy dutch paliamentarian. You have been always cool headed,i think baahi baa ku hayso...go eat something[i would prefer sh1t,but food will do] You know am Kiddin atheer[abt the xaar eating]...but go easy on the girl, you know what she meant

Balayo naarta ka niikniikiya. War iga tag this has to be the unsomaliest of the somali folklore and traditional practices in modern somalia. I say this becoz can you imagine a miyi or tuulo xalimo Somewhere in Qabridahare,Luuq,Las Qore,Galkacyo or mandera singing something along the lines of "Bidix kadhaw midig kadhaw sinsin malabow..sanjab(sp)" & then a proud Geeljire farax responds by saying, something like "Waalaasha waaye waraabaha ha siinin" .Balayo waraaba haa idin siiso. Btw,what exactly does that stup1d phrase/line mean? ilaaha naleh dhaqan umalihin this business of shaking those blessed badonkadonks Speaking of which, make niiiko not war

I was having a refreshing plunge on my mind when finally the school president signal as to switch the tassel to the left eye. When I finally looked up in the crowd, there it was I spotted family and friends yelling my name. I seemed like a toothpick in relation to the three thousand graduating student. There has never been anything quite like last Saturday. This was a natural fact of life. May I take this opportunity to thank SOL for keeping me busy and occupied before the invention of facebook. SOL kept me busy after long nights of studying Organic, Biochemistry, History, Religion, and Physics. Dazed with relief I can say thanks to Allah! Congrats Stoic & Good job. Proud of you son, keep up the good work, now its grad school no sleep get your azz back to work alrght. Now,here is sol's commencement party for you.

Lol@Horn,actually the gobol is gedo,Balad Xawo to be precice But dude, seriously, this is a somaliland issue and most importantly its a day they decided is what they wanna celebrate. I dont see why the rest of somalis need to question it when indeed THEY have been without a functioning govt for 16 yrs. I think thats xaasidnimo, the somaliland govt and its people should be commended i tthink for maintaining peace and prosperity & i was hoping that the rest of somalis copy and imittate them. Its a success story by somalis for somalis,i think its unfair of ppl to criticize and condemn a people for wanting[& maintaining ] peace, justice, development & investiments, progress & democracy and general self governance. Kudos to the Landers. Keep up the good job. Just keep in mind that while the rest of the county is in war[both phisical & ideological/qabil],Somaliland is rebuilding.....

Hope she is fine somewhere.Depression/mental illness is becoming quite common in the somali community & i think its high time somalis finally come to realise that this is a simple medical problem that can be solved. If anyone gets depressed they need to be taken to the hospital and immidietly get evaluated. Somalis i think tend simplify such matters.Dont know why. Hopefully she is fine somewhere and if she aint, ilaaahey haa unaxaristo

I was of the view, with valid reasons, that PEOPLE make WADANS and not the other way around. And since when do i give a rat's azz about "Your View". Dude,we,rather I have been a witness to your so called "views". They have been barren, pointless and frankly speaking worthless. Marka ina abti, even if you had valid points, messenger kale usoo dhiib, ileen aduu weligaa somali wax fiican ka sheegayo kuma arag ee[someone pliz gimme links]. Sxbkiis, you are obviously tryna score elementary points. A wadan is a Wadan.A Bare,Barren land with no inhabitants is a wadan. Period. A Real Wadan is also a country that has a functioning govt, that guarentees the safety of its citizens etc etc... Even if wadanka has 100million ppl but no functioning govt,it has no business being called wadan. I really hope somalia would change someday, and i know it will....sadly tho,i dont see you ever changing from this artificial and bluffer face that you always present.

Originally posted by Farah Blue: Why distance yourself so much from the rest of the Somalis? Call me crazy, but this whole 18th May thing is just one big provocation with, and I rather avoid saying it, a dosis of qabiil pride. Why is Blue talking out of his azz? Because Somalis in the diaspora don't even really celebrate 1st of july or 26th of june, the real independance days. Now you see kids getting all crazy and worked up on 18th May. Putting all that energy and effort in 'the day we got rid of the rest of the skinnies'. Like its Ciid or something. What you gotta prove? If recognition will come, it will come. Nobody is going to take your freedom away from you. Somaliland's achievements are phenomenal, just truly amazing, and the rest of the Somalis should learn a lot from Somaliland. So don't waste that by acting like this. You are obviously talking from your head of course as opposed to your [blue] azz. This is one of the fundamental rights of any sovereign or semi sovereign state. They have the perogative to declare what is a holiday to them or what is not. YOU[and the larger somali proper] do not and cannot tell any other person when to & how to celebrate a holiday that has nothing to do with you[plural]. S.Land weey tashatay some 15 yrs[coincidentally that is when the war that is S T I L L going on started...hmm wonder why they did that]. Anyway, let them celebrate may 18th or june 26th ; what is important today is that they have peace, prosperity and most of all something they can call a "COUNTRY". "Somalia" wadan meesha kuma hayso.A docile and a nomadic govt kow dheh. A war that never seems to end labo dheh. Dhac iyo dil maalin walba sadax dheh...and so and so forth.. You[Plural] should be commending the people of somaliland the govt of somaliland for maintaining peace and encouraging its young & old expats to invest in their motherland. At the end of the day wether it gets recognition or not,it will be 'dhul somaliyeed' and no one can stop me and you from being a part of it. Once again Happy may 18th dhamantiinba.
