  1. Norf there are already two- Abu= I have yet to see the father/husband. Maybe he is a ghost. plus she will come and start a fight- maxa ninkey ku geeyeh ma adiga ayaa raaba. Somali women take certain things seriously. I've decided to let it be- will be nice to the kids when I see them.
  2. ^^^^The DJ foreign Ministry? To be honest donors dont know what they are doing- most of the time these projects are just facades and it benefits a few people for a while without any overall benefit for all. The whole idea of wider community is still missing. We are still at the me, me, me stage.
  3. Abu your intention has been set for long before I even thought of moving here!!! lol The lady with the lots of kids has huge khat cart in her garden- I didnt realise what it was for until I heard her bargaining with an Ethiopian man to get the honey out for her- seems like she caught a Queen bee and it harvest honey for her. I also found out that her husband trades in cars, she has two guards and a garden man- she grows everything and sales it to different markets. I found this out all at 2am the other night as guys haggled with her for papaya, melon and oranges as well as the honey. Interest and clearly hard working. She is also very proud of her husband- never seen someone say my husband so much. lol So lots of opportunities even at a house garden level.
  4. Reading the comments I was expecting something else. Even if I close one eye and squint with the other it looks nothing like Niiko- it is just farah's doing the marching/ jogging man as usual- I hate that. Horrible dancing - if it can be called dancing that is!!! Only people with dirty mind and hidden tendencies would find this dirty dancing, Normality points to it being the typical doing the jogging man combined with Arab shoulder twitch to French music.
  5. Lol So many thoughts popped into my head- but none of them are fit for public airing. Each to their own. Che lol that was one of my thoughts-
  6. Abu I think you might be right I have not eaten anything with seeds, no whole grains, salads waan ka wiswisa anywhere but home. Lol @ Ciid mirrored my life; full of promises and potential yet deeply unsatisfying! That is a bad feeling to have dearest. Snap out of it. Eid is for the kids to enjoy and for the adults to show love and share whatever they have (life is not so different either I guess). Stop over planning and reach for those potential- next Ciid yaaney ku so nooqonin adiga oo halkii faadiya. JB it is not always about money. I have been offered jobs with ridiculousness pay, but I've turned down and take lesser paid ones. clear conscious and happiness cannot have a monetary value.

    Lol Apop. It always happens.

    LIfe!

He ha done of these moments: *carefully constructs a life plan* *life appears, takes one look at the said plan, roars with laugher and shakes head ruefully* "Silly woman, you do not tell me what to do, I tell you what to do" *recalls a saying about 'best laid plans'* SIGH Happens to me all the time.
  9. Jamal is a mad kid, he has even less chance of winning even if Faisal lets him run. Faisal has no respect for law, is very clannish and will sell everybody and everything for power and a chance at the seat- which like his Ucid seat he will want to hold hostage and will need to be bribed to even think about leaving after his term. HE should've added hypocrisy nature of some like himself.
  10. Faheema- Im still eating/ Strange thing is chocolate makes me tired. So I have been eating, sleeping, eating, I have done no work for two days- when I switch the computer on, my brain is dead and I end up watching a film! lol Suuraaf buu iga digey. Drugs iin yaar buu ka sookeya. Juxa pack dee- u have a few hrs before Xamar taafta kugu degto Next year I want to go Hajji- I say that every year, but I am going to try very hard for the coming one inshallah.
  11. lol @ 40yr olf Somali farahs watching Madagasgar 3 Malika : know Ngonge Faheema is a good friend. I am going to be big as a house as Juxa is on her way with joonyo xamari xalwo too.

