Listen go to Jigjiga, etc. and it's developing and nice and what not. Leave the main roads and you will see the real Somali Galbeed, displaced villagers, etc. in hiding etc. Ethiopian army will most likely not bother you as they're in their garissons, they only come out when an attack took place they will then go to the village, kill, burn and torture. I'm from Somali Galbeed, I want SL to be recognized. It will give us hope as well to get rid of the Xabashis. I see in the future all Somalis uniting like the UAE. Somaliland + Puntland + Somalia + Jubbaland + Somali Galbeed and maybe even North Kenya and Djibouti.

South Sudan has oil, a lot of it, now they're still fighting in tribal clashes, still poor but the Cadaans are taking everything as usual. The only way Somaliland is going to get recognized is if Shabab makes it to Puntland. The world will then recognize SL to counter Shababs spread in Somalia.

Iraqi Kurdistan is richer, more organized, has a proper army, has OIL, has tourism from other countries (and no I don't mean the diaspora) yet they are not recognized. So why would the world recognize a country that only looks good because of it's southern neighbor?
