  1. WOL, As you rightly noted, your position is only applicable under an Islamic state, which if you look around, hasn't been in existence for 80 odd years. Lashings, 4 witnessess, it's all good: just show me the STATE. Untill then, a few Jamaican(and/or/somali/paki/arab/whoever) bodies found floating in the river will send a clear and subtle(well, not really) message: Muslim girls are off-limits. A waiting death-trap if you go about her the wrong way. Spinners can call it murderous and 'racialistic' all they want: it's just retribution. Where I come from, the quickest way to court death is to insult a woman. Let alone using/abusing them. It's how we do on our side. Note: The 'Najaasah' term went for the Mushrik Impregnator, not the Tayyib/Tahir Muslim fetus.
  2. ^^ Well, He did knock up the girl, no ? Whether she was willing accomplice or not isn't relevant. He commited the crime and has to face the music. So this is nothing more than 'honour killing' updated for the 21st century. Only this time the dogs get the bullet insteada the dames. Plus, I said sacred life, not a sorry licentious excuse for an najaasah'istic existence.
  3. "You live by the gun/ you die by the guns kids" What else can you expect, So-Damn ? It's Death, baby, D-E-F. I know that habaar was an issue with an earlier thread, so let me polish off mine and let it rip: O Great Leader and Father of the Iraqi people, May your nights be filled with Abu Ghraib-like torture. May you die knowing that the two pearls of your eyes died like cornered rats, their bullet-ridden bodies beamed across the globe. Awwwwwwww. May you see the eyes of the victims in your sleep as they tell you: " We await you here in the Other World. You shall join us soon. Justice" ^^ All that sincerely said, You still have a chance at redemption while your heart still beats. Take the Shahadah, become a Muslim, and all of your atrocities whille be instantaneously forgiven.(You still have to answer for the victim's aspect. Only they can forgive you on that). G'luck with your trial.
  4. Took a trip down to the Archives room of SOL, Peep & Ponder: Far waa wayn: Abortion is a far more henious crime than FGM. Cutting of a hand, a foot, or a clitoris for that matter can never come close to ending sacred life. Now that things are in perspective, I think it's time to de-emotionalise this thread and look at Nur's examination of the crisis faced by sexually active muslims ( politically correct term for lechers and sluts)of both genders and their families. From what I gleaned from his posts, this incident is what spurred him to think about the so-called "Sunnah Procedure". "Nur, my friends 14 year old daughter is pregnant, this Jamaican teen is worthless, a drop out, now what should I do Nur? does Islam permit abortion"? an actual phone call. I'd have the family shoot the Jamaican dude(who impregnated her with his vile najaasah) dead. It can be 'fixed' so that he's another black statistic. It's very doable, runtii. As for the girl, the only option is to take her in with wide open arms, shower her with love and forgiveness, what happened happened and there's no turning back the clock. Raise the child and give him the best education and an ironclad system of moral and values. Ditto the strayed sister. Which brings us to the FGM side of the arguement. I must second Nur and Baashi. FGM as practiced throughout much of the Muslim world has nothing to do with Islam, a pure cultural construct. The 'Sunnah procedure' isn't compulsory and I don't even think it's encouraged. I know for a fact that Hanbali school of thought doesn't practice it. P.S. Nomads in the US & A, make special prayers that Mademoiselle Miers gets a quick and speedy Senate hearing; with her and Monsieur Roberts on the Supreme Court, it's only a matter of time before Roe v Wade is struck down as the murder-sanctioning tool it is. Macshar Al-Feminists, Thy doom is neigh
  5. What makes our iimaan weak? hint, please read Tawbah 75-77 and share your thoughts Heart-wrenching ayahs, runtii. How many times do we ask Allah of his bounty, promising in return to do good, to become pious, to follow the rightoues path. How often do we fulfil our end of the bargain ? Breaking one's word is always reprenhensible, but is especially henious when the other party is Allah(SWT). Then what ? " Fa acqabahum nifaaqan fii quloobihim ilaa youmi yalqawnahu bimaa akhlafu allaha ma wacaduuhu wa bimaa kaanu yakthiboon" Hypocrisy in your heart untill the Day of Judgement ?? I'm not sure if I'm understanding this correctly but it's beyond weakening of Imaan. These are some serious ramifications because you a) lied to God b) broke your promise c) turned away from his message
  6. we are all aware there are many countries out there that do follow the shariah-law Name one besides Saudi(and even there it's on a face-value basis). Fact of the matter is there's no ideal Islamic Society anywhere, you gotta make-do with what u got.
  7. ^^ Sobering Statistic. Landmines ma ka fikirtay ?
