^ That won't happen, anyone that tries gets shot down and the country gets invaded - look at Saddam Hussein and more recently Gaddafi. He tried to unite African countries, use Gold as a currency. etc. If you can't unite people in one country that speak the same language and religion you think can unite people over 22 countries with different dialects/cultures and ambitions. If it doesn't work on a micro level it won't work on a macro level.

XX you can say the exact same thing about Somalis. All they need to do is unite and they'll be stronger than Kenya/Uganda/Ethiopia etc. Not only that but they could be a major power player in the ME too. Iran/Russia is sending weapons via the Red Sea, if Somalia had a navy we could have been playing our part in either helping the Russians or stopping Iran from sending weapons. Syrian Opposition would have a meeting in Xamar, followed by meetings with the Russians/Americans/Iranians etc. But alas refugee camps is the only thing we can fight for now.

They are the opposite of reliable. They don't understand Somali politics and blame everything on Shabab. They don't understand the Jubbaland issue but think it's Somalis backed by Kenyans vs Shabab. I mean look at their headlines. Al-Shabaab militants have carried out a string of brutal attacks and crimes against civilians in recent weeks -- kidnapping, beheading and robbing Somalis in complete disregard of the sharia law the group purports to uphold.

As you can see, Jigjiga looks better than most newly towns like Bosaso, Hargeisa etc. This is due to there being urban planning through the local government and not private owners/businesses building anything, anywhere.
