  1. nOrf, mind you we have a whole week to train/prepare for manYoo, on the other hand they have to play CL midweek, This means they wont rest their first 11 players. I think there is tension in the red devils camp. Wenger looses his coolness with the press Wenger said: "How is Fabregas? I don't know. We will have to assess him tomorrow. But it was a bad tackle, one more. "He got tackled at the knee, kicked just under the knee. We tried to take him off but he said he was all right. Am I suggesting there were a lot of bad tackles? Leave me alone with that, for f***'s sake. "You are always looking for controversy, you do not need me to tell you what happened on the pitch. I can give you my opinion about our game but you always create this controversy." I think Arsenal are still in the title chase, it ain't over until the last minute.
  2. Well done Almunia, the money will be wired to your account shortly! This makes next week all more interesting, After the Blackburn game alot of heads went down, but the results against Pompey and Villa have got the troops buzzing again. We're hitting form at the right time, but then again, form counts for nothing in these games. Well done Frank Lampard With his 4 goals yesterday against Aston Villa, Frank Lampard stormed into the top 10 of the All-time Premier League Top Scorers list and his the only midfield player in the entire top 15. Amazing how consistently productive he is.No matter what type of midfield role you're playing, 20+ goals for 5 straight seasons (Ngonge was right this time) is a brilliant achievement. Most strikers would be proud of these statistics, In many ways he's been just as attacking as Le Tissier or Peter Bearsley. no wonder he shits on Gerrard. Fantastic achievement from a midfield player. Absolutely class. Bring it on ManYoo..
  3. LoZ, I have a funny feeling that you will WIN against Birmingham tonight. We have 4 home games and 3 away game while Arsenal and United have 3 home games and 4 away games. That is a positive look on the remaining fixtures. Think after the Villa and United game we can realistically win the rest of our remaining fixtures (no doubt won't be easy against spurs) but think Villa and United will be our biggest test.
  4. Nuune, Don't give LoZ high hopes he knows the chances are very slim. oh and I will volunteer to be your lawyer when Legend looses both legs. LOL After seeing Messi single handedly tear Zaragoza to shreds, I really don't feel the GOONS winning this one, mind you YAYA toure spoke and made sure Fabregas will be kept quite both legs. The question that stands is...Are the students ready to beat the masters???? This match will (ma bad legend) decide whether Fabregas will stay at emirates or not.
  5. Lol...LoZ, He strikes me as a player who will say what he thinks, unlike most robotic players in the premier these days.Though if he really did say that,i think he should've kept it to himself. However, it is not the time or place to be making what can only be viewed as inflammatory comments. Once again, whether he meant them to be inflammatory or not, is neither here nor there, as he should not be making them in the first place. thou the proof will come at the end of the season if he is right or wrong. I suspect he might be right.

The guys been good for six months but the David Villa's, Eto's & Drogba's have shown season after season they deserve the title of best striker's in the world they all know they're game inside out. By the sounds of things Wayne only learned to head the ball last summer he's still learning if he keeps this consistency up for a few more seasons then & only then can he be regarded as one of the best striker's in the world. People can say he's proved he scores in the big games because of his brace at the San Siro the other day. Milan currently have a shocking back line probably the worst they've had in the past 50 years his first goal was good although Nesta 5 years ago would have easily headed it away but the second was just gift wrapped. This proves nothing, Milan maybe alongside Juve are clearly one of the major european clubs in a downward spiral against the Madrid's Barca's & Lyon's are where he'll really be proven. PS: Don't get me wrong Shrek is a Great player.
  8. ^^Hello Val. Somalicentric, is that Ali kiba's new song? also now that I know your sign am gonna get my gear and start my journey towards V.

    Rooney

Rooney has been fantastic these last 6 - 7 months, and just lately he's heading the ball superbly to make him appear a complete striker. But he's only been in this form this season, and he needs to do it consistently for a couple of years in order to be ranked with the likes of Drogba. Tuujiye, it's the world cup fever.

OZ how do you like our boy Malouda? lool the guy is getting better and better every game... is good to have Cech back too.... Wareer Badanaa!!! I don't know what went on with Malouda, I think he was guarding himself, Sturridge should have been off though. Other than that it was superb WIN. It was the luck we needed I guess - first half Pompey looked up for a fight (unfortunately the elbows made it a reality) but second half they just lost all hope. Btw what an awful pitch I enjoyed Citeh being whooped by Everton. boy o boy a scuffle between Moyes and Mancini was hell o fan, both were sent down the tunnel. Super Pavlyuchenko he starting to show mobility and nice touches/skills of goal scoring.

