  1. SMS: Waan ku jeclaa, waan ku nacay. Waad fasaxantahay.
  2. ^^ That article is all over the place, saaxib. It's badly written and has no point at all (other than attacking Turkey for being Turkey). Not suprised the Kurds printed it though.
  3. Heh@ the mad people telling Alpha "caadi iska dhig".
  4. ^^ Torres is Chelsea's top scorer, saaxib. A goal in every two games is not a bad return you know.
  5. ^^ Heh. They're telling me I have lots of holidays left and I need to take some of them. So I decided to take tomorrow off.
  6. ^^ How did you know I'm taking the day off tomorrow warya? (you're on). I think reer UAE start their holiday tomorrow.
  7. BBC Ceefax, the world's first teletext service, has completed its final broadcast after 38 years on air. Before Olympic champion Dame Mary Peters turned off the last of the UK's analogue TV signals in Belfast, a series of graphics on Ceefax's front page disappeared down to a small dot. The Plain English Campaign earlier gave Ceefax a lifetime achievement award for "clarity" and use of "everyday words". And ex-Prime Minister Sir John Major said Ceefax would be "much missed". Sir John, who has previously revealed that he regularly checked Ceefax pages between Downing Street meetings to keep up to date with cricket scores, said: "Ceefax will be much missed. At moments of high pressure - with little time for detailed examination of the news - Ceefax headlines offered an instant window on the world. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-20032882 -------------------------------------------------------------- How many of you internet kids have heard of this?
  8. ^^ The hard work has not even started. Baby feeds are a breeze. If you get in at seven and don't sit down until nine; dee...eeen..een..eeen..xanta yaray.
  9. ^^^ Kettles and pots spring to mind (in more ways than one).
  10. ^^ He's doing great. I don't do nightly feeds anymore, I'm not as young as I used to be. He's happy and his mother is happy. p.s. It takes us all ages to sit down but I still get here before you.
  11. ^^ I bet she doesn't know. But now she'll pretend that she knows because you said she did, and she doesn't want to let you down. Juxa strikes me as more of a workaholic than Ibti (and Ibti is a machine). Workaholic can organise the entire world but they always forget to renew their passports.
  12. ^^ But first, lets all sit back and enjoy watching her panic for a bit. Horta does she have a valid passport?
  13. ^^ Go on.. (the one that reached my own house had something to do with a national campaign and a children's pictures.
  14. ^^ What short one? Are you talking about the picture above with the English guy? That's Jamal Osman (the guy that wrote the recent Guardian article about Somali journalists). Anyway..here are more Somalis: MEETING WITH Rashid Ali, Somali born Building Design Young Architect of the Year Award finalist, in East London’s Rich Mix centre, seems like a very appropriate setting for our conversation given both of our multi-cultural backgrounds and interests. Rashid has just completed designing and curating, Mogadishu – Forgotten Pasts & Distant Futures, an installation at Swiss Cottage Library which is a part of the British Council’s International architecture and Design Showcase 2012 for the London Festival of Architecture. 15. It seems that this thing has reached my own house!
  16. ^^ Where did you spend your last Eid? You're in for a bit of a shock if this is your first for a while.. Morning all.

  19. Xaaji, the real question is: can he set foot in Buuhoodle or will he be the first customer of his own ministry? (there is an Amin Amir cartoon dying to be drawn there).

  21. Firstly most members know I do not understand the appeal of clan, its neolithic. The idea of an educated Somali man degrading himself into being a slave of a backwards system is strange, in-fact I believe the concept of an independent minded Somali man deeply rooted in his culture while at the same time being a non-qabiilist is science-fiction.] :D (Carry on).
