Central Somaliland and Sanaag were not even part of Somaliland administration until 2002. Burco also used the Somalia shilling till 2010 . So kids duufka iska tirtira. It is up to the people of the central areas and Sanaag where they will join in the future.

How so. Khaatumo and Makhir areas are already recognized as not part of modern day Somaliland in every international map. Likewise if the communities of central Somaliland, Awdal and Sanaag quit the project that is what will happen.

Aroori those are areas that have no ill feeling towards Somalia meaning not extreme secessionists.That is why differences has to be highlighted. We don't want the international community being fooled to think everyone is a extreme secessionist. So there is different categories of northerners in the map. 1. Outright unionists (Makhiir, Khaatumo) 2. Moderates (Central Somaliland, Sanaag and Awdal) 3. Extreme secessionists.

The green areas (Western Togdheer, eastern/southern Waqooyi Galbeed, Awdal and western/central Sanaag) is the United Northern States areas ( United Somaliland Front) headed by Mustafe Martin. Grey areas is Khaatumo/Maakhir. Those areas have no problem staying within future reformed federal Somalia.
