  1. STOIC, How well did YOU do in that game?
  2. ^^ Plead ignorance and she'll PM you. What more do you want? Arr kano eleen waa badow
  3. ^^ It is not YOUR job though. I'm sure the man and his friends can fight their own battles. If I told you that yesterday some policeman gave me dirty looks will you start writing a complaint letter to Sir Ian Blair? Choose your battles wisely, my dear.
  4. Just accept his apology you cold harridans and stop reading too much into his words.
  5. Cara, It's all wrong, unacceptable and down right patronising but it's one incident in some small African centre in the middle of nowhere. It really is not worth the half page that Ibti dedicated to it above. But, what do we know, we're just soft liberals with flowers in our hair.
  6. ^^ It's a natural reaction because it depends on instinct and the first thought that comes to one's mind. It is nothing to do with me being liberal (I am a conservative at heart believe it or not); it is more to do with the unhealthy habit of taking umbrage with every perceived slur. If you keep making excuses for it and allow it to spread it starts to become a habit and turns us all into a community of imbeciles.
  7. ^^ Coffee is not good for you, smelly students. Gives you wrinkles, woman. (Morning)
  8. Ibtisam is a militant and all her stories are about knee-jerk reactions to perceived slurs on Muslims or trivial slights. When my brother marries her I'm going to give him a karbaash as his wedding gift. Someone needs to beat some sense into her. ps This whole thing takes away from the fact that the Sheikh is a good man that does a lot of good work. Grrrrrrrrr..
  9. A&T, You are wasted on here, saaxib. Wasted I tell you.
  10. ^^ I am not agreeing or disagreeing with these rules, saaxib. I posted them so you know where this (in your eyes) sudden censorship came from. It's probably not even MMA that introduced that rule (as unpleasant as it is for me to defend him in any way, shape or form). These words were banned for months.
  11. Did you guys not look at the first thread in the politics section? The one with the title 'these individuals are banned'. As part of a large clean-up were are doing, the following individuals will not be allowed to have a voice on this site. We are serious about bringing civility back to the politics section. There is absolutely no room for name-calling, tribal-names and open personal attacks. We are not here to silence views or put a leash on anyone's political opinion. We are only trying to single out those individuals who come here to break the rules of SOL. Here are the main alarms: 1. Tribal names. 3. Name-calling (dhabbo-******, moryaann, etc). 4. Changing the spelling of censored names. (Defying the rules of SOL on purpose. It can't get much clearer than that.) 5. Personally insulting another nomad for his political views.
  12. Somalido waxay ku maahmaahdaa: Kenda karibu na kumi I have my sources nooh
  13. It is a reminder indeed but it is done in such a devious way that it deserves to be put down and scoffed at. Intentions alone are not enough. Either do it right or don't do it at all. If a person is thick enough to accept advice from a corpse they are dim enough to believe and fall for all sorts of other fantasies. I don't approve of this sort of nonsense and I'm airing my views here. If you want to see a beautiful reminder that is neither patronising nor boring, go read what Kashafa wrote in the ennui.
  14. Reminds me of the story of the pimp that decided to repaint the brothel so he can attract new customers. What he refused to acknowledge was the fact that his prostitutes were all disease-ridden. Stuff and nonsense.
  15. ^^ They work for the brain dead, saaxib. Bloody corpse reminding them to pray!
  16. ^^ We are scared of the ugly baby, saaxib.

War marry the daughter and get it over with. Badow fooqal badow.
  18. Rijaaluhaa = Ragiida However, since the lady in question had the word GIRL as part of her name I (foolishly it seems) assumed you would understand what I meant by Rijaaluha.
  19. Heh@FF What exactly did I do to him that he didn't do to himself with his various misunderstandings? CL, Can you access the chat room?
  20. FF, Are you insulting little girls there you sexist? Heh@A&T Rijaaluha was used to indicate that she's tough, saaxib. I didn't know you'll misunderstand it. Plus, did you not see me propose to her in that thread? Hmmmmm! Warya, wasakh bad tahay. CL, They can't get in, silly.