  8. Asxabul Kahf, I've been to both the UAE and Saudi and am speaking from experience. Like you said, Saudi has too many restrictions. For every step you make, you gotta get a 'permission' paper from your 'kafeel'(sponsor). They take bucreatic red-tape to new heights. Wanna marry ? get a 'no objection' letter. Wanna travel from Makkah to Madeenah ? , get a 'travel permission' slip. Hajj, huh ? a whole rack of documentation, sir. You get the picture. If you can stomach all that, with the occaisional human-rights violation, then of course the enviroment is to kill for. UAE, on the other hand, is a smooth ride. Easy to get into( 30 day reneweable Visa@entry), and easy to stay in. Not so sure about the job market so it's best if u arrive with a job in hand. Search the international ads, there's always something out for bilingual professional Western Muslims. Islamically, the enviroment varies from Emirate to Emirate, with Shariqah/Ajman being the most conservative. Dee waa ku kaas, nooh. Good Luck. [ October 05, 2005, 08:07: Message edited by: Rahima ]
  9. WOL, that is one seriously messed up situation in Turkey. We need a Reverse Attaturk to undo the effects of 80+ years of secular rule. Ramadan Kareem to all my representing Akhs and Ukhts in the Land of the Kali-Fate.
  10. ^^Speakin of Turkey, Is it true that you're 'encouraged' not to fast ? 'in spirit with the secular nature yadda yadda' Can't pin down the source but heard it more than once. Bur Bur= 2 Bur's Saliid Saliid= 2 Saliid's
  11. pre-2001 Kandahar, Afghanistan. Tryna tell you. doesn't get no better. Seriously tho, UAE(Ajman or Shariqah) would be ur best bet. Best of both worlds and not a whole lot to the flipside.
  12. It's Official: Tommorow Tuesday the 4th is the first day of Ramadan. Taraaweeh t'night !! YEAH,baby
  13. Kashafa

    taghout

wallah very beneficial, another weapon to combat the neo-khawarij radicals On the contrary, a very helpful tool for them to identify Taghoots worldwide. Peep #1 and #3a
  14. Where are you o ye spirited defenders of Islam to come and see how these amateurs are tossing it around like a child rearranging the alphabet Oh the agony !! The braying never stops with this guy, does it. Lend a ear and pack away ur obession with fake mullahs for a sec, while I attempt to explain what Ninka Cadaanka Muslimka is saying. First off, please note the difference in the quality of writing. Between the two of you, you're the one that sounds like a fire-breathing fanatic. Howell calmly explains his point of view, doesn't take bait, and is noble enough to provide his tel # if ur genuinely troubled with his line of thought. A gesture you(and others) flippantly dismiss. By now, ur rebuttal technique to anybody who disagres with you islamically is formulaic: 1-Label Liberally: throw'em out as thick and as generic as possible: Beard-Stroker, Hijab-Adjuster etc 2-Tarnish Credibilty: artifical, fake, amateur, etc 3(and here's the signature move !)- : Accuse anybody that quotes a ayah or a hadeeth of playin fast and loose with the Qu'raan and the Sunaah(that's a serious charge by the way) because: OMG, how dare (s)he take divine text so easily. Le Scandelouse !! This imbecile !! This.. This... Forgive me for taking you apart like that, but this is the umpteenth time you're using that lazy technique. You can come up with a better rebuttal. Seriously. Just put some thought and civilty into it. Back to the topic: Howell quotes Sheik Al-Fawzaan,( also providing the page numbers, so you can get your 'context' fix) about a well-known Islamic principle. Mockery of Allah, His Prophet, and His Commands = Disbelief. Please do not play the semantics card now. We all know what mockery is. What, pray tell, is so vauge, so amateurish, so "fake mullah"ish about that ? Do you reject that principle ? If yes, say so. If no, also say so. But don't go off on a tanget about beard-strokers. Engage, baby, engage Back up ur accusations with proof, Abti.
  15. @Somali children sometimes refer to me as Shaytanka Cadaanka or Galo. Reminds me of this Caucasion Muslim revert who married a Somali sister and was visiting his 'sodoh' (mother-in-law) She kept on calling him 'Muslimka Gaalka'. "War Muslimka Gaalka aaway ?" Brother Howell, Muslimka Gaalka literally means "The Infidel Muslim". But I guess Mom meant it as The White Muslim.
  16. ^^ It seems to me that brother Ofleh-turned-Cooleh-turned-Fideltheoppositeofinfidel-turned-Castro, is coming down with a bad case of the persecution complex. Not at all, runtii. Despite your unorthodox musings(which I get the feeling is written more for shock value/get-people-to-think than actual belief in it), you're actually 'cool' . Just be gracious enough to accept a furious tongue-lashing every now and then when you let rip another Whoppper. Comes with the territory. P.S. Heads up, the position of resident whipping boy is still open on SOL.
