  1. You accuse them of using Ethiopia and praising the Ethiopian state for tribal purposes, yet you were doing the same thing for the past two years. In fact, you were the chief promoter of the Ethiopian occupation, as well as the chief apologist/denier of their crimes. Today, they had a feud with your clan hero , thus, now, Ethiopia is your foe. If they are kissing EThiopian butt,as you say they are, you were doing it yesterday. SO what exactly is the difference between the people you are accusing and your own position? I think they are just two sides of the same coin.
  2. ^^Yeah, I think they have list of young female candidates, and then the one with the most votes gets to become the wife president or the first lady of Somaliland. (NO, first lady is a privilige of being married to the el presidento) horta, is everybody a mujahid in Somaliland? where is mujahid Jacalybro?

  4. It is merely a hypothesis which is yet to be tested on SOL.
  5. lol, this must be the millionth thread concerning Muqdisho nostalgia.

If you had said: "SL as a sovereign and independent country with a strong national army should come to help her neighbour, you might have got a different reaction. go figure.
  7. The ironic thing is that now the peace caravan group want( or at least appear to) the Ethiopians to stay till some other African or UN protectors arrive.

  9. Shumey, I think you can find some online courses to follow online, although you should verify the legitimacy of the organisations, as there are schemers these days. And no, this organisation, which is a new one, set up a local ustadh doesn't do online classes. p.s, it shouldn't be hard to find Arabic teachers in Puntland.
  10. HERE THEY COME! Nuune, bro Somalis do not need peacekeepers. We need peacemakers.
  11. Originally posted by ThePoint: It's really quite annoying when some folks choose to dismiss facts for whatever reasons. These are the facts: 1- Young adults including teens were sent to Somalia to wage 'jihad' 2- These young adults attended dugsis in Minn 3- They did not have independant means to undertake a trip to Somalia and their parents were unaware of it until after they were there What/whether and who was behind sending these folks is yet to be fully determined. That is debatable. What is not debatable are the facts above. I would like officials to investigate all aspects of this including the said mosque and imam. And who are the folks who are annoying you ? Name and shame de........
  12. ^^Being connected to your tribe or region doesn't mean you follow them like an ignorant sheep or that they have to shape your political ambitions( which are mostly negative in the SOmali case).
  13. But, you do not live in Somalia, do you? In any case, at least you truthful, unlike the unholy brigade in the politics section who hide behind the banner of: somali unity, governance and all the bogus claims.
  14. ^^ we are black, skinny, we were red cimamads these days, we got pirates too. That's about it.
  15. LIly, the story is about SOme kids being suspected of going back to SOmalia and also being involved in the PL and SL attacks. Where did "suffering people in Xamar" being targeted come into this? Are there people who target Xamar civilians purposely? Afrogirl, walal, wearing the garment above the ankle, although some Ulema are divided upon its status, is a sunnah of the Prophet(saw)and is extremely disliked if done of arrogance. So, walal, be careful in your words, when you want to insult wadado, next time. As to the video: the young mans case is with Allah. ALso, what "truth" has been told?
  16. Originally posted by -Lily-: If there is truth to it, wouldn’t we all want someone to stop young boys from blowing up people who’ve already been through hell in Xamar? My only concern would be innocent imams getting muddled in with guilty ones. Yes, but, where is the evidence that young boys(from abroad) are blowing up people who " have been through hell in Xamar"? Everybody seems to running with that has been fed to them by the media............ Afro, Islam does encourage "love, compassion, mercy; however, I didn't see any of that in your judgemental post. p.s People sending kids or helping them fight wars in different lands is seriously wrong, especially when they slip away without their parents permission. Perhaps, one could say this unislamic and morally wrong? Although, people going abroad is hardly anything new, especially Muslim youths, in fact, it was encouraged when people went to Afghanistan and Bosnia. OK, I better stop here before the self proclaimed jajus of SOL report me.
  17. xaji, you have to go there and wave the blue flag. p.s( lowar the gaze de)
