  1. ADDIS ABABA, Jan 4 (Reuters) - Uganda is ready to send peacekeepers to Somalia as soon as its parliament approves the plan, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni said on Thursday. "The troops are ready but I have to consult the speaker of parliament. As soon as parliament approves, they will be sent to Somalia," he said at a joint news conference in Addis Ababa with Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi. Ugandan government officials have repeatedly expressed concerns about sending soldiers to the Horn of Africa country, saying the force needed a clear mission and exit strategy. source
  2. The fears 1. A Somali government recognize by the world and in control of the country. 2. A united “South” with Mogadishu, Kismayu, Bossaso under one administration. 3. Losing their “Special” status tag as Mogadishu becomes ever more stable. All three factors are becoming a reality Are they? The first and hardest of your 'fears' has yet to be accomplished, and virtually impossible without a large and long standing foreign military presence in the country.
  3. he is just a place holder ambassador. The question seems to me to be, who is he keeping the seat warm for? Some other unqualified, jumped-up individual given the job according to tribal affiliation?
  4. Surely broken english would have been more suitable for Zenawi-yusuf, rather than Posh english? Just can't imagine Cabdi saying Tally-ho..i can imagine him writing 'Your Sincerly' Other than that though... very funny!
  5. On the website, the captions next to those images read 'Somalia-Eritrea' so how do we know whose Somali and whose Eritrean?

  8. lol...you make it sound as if i'm desperate or something. This has got nothing to do with me, rather all to do with you women. One question girls. If you had a great husband, very capable, very rich. And he wanted to marry another woman ( for example to start his own 'dynasty' or something) On what grounds would you refuse him on? Remember, he would be capable of having more than one wife, plus he has the religion on his side.
  9. lol look at the trouble we 10 million have caused for ourselves. Imagine the anarchy when the population is 45 million!
  10. lool xax, i was just going to ask Xalimo what else could you possibly do. Something tells me your response is going to be echoed by most or all of the girls.

  14. Financial support is an obvious one. Political endorsement of their actions is another. Intelligence, whether they be Satellite imagery or other is more than probable. Perhaps, a promise of support in case Eritrea advances into Ethiopia,
  15. All involved in the execution are shi'ites, or so they would have us believe. They're wearing balaclavas because of fear of reprisal from the Sunni insurgency. Cowards, craven who would abuse a man about to die behind masks. I'd actually advise you to watch the execution, to get a real sense of what the world is about.
  16. Take of your blinkers, Duke. See beyond tribalism, and see beyond western 'democracy'. This puppet 'government', this riff-raff is not worth our disdain, let alone our support.
  17. He said : 'Is this how real men should behave?' he finished it whilst he was being throttled? he couldnt breathe, how could he speak? They did it on purpose.
  18. When the insignificant people use the power given to them by the foreigners to oppress their own people, they are but worthless and lowly. Saddam Hussein
  19. lA-ILLAHA-ILLAL LAAH I have just watched the hanging of Saddam. And i am in absolute awe of his bravery. The strenght of voice he maintained just before they let loose the trapdoor, when his voice rang with a solemn shahaada. Truly, i have scarcely seen anything as moving. he would have finished his second sha-haada but they opened the trapdoor half way through. His last word was 'Muxammad'. Subxana-laah Most of you will know how he was taunted whilst the noose was round his neck. So much so, that one of them begged the others to show respect for a man about to die. Personally, although i cannot tell how responsible Saddam was for the deaths he was being held accountable for, I only hope Allah will show a brave and pious man his mercy, for verily he is the all-forgiving.
  20. SAT 30 DECEMBER SADDAM HUSSEIN HAS BEEN EXECUTED BY HANGING. reports from Al-Huraa & Al Arabiya suggest he was hanged just before 3:00 AM GMT

  23. the 'obstacle' in their way is being moved mainly by (and with help of) Amxaaro, and TFG 'power' alone could never have done this....so how can you say the TFG is the 'strongest single power in Somalia'?
