  1. Che, you might just be right, but those people exist and some are already there now. Including a Soler or two, I would wager. I'm curious though, are you planning to relocate permanently then?
  2. You're wrong in that assumption, Gooni. Shidaalka Somalia ku dhaqaaqayso waxaa laga soo diraa dibadaha. Millions in remittances is nothing to sniff at, I think. [Edit] Lol, looks like Muk got there first.
  3. Allah yarhama shacabka geeryooday. Ilaahay ha caafiyo inta dhaawacu gaadhayna. What an asinine remark.

  5. Mukulaalow (surely curi is better?), Yes yes, but a jalaato bar to be exact. Complete with the ice-cream factory in the back. Tii hii. Che, I think it's just difficult to pinpoint when might be a good time. Once all the planets are aligned, people make their decision quite quickly. No point in laying out intricate plans now when things might not happen for a long time yet. Insha'Allah khayr uun, yeah?
  6. Rukatakutochikukutokari. Bit of a mouthful, that.
  7. I fret about how I can help economically but I don't dwell on returning yet. Some time in the future haduu Alle idmo, I would guess.
  8. It seems nice and simple so far. As to official language: Af-maay is included in af-Somali. 1. Afka rasmiga ah ee Jamhuuriyadda Soomaaliya waa Af-soomaaliga oo ka kooban: Maxaa tiri, Maay tiri iyo Carabi sida ku cad jadwalka. I'm happy with the Arabic as well, better than English or Italian. Anyway, when the country stands on its own feet and some or all of its diaspora population returns, Somalia will be a country of many many languages!
  9. So, news reaches me that madaafiicdu have started again. Any confirmation? A_Khadar;813564 wrote: Saan saan Colaad - Allow sahal Serious enmity ayaa ka dilaacday meesha. And xoolo dhaqatada are being hit the hardest it seems - I'm sure shacabku are fed-up of isjiid-jiid kan. Insha'Allah khayr. PS: It's not funny but the threat to Ina Cambaashe & Xaabsade made me laugh. Ilaahayow sharafta hanaga qaadin.
  10. Hardly dear, they just want to spread the news. Nothing travels like bad news!
  11. Hi Cawaale, hope all is well with you! Ng - Well, in that case apology accepted and don't do it again. Juxa, I had a good weekend alhamdulilaah, the first part anyway, the second part was interrupted by dagaal. A thousand different people call with updates everytime the bullets start flying near Buuhoodle-town.
  12. So many cyber-warriors. Yaa frontlines-ka geeya baqbaqdooda ha naga yaraatee.
  13. This is wonderful - Dadka ugu jilicsan shacabka waa in la caawiyo.

    At least

Wyre, I too had some trouble accessing SOL last week, but it was only for a day I think. It was OK the next time I checked.

The government will be able to monitor the calls, emails, texts and website visits of everyone in the UK under new legislation set to be announced soon. Internet firms will be required to give intelligence agency GCHQ access to communications on demand, in real time. The Home Office says the move is key to tackling crime and terrorism, but civil liberties groups have criticised it. Tory MP David Davis called it "an unnecessary extension of the ability of the state to snoop on ordinary people". Attempts by the last Labour government to take similar steps failed after huge opposition, including from the Tories. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-17576745 Give them an inch and they take a mile. Certain agencies and institutions have been in one way or another attempting to gain free and full access to our communications. I hope this doesn't go through.
  16. Ilaahay mahadii, Juxa. Did you have a good weekend?
  17. This isn't your HR dept, no need to apologise for your tardiness. (And salaam to you too.)
  18. Wa salaam and subax wanaagsan Juxa and all who will post after me, I'A.
  19. Juxa, Apparently a lot of people use their loved ones' names and DOBs as passwords. Easy to remember. NGONGE;811636 wrote: p.s. VAL, if Nin Yaaban is "Nadiif" for telling us his mother name, does that mean that Sayid & Carafaat are "wasakh"? Hey hey, baxar hay gelin, sidaas maanan uga jeedin and Sayid knows that. PS: Sayid, now I understand why you chose that handle.

  21. ^ Hey get out of the way. $200k aa? Holy crap! Then again you're dealing with rich spoiled kids day and night. Way u qalantaa.
  22. That too. But I was thinking of the 2001 members like MMA, LST and Blessed who are still active.
  23. Nin Yaaban waa nadiif and straightforward. Plus waa waya arag, waxba kama baqdo since the justice system already soo tufay. Aw @ Sayid's son. Bless.
