Enough said but a perfect example that our somali brothers in Jigjiga doolow and Dire Dawa could have in their struggle is how a small band of Eritrean hard-core well trained political educated guerrillas defeated and humiliated one of the best armed governments of Africa. The Eritrean had their luck of history (mengistu lost the support from Moscow in 1991 while the OG lost or got engeaged in a vicous somali civil war in Somalia) but still he (Mengistu) was not able to defeat the EPLF early 80-ties. Note that the EPLF was composed by muslim eritreans (ELF) and christian tigrayans. They were from diffirent ethnic backgrounds and some did not even have a common language to communicate within themselves. They ofcourse did not want to use the hated amharic. While the EPLF regrouped and repelled the offensive mengistu conducted the OG or Somali region at that time WSLF was not succsesfull in llberating one inch of OG. Some would in hurry answer that the TPLF and EPLF worked together and thats why Eritrea got it's independence. Well this might be true but the same applies to the OG or WSLF at that time, They were in alliance with the soomali aabow or Oromo liberation front and Afar liberation front. Zack and Mad Mullah have some serious questions to answer, . My personal theory is that Jaale Siyaad (alle ha u naxariisto) intervened so roughly that the somalis in the region never had a chance regroup themselves decide theire destiny. After the defeat in 1978 they simply went to Mogadishu, why fight when you had your Somali brothers in Somalia you could flee to? But Mad Mullah we have a banadiri proverb that goes like , nin mininkiisa meel ku haynin maxaas dad u sheega? Those OG-fighers who are still fighting are in my eyes not sell-outs, but those who made a deal with Malas plus the famous Itixaad wadaads are a shame to that community. Kolley dhulkaas marka ey dadka ka imaaday ey ka tashadaan aa xal laga hela. As long as somalis are divided amongst clan lines their will be no separate somali region. Even so, the future is bleak, a somali government guarded by ethiopian supported amison army is not in the best intrest of somali seperatists in Ethiopia. Neither is the support from a vindictive Isayas of Eritrea. But one question remains that I asked earlier, what went so perfectly good in Eritrea but so wrong in Dire Dawa and Jigjiga. Maybe Abtigiis could put his comment on this issue, kilinka ayaamahan maxaa ka socdo? That's a very good question and something that needs to be researched. I will not however accept insults hurled at us by people that are also under Uganda/Burundi and even Ethiopian/Kenyan occupation.
  2. Don't you know Mogadishu is one of Turkey's biggest cities soon they will learn how to speak Turkish.
  3. One comment = obsession? I am with the truth Saxib. I support Khaatumo leaving SL - I also support Somaliland's recognition - I also support Jubbaland.
  4. How can you accept a foreign delegation like that? The sofa in my living room is bigger than that. Look how uncomfortable they look! Look at the cheap curtains?
  5. Kenyans are hard professional workers, Xamarians are lazy and unreliable.
  6. Somalilanders have the right Somali colour - I don't know why everyone in Xamar is as black the as the night. vs Mogadishu
  7. Hobesian is a joker if people make peace he says they haven't got balls - and if they fight he say Islam and peace can't co-exist.

They were the only ones that managed to keep Somalia united and under control without raping refugees.

There's a reason why Puntlander's hate on Somaliland and vice versa. Why Haggers brag about Turks building some roads. Its all Qabeel.
  11. Stop chewing Qat and go clean Hassan's boots. Jubbaland is here to stay no matter how many threads the HAG opens.
  12. This is why I hate it when Somalis talk about racism against them: we dont need kenyans, tell them to gtfo their government is already trying to domesticate certain regions in Somalia and we dont need more Bantu, we should send all Bantus and half Bantus back to Kenya and Tanzania were they belong. Jareer ma jiro, jareerta somali ma ahaan
  13. There's no truth on this forum, only HAGGERS that will come out in support of their thieving uncle. I posted same thread on Skyscrapercity but all the HAG factions came together to call it fake.

Who's submitted saxib, Ethiopian troops in Somalia, Uganda/Burundi/Ivory Coast in Xamar - Kenyans in Kismayo. Only people that can make that joke might be Hargeisa folks - and even they have to come to Addis Abeba when they are summoned. And don't say wallah when you worship fire you clown.

How can I take them serious their own president can't leave his house with out telling Uganda and Burundi where exactly he wants to go.
  18. lol some of these Jahils that are going hard against Siyad Barre are defending Assad in the other thread.
  19. Classified;977529 wrote: That's more like it. Embrace our 'Ethiopiannimo'. How does it feel living as a second-class citizen in your own country [Ethiopia]? Saxib, Somalis in Somalia live as second class citizens there's a difference between being occupied by Foreign forces and inviting them to protect your street lights, hospitals because the natives are too barbaric. People in Palestine, Kurdistan, Tibet look at Somalis and think we'll never be like that.
  20. It's not the whole episode though. Damn Japanese why is everyone in their anime cadaan?
  21. One of the most popular cartoon shows at that moment.
  22. hit and run is still ongoing. Chinese still can't work on the gas situation in OG-land.
  23. Cambuulo iyo bun;977517 wrote: but you where saying the guns are aimed at habeshas right? Only one thing though... aint no war in kilil 5 your tol submitted to the habeshas.. Guerrilla war/insurgency. But I support making peace for the time being us 4 million people can't beat 80 million people. Let's be realistic. So now Ethiopia is lifting blockades of the region and more schools/universities are being built etc. Even my dad went back after not being there for over 20+ years. We have to be like the Kurds -- educate ourselves and when the time is right and a revolution/military coup happens we take our region and all the military bases etc. and tada. Half the job is done.
