  2. Ok, Y'all are making me hungry thinking about somali food. But I think that Hamdi is the best in T.O. I like xamarwayne's desserts, especially the coconut one!

  4. lol@semi-men I smell a new word in my vocab.
  5. ah ohhhh Ngonge, You typed TWO smiley faces, you must be flirting.
  6. I am proud that I am an individual, who can freely think for herself, and have had the benefit of going to different countries and experiencing different cultures without being close-minded. Yeah, and I am proud of my mom for more reasons than one.
  7. Originally posted by Khayr: If this ain't flirting, then I'm just a young school boy who's never talked to any women in his life. You don't make any sense. But I really do think you are suffering from sexual frustration. It could do that to a person sometimes
  8. ^ For some people it is harder to live with.
  9. Qac Qac and Mansoor, I feel sorry for you guys *lol* sooo sorry *lol* Hope you make it out here with your narrow-mindedness. Yeah, drag a complete stranger by the hair like you are back in badiyo. Wish ya all the luck  Shoobaro, Apology accepted.
  10. The worst job was at cinnabon. After you find out all the junk they put in their cinnamon buns, you are going to be so turned off. And they gave their employees two cinnamon buns for free after their shift. I didn't last more than two days, and gained maybe 5 pounds.
  11. **looking at Ngonge suspiciously** You seem too fimiliar with the female undergarment industry.
  12. UD, I like how you always try to get the last word in. alright, I'll give it to you.
  13. ^ It's good to have you back. But, ah, who's watching your wifey n baby?
  14. Good one. 1. I don't start fights (I fuel them). This is just a discussion, at least to me it is. 2. I was giving an example when I said I am not weak for speaking my piece. I don't whine. I don't complain. However, I am known to accuse. I am secure with myself thank you very much, and I don't like PEOPLE who make it seem like I have issues with the world. I do, however, despise some MALE SOLERS who continue to make derogatory comments and I loooove to point them out. 3. If I were you, I would get my ears examined
  15. My gosh, some people are so reer badiyo. People who go to clubs do not neccessarily go there to have sex.
  16. Originally posted by underdog: Time and again we've heard all the accusations of "Some" men going on here, you gals sound like broken records. Can someone PLEASE suggest some solutions? I don't think men can change without women changing first. Let me see if i can help you guys out. Let's get something along the lines of: - In order to ensure more equality between Somali brothers and sisters we should.......... - Instead of blaming our failures on our spouses we would be better of if we...... - If I use my ......skills to compliment my brother's ......skills we can work towards...... HOWEVER should you choose to take the easy way out and prove correct the stereotype that all women do is whine and complain then expect no changes cause we're getting better at tuning you out completely. This is getting old and dusty. Where are the brave strong women who fighting for a chance to lead us to better things? If anyone see em, let me know Underdog, maybe the reason we sound like a broken record is because guys repeat their behaviour. Suggesting that women change first would mean that we were doing something wrong all along to be suppressed by the male species (which they do, REPEATEDLY and in many direct and indirect ways kinda like what you just said ). In any case, it does not make me a weak women to say what I feel (without people like you saying I am weak, whiney and complaining all the time). That just means you weren't listening the first time.
  17. Originally posted by SHOOBARO: i gonna run into chicks like DA n OG gal that wanna get their FREAKY LEAK on with guys that say DONT WORRY AM NOT SOMALI [/b] Excuse me, stop with the slander. You don't know me or whether I get "freaky leak" with guys (if your going to use slang please KNOW HOW TO USE 'EM CORRECTLY). I don't appreciate the fact that you are calling me a H0, 'k?
  18. According to Jesse Jackson, churches have been preaching this for a long time. And this is not the first time African-Americans have heard this. The only difference is, this spiel was picked up by the networks. So imagine the disdain of the community, when they are scolded by their own on CNN. Another thing, there is NOTHING wrong with what he said. I live in detroit, and have heard about what the highschools are like for my friends and it is not pretty. But who is responsible for it? Partly by the parents....and the TEACHERS. Trust me, the teachers don't really care here, why is that? because they dont get PAID enough. you see where this is going.... inner cities are being disenfranchised in more ways that we can't imagine. On top of that you got kids raising kids. That's just recipe for disaster.
  19. Originally posted by raula: Subxanallah DA -I think you just generalized our religion as being Misogynistic and manipulative to many women (I dont confer with you on this!). Actually, I said " the manipulation of our great religion". And what I meant by that is, men manipulate the religion to have control over women. If you say that's not true, I will not dispute. I did my research however. And It seems you took my post harshly, which was not the case at all. Just adding to the discussion.
  20. Originally posted by Khayr: Girl, you are Turnnnnning me ONNNNNNN! Its hotttttttt in here!!! Somebody grap me some ice, pleasssssssse! You got stalkers, and you don't like Somali guys, well then my name is Andre 'Full Lips' Moore and I'm an Investment Banker and love to write poetry.Oh and did I mention that Sherman Moore from Y & R is my brother. How you like that Truthfully though, you need to meet a faraax who can spark your imagination and make you think that he is 'B.E.T.' or Harliquin material with his sweet words and gestures. Too bad you are Anti-Islam, cause I could have give you some 'Tutoring sessions' and trust me, your GPA would RISE dramatically [/QB] 1. Shemar moore is FUGLY. 2. What happened to you? You a part-time shiekh now? Do you have a beard-by-day, gigolo-by-night complex? 3. You are f* weird. You tell me I am anti-islamic and then in the same sentense, you want to give me "tutorring session". Stop it with your disgusting sexual references before I have the admins on this, 'k?
  21. Congratulations Ngonge for your daddy-hood. And GOOOD LUCK! Your going to need it Name suggestion: Kamal
  22. Ok Somali Sujui... I think you are lying. What guy doesn't know about victoria's secret? If you don't truly know about V.S., then you got a true gold-digger as a love!!
  23. Curly-Sue, I agree this subject is tired. But honey, the truth need to be said, over and over until some numbskulls (talking about how weak Eve is) get the point. If you don't want to do it, that's fine. I'll have that honour. **putting on her armour** .....IF I was man I would create organazation called " men's human rights" cos they r who need to fight for equality with women Og-girl, I don't know if you recall, but a while back the men were screaming for a men's section in the forum. We must be doing something right I was referring to General women's rights that SOME(and I say SOME) women in this world do not enjoy due to all reasons ranging from 'patriachial' customes, traditions, ignorance, and some religious fallacies and attitudes that still prevail to this day. Do you mean to tell me that there are ALOT of women who do enjoy mysogynistic traditions and customs and manipulation of our great religion? I think some just don't question it (rightly so) and some don't care. think twice about what you say if you're talking to a woman. another prime example that we are doing something right. Aeryn, hm....You know I wouldn't mess with the enemy
