  1. Horta, why is it the only healthy SOmalis a brother comes across is the ones in SOL. I mean, the ones in real life are just like me: eat whatever the Lord has made halal, feast on baris and basto, chicke n burgers all day erday, shah like a chocolate fountain and still be as skinny as a qori. Praise the Lawd! ps. JB you should put on shorts and a t shirt and jog around H town every morning.
  2. Jibouti could technically pass for North East Africa.
  3. You should try begging. Go to a town where there are no Somalis and sit outside an ATM/bank. Have a sign saying, "homeless, no food tonight". You will make at least 50-100 dollars per night roughly.
  4. I think we should gather all the research on this thread and put into a book.
  5. Subhanllah. How fast time goes.

  7. Ibtisam, there was a whole big hooha about athletics cheats. And a lot of cynicism from the media about the sport. Bolt has made alot of that a distant memory. And yeah daddy long legged ppl aren't always good at running. think of Peter Crouch for instance. Fufu, dee at least put your muscles to use and rep for somalia in the weighlifting olypics. hadi kale useless muscle wayn ba tahey. ps. weren't you liverpool supporter too Ooh, and Ngonge, Norf and Nune are reflecting, give em some time.
  8. Fufu, adigu gymka ku gogodey why don't you run for Somalia? Bro, if Bolt turns out to be a fake, it will really be the end of athletics. The man has single handledly revived interest in a dying sport which was plagued by drug cheats. Plus he's the first 100 metre runner or even athlete to become a truly global sports star. I hope he hasn't been smpoking weed.
  9. Word! 9.58. Caadi maha this Jamaican.
  10. Liverpool don't look as smooth with mascher and lucas, two dms, in the middle. I don't see them doing better than last season if Aquillani doesn't step up 2 ALonsos plate. Personally, I would have Benayoun in the first 11. Spurs should have a descent season.
  11. yeah, fabregas is better or more effective with two Mids behind them rather than in a 442. but you're right about the strength in depth though. Spurs liverpool should be good.I like Harry quickly builds good team and finds unknown players. maybe he would have done a nice a job @ one of the top clubs? ps. it's the 100 metres world champ final this evening. Bolt vs Gay. of course BOLt will probably smash the world record again.
  12. braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaap 4-0
  13. War, if he built a million schools, universities , mosques, prayed a for a thousands nights, and fasted a thousands months; it will never erase his ridda/apostasy of being a marxist and open denier of Quranic Ayat. The only way his ridda could have been erased is if he repented from his Marxism and his war against Islam and the Muslims. And Allah knows best if he did that.
  14. i was told sheikh shariffs fax machine accidentaly logged on to this forum.

Good riddance they are gone. All of them should be shipped back to where they came from. I agree completely. Teaching Islam in Somalia a generation or two ago "might" have been ok. Because back then Islam was mostly benign and depoliticized and its teachers and proselytizers were humane, gentle and generally decent people. That's all gone nowadays. Modern "tabliiqs" spread virulent, politicized and hateful form of Islam that's alien to Somalia. These born again muslims are constantly angry (at everything and everyone), dour and impersonal. This version of Islam they spread goes by various names, among them include: Talibanism, Wahabism, Islamic extremism and what have you. It was alien to Somalia and Somalis just 5-10 years ago. But not any more. We now regularly hear of Somalis being arrested for "Islamic" terrorism and blowing themselves up in suicide operations in the cause of Allah. Now, since we know these ideas are not native to Somalia, then they must have come from abroad. There is two avenues for this message to reach Somalis. One, Somali foot soldiers learn these pernicious ideas from abroad and bring them to Somalis. Second, foreigners themselves come to spread them in Somalia. Do not be fool yourselves into believing those shiikhs came to Somalia to teach alif ba ta... they probably came to preach martyrdom and Jihad, i.e. terrorism. I agaree taree! but you fargod to say that another reason why Tabliq should be worthy of being killed is because they wearing samting is like khamees arab look like dirac and they have long her on ze face not shaving is with gillet long timis, which is mean they might brobabaly be terraristi.
  16. AMY GOODMAN: And Siad Barre of Somalia? JEFF SHARLET: Yeah, dictator of Somalia. It’s, to me, one of the scariest stories that I found in their archives. I was able to recreate this, because they dumped 600 boxes of papers in the Billy Graham archives. Siad Barre was a—not a likely candidate for Christian right recruitment, called himself a Koranic Marxist. But in the early ’80s, the Soviets had abandoned him. There had been a power shift between Somalia and Ethiopia. He was in the market for a new patron. And working through Senator Chuck Grassley, Republican of Iowa, of course still in office— AMY GOODMAN: Talk more about Chuck Grassley, who certainly is in the news now, who, together with Max Baucus, heads the Senate Finance Committee. JEFF SHARLET: Yeah. AMY GOODMAN: Baucus, Democrat; Grassley, Republican. Very powerful figure, especially around healthcare right now. JEFF SHARLET: Indeed. And Grassley has been involved with the organization for quite some time, since the ’80s, when he traveled to Somalia to join Barre, Siad Barre, in prayer to Jesus. And he brought with him a defense contractor named Bill Brehm. And Barre was a kind of a cynical character, as you might expect for a dictator. He was very clear. He says, “I’m willing to pray to Jesus, and here’s what I want in return.” He says, “I want my defense budget doubled.” He says, “I want meetings for my officials with the Reagan White House. And I want a sort of a hands-off policy while I crack down on some rebels.” Doug Coe, the leader of the group, wrote back, in essence, “Done, done and done.” And when we look at history, so it was. And Barre used those weapons, supplied to him in part by the US, to wage a war of almost biblical proportion on his own people, from which Somalia has not recovered to this day. The Family doesn’t consider that a failure; they consider that God’s will for Somalia.

  18. Religous pretenders establish peace and stability in Kismayo. Are the ppl of Kismayo complaining? No! Who is? Pseudo cyber intellectuals.
  19. TFG is like Newcastle United FC. They get a new owner/manager everyear, their supporters (of course far less than Newcastle) cheer for the messiah, then the reality and relegation hits. We need some netball terminology for the somali yanks.

He's been all over the world and no other cat managed to complete even one round with him. He never expected to lose his unblemished record in Mogadishu. Infact he never heard of the place before 1992. But after two devastating defeats, he finally gave in and asked Aar what he eats that gives such explosive power while remaining so thin. "Waar meow I'm not a cat" roared offended Aar. "I'm a starving lion...kitty!" . classic
  21. ^^ I didn't care or know anything about it till the 2006 war . Then I discovered this forum, and now I am a seasoned cyber political boxer. If you don't know jack, just act like an expert that is what most Somalis do anyway. But it's a waste of time, so I wouldn't really bother with it, if I was you; that is, unless you want to became the mayor of Burco. In that case, Kashafa would be a good tutor for beginners.
