What I wanted from Ancelloti was what most coaches do on the line, They persuade/motivate the players, change tactics or change the line up if necessary etc.. Am not saying that he should be replaced but he didn't do much when the game was on. PS: I admire your optimism there mate but to be honest I think there is no point in having a discussion with you if you are supporting two teams, its hard living in the shadow.

War.. I know they are different when it comes to coaching, but that was not what I said: I know its always harsh on a manager to compare him to Jose, but that day you saw the special one constantly barking instructions to his players, who seemed completely fired up and ready to put their bodies on the line for him. With every opportunity he was ordering players to the touchline, relaying tactical shifts and alterations, and for me he proved he really is a class above, masterminding a really impressive inter victory. On the line one showed he really wanted it so bad, while the other stood there with his sad face. AT&T, lately you've been telling everyone how bad there analysis are, I still don't understand your agenda. Lets discuss, gimme something concrete rather than a list. Firstly, what team do you support in the PL? I have a problem with people who are neutral.
  7. ^^Loz, LOL what are you on about? In this case your sister stood firmly on her feet and addressed the guy about her Islamic values and cultural needs. That's how it should be done, but majority do go for material stuff. .....oh and I do strongly think Barcelona are absolute top favorites now to win the CL for me.They made Stuttgart look like a "Mickey Mouse" team, which they aren't really and didn't even play at their best it seemed. I tip them to be the first team to win the CL twice in a row.

I do think alot of question marks should be raised about Ancelloti. Felt like Avram Grant all over again to me, he just stood their utterly lifeless throughout the game, no effort to cajole/persuade the players and try and give them that extra push that could've been the difference in a really tight game. I know its always harsh on a manager to compare him to Jose, but that day you saw the special one constantly barking instructions to his players, who seemed completely fired up and ready to put their bodies on the line for him. With every opportunity he was ordering players to the touchline, relaying tactical shifts and alterations, and for me he proved he really is a class above, masterminding a really impressive inter victory. Ancellotti looked short of ideas in my opinion, he didn't even react to the Drogba red card and he just seemed to be feebly turning to Wilkins throughout the game. Ancellotti has always struck me as a lucky gaffer, istanbul aside, and the one trophy that he seemed to have an affiliation with alluded him yesterday, partly down to some inept managing from him and a dab of Mourinho magic. If Abramaovich was watching this clash, he should be feeling sick not only with the defeat and another year without the one trophy his money cant buy him, but with the fact yesterday rammed home how truly awful a decision it was to allow the special one to leave Stamford bridge. Honestly...

My thoughts: Jose just hit the nail on the head! when asked whether his tactics were superior: "Everything was superior, the attitudes on the pitch, everything" One of the key reasons we lost was the physical game we didn't have it going for us, we were up against professional actor Motta and a defense of big experienced players like Lucio and Samuel. Zhirkov, first 15 minutes thought he was either going to get sent off eventually or make a fatal mistake but made some great tackles/blocks so am pleased. Sneijder, quality player! £13M looks like a steal now and shocked no PL teams were in for him. Mourinho, greatest respect to see the way he dealt with this fixture. Great tactics to keep Drogba and Lampard quiet (not so good for us) really kills our game when they're kept quiet, and the only threat we had that was coming from Malouda he stopped it at the start of second half. Ancelotti should know diamond doesn't suit Chelsea! We don't have a player like Kaka at the tip of it and it just means Lampard does less for the team. Have to play the best formation for the players you have got. He just stood their like a zombie when eto scored. Verdict, Inter were the better team over the two legs even with our PK shouts. Rather go out like this than last year when we were robbed of 4 PKs just to have a heart breaking 90th minute goal scored against us. Have to go all out for the domestic double now! Knew this was awful fixture to get! Summer need to invest! Aguero, Balotelli, Mata/Silva and Rodwell are all players we are capable of getting and could drastically change the look of our team and average age. When will a champions league campaign not end badly for Drogba?

The battle is ON! Inter are not paying him 11 million euros after tax just to win the league, they can do that all the time, but they cannot seem to get past the last-16 in the Champions League, and that's why they hired Jose Mourinho.

^^ LOL, If Raamsade is a True blue, that's fine by me.. Tuujiye don't mix sports with politics. Chelsea fans on SOL are: Tuujiye Mr Somalia Oz Raamsade We need to find out how many SOL ladies support Chelsea. I know that Ibti supports GOONZ.

Wareer Badanaa!!! I agree.
  21. LOZ, If Goonz can win every game left and draw two out of those games against Man City (h), Spurs (a) and Birmingham (a) then you have a big chance, Which I hardly see- its easy to say when you know its never going to happen. You need to win one of the three I just mentioned, and not lose one and draw two. If that makes any sense. I watch ESPN Soccernet press pass from time to time. They seriously talk about the PL title race being between Chelsea and Man U. They only still refer to Arsenal as contenders in between breaths. I don't know if anyone else knows of Tommy Smyth on ESPN. A baboon of the highest order and knows very little but in this case I respect his views. if anything about the game of football. Shaka Hislop is not far behind. I do however like Robbie Earle.
  22. Originally posted by NGONGE: Of course, the BEST player in the world has been and shall always remain Stevie G (Torres coming a close second). P.S. I rate Fat Frank higher than Messi. Funniest reply ever! Messi - The lad is a genius. I don't usually buy the hype with players these days, but he is special and still only 22 for crying out loud. Messi has my vote again and again. Without even watching Spanish football that much, I catch the odd game here and there, but I'm telling you now every time I have seen Barca and Messi has played, he has been superb and generally scores a wonder goal or two, his hattrick last night was superb. Originally posted by NGONGE: Ronaldo is a great player but he did play for United and had an entire team geared towards getting the best out of him. In addition, he can't be compared to Rooney because they don't even play in the same position. Each to their own if you ask me, some players are suited to certain positions, some aren't. Ian Rush was one of the greatest goalscorers the English game has ever seen, he went to Italy and couldn't score in a brothel.
  23. LOL Tuujiye and NG, if we had a list you'd be at the bottom of the list just for rating Lucas so high. I will agree with Lucio(imo)is the best defender at the moment the reason simply is, when he combines strength, pace and technique he is unstoppable. He has everything a defender needs to have. Keepers Hats off to Julio Cesar might have the edge here along with Van Der Sar and iker Casillas.

LOZ, Lately, you have been concerned about Chelsea fc, I appreciate your concern and will take that on board. I asure you I'll email mr anceloti for this latest innuendo. Well Inter are coming of a 3-1 loss to Catania, so they will be down after that match. Just hope Turnbull can cope with Milito, Eto'o and co. He wasn't really tested on Saturday and Inter definitely will manage to create one or two good chances. Interested to see if Mourinho will try and park the bus and go for the counter or set up similar to the first leg. Essien, Cech and Cole will definitely be missed
  25. ^^ fully agree with everything there.. btw nuune how is everything going sxb. AT&T, What's all this about?