    wow

In all my time alone- I never seen a beautiful Farah's thread by females or males, yet it has become normal and accepted for these kind of threads. Even more prominent is people posting pictures from private blogs and profile pictures and adding them to youtube and FB pages all under the same headings of "Admiring quxuad dumark Somaliada" or similar headings. uuuf
  13. How was everyones Eid then. I have eaten so much chocolates * faheema sent me a whole suitcase* for the last three days, my teeth are going to pay for all that sugar. Subxanallah never eat so much chocolates in one go. Been high and low lol. Chocolates sure is drugs.
  14. Maaddeey waxaba uumaan dhiibaan for them to halleeyeen. You know Max stories do resemble some of the usual real life babble- ii missan aragey some xalimo ka dhaba niice leh some married farah. Makes my hand itch to slap the silly out of them. But hey, live and let live.
  15. So all the boys in SOl are attention seekers. right, must be an ego thing.
  16. labellavida;883639 wrote: Ibtisam , that's really harsh don't you think? He is still in his 20s (which makes him young to me) and he's very good looking and tall. Plus, we have a lot of great conversations together. * No, that is not harsh, being harsh would be me saying; stop being a family wrecking ho*e, but I didn't. plus your reasoning is shallow- he is good looking and tall (so are so many people) and as great conversations (you can have great conversations with strangers and friends alike, does not mean you jump into bed with them or marry them- after you finish your convo, you keep it moving). Anyway when you are a big fat whale just like his wife, I will come and chat him up and ensure he leaves you before introducing him to pains he can never imagine. How about that for a deal. P.s. You can't ask people what do you think of this (story) and then force us all to agree with you or re-enforce your ideas.
  17. Raamsade;883555 wrote: Bal eega gardarradan kas iyo maaga ah! What makes a married Faarax a loser? As a 3 naagoodle, let me assure you that married Faaraxs are true salt of the earth. I used to be 4 naagoodle till I divorced my 4th wife, the ugly one, for domestic abuse. Like that Somali maahmaah, the uglier the she donkey the nastier the kick, she had this nasty habit of kicking me in her sleep. She claimed she was unaware but I think the qumiyada was doing it on purpose. One night she kicked me so hard that I fell off the bed. That is when I said enough and is enough and I called the police telling them this qumayo beat me up. Since then I had tons of barely legal Xalimos throwing themselves at me not only because I'm smashingly handsome with deep pockets and sport a wicked swag as I sashay about my ways in town but also because I'm already taken. Women/girls are attracted to married men for same reason they're attracted to bad boys - the thrill or the chase. Laballavida, you're 19 and not married yet? What are you waiting for? If you're not married by 16 you're old. Actually you're worse than old, you're what Somalis call Guumeys go ask your elders if you don't know what that means. I suggest you accept this dude's overtures right away and get married before it is too late or if you're gonna do the dirty deed do it safely. Looool!!!! Dearest as a bold, beer belly, chipped toothed farah, I can see how you are a four timing saint. It must be all that money eh. Loool you are funny. lol it might be your humor.
  18. Interesting developments. I hope he is well and coping where ever he is.
  19. ^HE is probably doing some research on how lose Somali xalimos have become and will use these posts as advice from the Somali community who are equally as lost in culture and deen. Poster: of all my post, you only picked up on the gay part? so is he gay????. And read again- I didn't say all gay man are cross dressers- In any case, on second though, and based on your other threads, I have any idea which will help you and this forum. Nariah, labellavida and the two master copies wa iney isku qooq baxaan. It is part of the growing up of one person really. It is time for a confession thread.
  20. Juxa. His next offer is going to be do you want my big a*ss bed- it's free for you. lol They are too far gone for waxaan aad sheegesid. Married men are just silly running around still hitting on other women.
  21. Lol Yiiiiks, Looserad as my friend likes to say. Akhas all that calcal for a married loser farah. iiiish yaa kab kula dhac. At 19, what are you even doing running in the same circles as old washed married dudes. The world is full of young beautiful single males- find one. Better yet concentrate on something other then men. My edo would tell you waad qooadey- leave the married loser alone and find an outlet for your qooqin.
  22. ^^^ superficial pleasantries and professional talk with people you live with? err living with strangers soon becomes a strange marriage where you share the dishes and cooking and noise- only thing missing is fighting about who picks up the kids from school. Poster: You said a male friend- how friendly are you willing to be with the male friend for free rent? The world is give and take- if he is giving you a free house to live in WITH him (I have been given free houses to live in for short whiles in various countries by male friends who lived else where or countries) but this friend wants you to live with him- he is expecting something back. Even you can figure that out- naaga dhaa just say you want the house and what ever else that comes with it if not then learn to pay for your way. P.s. I hope it is not the married man P.s.s. You have some interesting "friends" P.s.s.s. IF he is gay then what I said above is wrong, he wants your shoes and dresses, but living with a gay man will have its own challenges.
  23. Loool miskiin. Oh well at least you was not asleep and it crawled into you mouth/ nose. The average persons swallows 6 spiders a year. :PYep.
  24. Adam that is one ugly thing. Juxa- work meeting. YEah Somali Week is a lot of work.