  17. That child will receive no forgiveness. She is a "coward", an effin "moron" and "will be a loser" who shall be "punished in the Fire of Hell . I can see that you're tryna pull a Ngonge here, comrade. Scoring points through a hidden agenda on the misfortune of others is not quite creative however. It's more like a low-life approach, runtii. After Katrina hit, Father Fidel didn't sit there and gloat on the inadequacy of the capitalistic system, no, he up and offered 20,000 doctors. Take notes from your namesake. You can do a parody on fire-breathing 'wadaads' some other time. Please show some consideration to the dead. *this message will self-destruct in 15 seconds*
  18. determined that if you decline that he would camp right infront of your apartment building peresistently praying in public view all of Ramadan until you accept, what would you do? Nur-ka, ileen macalin wayn baa ahayd !! Didn't know Cag Bakayle's had this much game in them
  19. Abaayo Ipod and Abaayo Nasra( yo, this name might stick ), You guys are over-analysing. It's funny tho, When Nur lampoons the ladies: it's sexist. When he does the exact same thing to guys: a) it's not enough(ipod), b) it's male-bashing(Nasra). Take it for what it is(or at least what i read from it): a good-humoured dig at both genders' behaviour. About high time we had our very own social satirist(scientist ?) on SOL. It's the freakin' Weekend, go have some fun
  20. ^^ Have a cold cup of Caano Geel and chill, ur overlooking the obvious fact that this is a humorous satire piece. ie, you're actually encouraged to chuckle, tehee, hee-haw, or since you now call yourself Nasra, giggle , while reading it. Nur-ka, Sign me up for the 5th Semester. Transfering over some credits from Bachelor-in-Big-City U.
  21. ^^ Good post. As time goes by the economic market is getting more and more competitive. Internships, networking contacts, reccomendations all give one applicant a head start over another. Like Hurricane Katrina said, you must actively gain experience in your field while in college. If you're working to pay bills/tuition during the school year, take full advantage of the summer time. You don't want to be a green rookie fresh out of college with little to no experience on how the corporate world operates. You do want to be out-pacing your peers because of the time and preperation you put in. The devil is in the details. Your big break could come from any of your free labour intern gigs.
  22. I prefer not to discuss my family on this website, son There we go. An admission of implicit guilt. Just make sure you don't 'discuss' other families during your tirades and we'll be good virtual buddies. Check it, Your point is valid. What's insensitive and unacceptable is the way you're going about making it. Tact may not be one of your strong points, but there are ways to debate the tactless. Finally, my Psych 201 teacher said something the other day that might explain the conundrum that is Ngonge.*paraphrasing*: "There's a theory that states that some men may overcompensate for "genitalia deficiency"( she put it more bluntly, not tryna inflict too much damage on ur psyche here) by becoming hyper-agressive in an attempt to make up for their perceived lack of virility." You have my condolonces, but ranting and raving on SOL won't make the problem go away. *^^ how's that for a cheap insensitive shot ? taste of your own medicene will hopefully cure you, Abti* As Sky asked: "Why are you always trying to prove yourself over and over and over" Over and over and Over. Ruminate on that for a sec... Peace
  23. Note: You haven't answered the questions. Are your kids fair game for ridicule and satire should any mishap/crime befall them ? short succinct answer, Abti Do unto others......
  24. ^^ Or else this: I didn't want to go there but your incredible pig-headedness leaves me no choice. You say you're a father, no ? Would u still use 'ridicule' and 'satire' if your child was in the same position ? Would you mind if I penned a similarly distasteful piece ? *Ngonge's eyes slowly widening: His folly hits him now* "Walk a mile in anothers shoe" never fails. Now read it one more time: "The child got raped in a toilet! A damn toilet! The poor child would have overcome this ordeal much quicker had the attack taken place in the honeymoon penthouse in the local Sheraton Hotel" doesn't sound like a brilliant idea now , does it ? P.S. I got no beef with you, old man. Just be man enough to acknowledge a mistake. Keep it moving.
  25. Aight, so my words got to you and you lashed out in a instictive 'save-face-at-all-costs' reply. Let's see if a cool-headed approach will make you realise your folly. You object to so-called 'shameless sensationalising' and Sky's posting of the scene of the crime. Instead of addressing that directly and head-on, you write this little gem: "The child got raped in a toilet! A damn toilet! The poor child would have overcome this ordeal much quicker had the attack taken place in the honeymoon penthouse in the local Sheraton Hotel." ^^ Are you tryna be witty ? Ridicule you say ? Use ur amazing powers of riducle on any SOL member who disagrees with you, but do not, DO NOT, include this victim in any of your distasteful satirical comments. It happened before with the victims of the Iraq war. Old dogs and habits may die hard, but try and temper that free-wheeling tongue. Be creative on somebody else's expense.
