  1. ^^ Oh you tease Fair enough. I'll let it go for now. I am sure we'll meet on another thread
  2. ^^ It's getting worse now. Not just gloomy and grey, it's also getting dark. Heh@Dahia's first advice (the second one sounds fun).
  3. Unemployement 7 % Transports 100 % Criminality 0 % Pollution 0 % Sounds like a great country

    Hah! Lily started a topic.
  6. This is exactly what happened to our friend Northerner. I have been trying to convince him to let go but he still refuses. You see, all his life, he has been in love with this round beauty and was always trying to spend all his time with her. Even his friends and family (and now I hear his wife) got sick of hearing about her. I even suspect that he talks about her in his sleep you know! Well, north still refuses to let go. He still dresses up on the days he goes to meet her. When they meet, he caresses her, plays with her, occasionally kisses her and sometimes kicks her! He still tells the world about her. In fact, he sometimes talks to complete strangers about her. Can you imagine! Somebody please tell him he's too old to play football.
  7. ^^ If I were talking to a Chinese man I would do it in Cantonese or Mandarin. If I was talking to a French person I would try French. With Oodweyne I have to employ the occasional bold font. It's like one of those tongue clicks the Bushmen of the Kalahari have in their language. Orod afka baro, adeer
  8. Leave Duke alone, North. He's a man who knows his duties. At this difficult time and as a mark of respect, he decided to stay away from SOL and, instead, keep a bedside vigil near a sick old man in Kenya.
  9. Oodweyne Glad tidings I bring, saaxib. I have survived reading your last post and can also proudly claim to have understood it, despite your cunning attempt to confuse me. However, I am afraid you are either missing the whole point or are trying to justify things by resorting to morality and fairness! I abhor spin. I can't stand propaganda. I dislike demagogical arguments. A war usually involves two sides. Both passionate about their own positions and moral justifications, both focused on using almost any mean to destroy the enemy and, both claiming to occupy the moral high ground! It is left to the impartial observer (you and I) to sift through the nonsense and see which of the sides is telling the truth (or at least the best part of the truth). Now, the article here implied that the new TFG PM is considering having talks with the opposition groups. It is possible of course that this is a lie and the man has no such plans. However, it is also possible that the opposite is true and, therefore, one (for the purposes of the discussion here) is forced to assume that the TFG PM intends to have these talks. For now, what these talks will entail is irrelevant. The success of such talks is immaterial. The refusal of the opposition/resistance groups to participate is unimportant. Only one thing is crucial here. It is the false argument that no talks will take place unless the Ethiopians leave! You may shake your head in disbelief, blow a raspberry or wonder if I'm a few mejins short of a jawan! But, I assure you that I am deadly serious here. I am even more serious and particularly disappointed when it comes to you. With some people, I operate on Auto Pilot when they forward certain arguments. With you, and when it comes to Somaliland, I have learned to take almost all you write there with a pinch of salt. You're an uncompromising patriot and, as such, most of your arguments are ruled by passion more than sense. However, whenever I see you talking about any other subject I usually pay extra attention and enjoy reading the arguments you're presenting. Now, you're a sensible man (other than when it comes to your first love). As a sensible man can you really not see the hopelessness of the argument 'no negotiation unless the Ethiopians leave first'? Is your hatred for 'the defeated lot' that strong that you can't even see a silly argument when it is put before you? I believe negotiation is the best option, TODAY. Neither side holds all the aces and both are conducting things on what seems to be a wing and a prayer! It is the time for bartering and bargaining. However, what I believe does not matter much here. What I don't believe does. I do not believe that if the Ethiopians leave, negotiations will take place! It looks like the opposition have set their stalls for a winner takes all climax. Yet, here they are spreading this unbelievable notion of negotiation after withdrawal! It is nonsense and should be questioned exactly in the same way you would question the dozens of nonsensical assertions the TFG makes every day. It's quite unlucky that your ethical scales are too rusty, saaxib. In this forum you see, the moral judgment should not really focus on what is taking place in Somalia but rather on how it is reported. When a half-truth is passed off as a lie one has to question it and crush it. Of course, with serial propagandists like Duke and company only a couple of refutations are necessary. After that it becomes silly to stalk them and keep telling them that what they're peddling is all lies. Now, are you ready to agree about the nonsensical nature of the opposition's argument (the one and only one I am picking on here) or do you have enough wind left in you to try sailing against the currents of common sense? Ps I got your Somaliland comparison the first time. You really didn't have to explain it again. It was a flimsy comparison then and still remains a flimsy one now. Moreover, it bore no relation to my argument in any way.

  12. ^^ We're only taking the horses to the water. Nobody can force them to drink.
  13. ^^ It's all about conditioning, you silly mare. We have seventeen years to make them like each other. What exactly is your problem with that? My young brother is still waiting to hear from you by the way. Ps Even Red Sea can't claim to have lost hope in Somalia when his silly thread ended up resulting in uniting two babies.
  14. ^^ It's too late for you. Last night, I read my boy a bedtime story about a lovely princess in Dubai. I think he's already in love.
  15. ^^ She looks even better in that clip that Rose posted. All chubby, fresh and young. Double xaaax
  16. Heh! Hang on a minute, I just want to feel up and get courage from something under my pillow before I join the fray. Aaah! That's better. Here is one glaring fact to trump all Baashi's other facts: Somaliland has decided to breakaway from Somalia and, as such, it feels no moral obligations to the plight of other Somalis should they happen to contradict the goals and plans of Somaliland. As a so called republic it feels comfortable with dealing with what it considers to be a friendly neighbour and opts to choose it over those it regards as a threat to its independence. Some Somalilanders (such as Gediid) abhor the actions of their administration but it is clearly obvious that theirs is simply a humanitarian view rather than a political one. Another fact: All those collaborating with Ethiopia are doing so for the benefits they stand to gain from such collaboration. Under the thumb, poodles or puppets are nothing but empty words thrown about out of frustration. They neither throw any light on the reasons why such people (and entities) act in the way they do nor do they deal with any potential pitfalls. Caaqil meedhan maraky meel oso yimadaan sheekadood way eska walata! Welcome to SOL's politics. Ps Behold the fire spitting guru (any minute now)
  17. ^^ Are you from that one clan he's talking about, inadeer? mese kii xuma Mr Riyaale bad wax eso tiheen?
  18. ^^ That sounds like a no to me! It's ok. We can easily keep sending your Mrs birthday gifts for the next fifteen years and win her over.

Now , what flag did you give her to take, somaliland? mise SOmalia? be honest, its been done before. Eesh calaa su'aal? No flag was taken as it wasnt required but the dress was chosen as the winning national dress  She's too young to take part in my lottery but, thankfully, this lion has some offspring. Make sure you look after her well. In fifteen years time I plan to come knocking on your front door. Faatixa?

^^^ Muaaaaah. You're so cute when you're WRONG His point was that he only heard of people PRAISING someone that died. The hint here is that this lady must really be GREAT if she got people to praise her whilst she's still alive. Just in case some passing angry girl (I am not naming names) missed his point, he did add the words 'they can't all be wrong, can they?' Now, young lady, admit that you were wrong and thank me for helping you out there. You win some, you lose some. ^5