You can't be serious cuz. the article was a hoax. it was initially published after Bendtner, Gibbs and RvP got injured. he talked about how 12 players were out. The article added how we sold two and bought one. if it was now he would have said we sold two and bought two, won't you think? It was on today's Sun (UK) LoZ, You don't visit sports websites do you?I think he's right they won't WIN the league, whether or not he should come out and say so is something else entirely. I remember last time he was giving this kind of interview he was mumbling on how he wished the Arsenal crowd were noisy and passionate like the Chelsea/ManYoo/Liverpool crowd...I guess he doesn't like endearing himself to the fans and the club? Seems a bit too disruptive for my liking. PS: Is this something to do with his WAGES?
  12. Today's fixtures: Mar 24 19:45 UK Manchester City v Everton City of Manchester Stadium Mar 24 19:45 UK Aston Villa v Sunderland Villa Park Mar 24 19:45 UK Portsmouth v Chelsea Fratton Park Mar 24 20:00 UK Blackburn Rovers v Birmingham Ewood Park
  13. ^^Deal ....Also Appeal dismissed for Vermaelen Birmingham have the sort of game that can cause you'z all sorts of problems and at home they’ve taken a point off United and us. Benitez & Jerome will be the players most likely to cause you some discomfort as they play well together with the latter hitting a rich vein of form. Unfortunately Silvestre and Sol will be the probable pairing at CB on the weekend. One suspects that Sol will be rested for the Barcelona game. I can't see Campbell stopping messi, xavi, toure, inesta from scoring. PS: Arshavin said: "I am still of the opinion that to win trophies Arsenal needs more players.
  14. Resistance if you go back on page 46 you'd have come across the fixtures I printed of chelsea vs manyoo...so this one was for Arsenal. All the top three teams have difficult fixtures.

^^ You only come to this end to have a go with Ngonge.

    Lionel Mess

I will say however that I think Messi is on course to become the best of his generation, simply because his continued to improve from his natural raw talent at such a young age and he could well retain his WPOTY this year if he continues his form and performance for Barca and win titles, and his only 22. Messi has to lead his country to win the World Cup to be considered near Maradona. Originally posted by Dhagax-Tuur: I have been proven right. Messi is in league with Zidane. its just near impossible to compare the 2 because they are just in completely different circumstances and time. For example I consider Ronaldo of Brazil the best of his generation, now can u compare that to Pele or Maradona? Its impossible because although he's the top ever WC goal scorer and almost single handedly won the 2002 for Brazil, his a striker and under very different circumstances...
  19. You have internal problems!first do change that.

  21. Arsenal's 7 remaining fixtures; Birmingham (a) Wolves (h) Tottenham (a) Wigan (a) Man City (h) Blackburn Rovers (a) Fulham (h) Is this an easy RUN? Quote Me on this at the end of the season mate...Arsenal 3rd..
  22. Originally posted by Legend of Zu: The problem is not only getting Lampard's replacement but also strikers and wingers. Other than that you are spot on. I didn't say replace him, get a younger midfielder to help out with the running and also rest him at times.
  23. I just don't know what's happened to Liverpool's ball control, I think they've been taking lessons from Kuyt, neither Gerrard or Torres could trap a dead mouse. Gerrard was woeful and Torres was atrocious after around the 20 minute mark. That ManYoo team were there for the taking, as bad as Liverpool were, there was still some glorious chances missed to equalise. There was nothing doing off the bench, Rafa was powerless to change the course of the match. He was tactically outwitted by a tactical incompetent like Ferguson, Forget the ref or the Thursdays game, it can all be summed up by one phrase, 'Not good enough'. I think it's bye bye 4th position after that unfortunately. Well done howard Webb. LOL
  24. Abramovich and the managerial team at Chelsea have to act and they have to act fast.Fresh legs are needed in the summer, In the first half of the season, Chelsea looked like they had answered all the doubts about the ageing team, funnily enough though from late January onwards, the doubts which began to set in at the same time last year (when Chelsea drew at home to Hull and were then pasted by United in the next game) have returned regarding the average age of our squad. The LAST thing i would do is offer Ballack a new deal, even on half the wages, Chelsea need a younger player or 2 now in midfield, mainly to rest and rotate Lampard, if he keeps playing every game from now till 18 months time in the future, he will be knackered and finished in 18 months, he needs younger legs in the midfield to help him through this phase of his career, look at Scholes at United, rested and used sensibly by Ferguson, Lampard might have talent but asking a 32 year old next season to play potentially 65 games a season is a lot, someone similar and younger to Lampard, Hamsik from Napoli perhaps?? is needed to rest and rotate his workload. Chelsea have to act fast and do it now, if they wait too long, they will get to a situation where all the players leave the club and retire all at once , the nightmare scenario at any club. The rebuilding phase will have to be done piece by piece. say 2 or 3 players a season over the next 3 years. I understand the rebuilding wont come cheap and Abramovich will have to dig into his pockets quite a bit. I agree the title race is not in our hands, thou I'd hate to admit that ManYoo could Grrrr .
  25. I know Torres is starting to get up to full fitness but Gerrard passing and touch lately has been crap , you might get away with it against Pompey and Lille but a trip to old trafford will need every player playing at there best to get anything and Liverpool are a long way from that . Insua is going to get a roasting from Valencia, his in the form of his life while Lpool defense creaks, wobbles and crumbles when put under the slightest bit of pressure. If I see Torres, Babel, Aquilani & Gerrard in the starting line up I might start to get a bit of hope , a win is a must if they want fourth , lose here today and you are out of the race for fourth. Win this for Chelseafc
