1. ooh well, the never ending quest for the nostalgic yesteryears by those who slaughtered the somalilanders. All these whetha you call awdalites or khatumites are nothing more than 1 %....99% rules and you had as much fairness as anyone else and even more.No one raised a finger when Riyale stole the presidency from Silanyo by 80 forged votes, reason being that he's from awdal and untouchable for political correctness.Besides awdalites are the only group who continuously had the vice presidency except the 8yrs their son Riyale was president who didn't bother to build a single hut and amassed wealth,, compare that to Silanyo and what he accomplished the first 3yrs.They have more than their share, they not even 10,000 and if you don't believe buy your ticket and see for yourself.Exagerations and false projections will soon end when reality hits hard. The tired and repetitive articles on how the northerners had power in the defunct Somalia is nothing but the latest propaganda machine by some who embarked on desperate missions to score points. the Somali drama hasn't come to conclusion yet and the fairness you looking for will ultimately resurface when you come to grips with on how much you owe, that might be too painful to acknowledge. Awdal is large mostly barren land that you do not own with the exception of Borama and vincinity. For starters either go there and see for urslf on who owns what or keep going with the mudslinging. Why SNM created? good question, to turn you from the gun trotting macho aggressor ,spraying bullets on innocent people to the poor pen trotting foreva complaining living with guilt, transforming himself as the downtrodden.Justice is only accomplished when you'r strong enough to withstand the evil...and that was SNM.
2. burahadeer Nomad 3,237 puntlanders outmaneuvered the Hags, every prime minister is told to create problem which puts the president in difficult position. The donors can’t accept if he fires every PM and would have no power if he doesn’t.Basicaly what puntland wants is to either usurp the power thru the PM or else tell the world the president is messing up if he refuses to go along with their game which then will lead to cutting off int’l funds to Mogadishu and the return of mayhem to all down south. The only muscle puntland capable of doing....foreign forces, foreign pressure. Very clever….reminds me of the jewish lobby.

5. Warya tallabo these guys are delusional and the only thing they feel the same way about is Somaliland because they want to forget their intractable problems briefly and are jealous of everything we accomplished and embarrassed by it,their muscle and head in their mouth.Denying and lying about history, corruption and treachery is a southern phenomena, that's why they destroyed Somalia and couldn't be somebody last 24yrs except being under the boots of foreign armies. They won't and can't discuss with you in earnest as they have nothing to show for, thus turning every debate into curses, insults and lies....frustration turned to belligerence and nonesenical. They don't care about Somalis in light of the atrocities committed there...its only scratching your face tactics they can come up with. better leave thm entertain thmslvs in the wilderness and have sigh of fictitional relief for few minutes.

13. Married for seven years, woman discovers husband is her brother! By Supriya Jha | Last Updated: Thursday, August 7, 2014 - 20:04 Zee Media Bureau/Supriya Jha Sao Paulo: In a strange twist of fate, a woman who wanted to find her mother, ended up learning a weird truth – that she also had a brother and that he was none other than the man whom she was married to. The uncomfortable revelation for the couple – Adriana, 39 and Leandro, 37 came on a Brazilian radio station named Globo radio that specialises in finding lost relatives. Adriana and Leandro are now married for last seven years and they have a six-year old daughter. “What would you do? Woman finds mother after 40 years and finds that he is married to his brother,” reads a tweet by the Globo Radio. In another tweet, the Globo radio informs that despite being struck with the revelation, both siblings have decided to continue their marriage. After the revelation, the couple declared that only death can separate them. "All this happened because God wanted," a Globo radio news report cites Adriana as saying. Adriana, who is a cosmetic saleswoman, was abandoned while she was one year old and Leandro, who is two years younger, is a truck driver. Only when he was eight years old, he realised that he was being brought by his step-mother and that the name of his real mother, who had abandoned him, was Maria. The couple assumed that the fact that their mothers name was same, was just a coincidence. Until on the radio show, Adrianas mother told her that she had a son named Leandro. She is 39 years old and is cosmetics saleswoman at home. Leandro is 37 and works as a truck driver. Both were born in the same town and were abandoned by their mothers in infancy. According to the Globo Radio, Adriana suspects that her mother abandoned them because of mistreatment by her ex-husband. "He hit women in front of me and even stabbed them," says Adriana. Many news reports are considering it as a phenomenon of “Genetic Sexual Attraction” that occurs between estranged relatives when they meet for the first time as adults, not knowing they are related. http://zeenews.india.com/news/world/married-for-seven-years-woman-discovers-husband-is-her-brother_953196.html
14. Somali government as corrupt, Shebab as deadly as ever: UN experts Last Updated: Monday, October 13, 2014 - 15:51 3 Shares Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Somali: War-torn Somalia`s government remains riddled with corruption while Shebab Islamists are as deadly as ever, United Nations investigators warned in a damming report seen by AFP Monday. The report also documents that weapons sent to the national army and supposed to be used to defend the country`s internationally-backed government have instead been seen on open sale in at least one market where Shebab agents bought arms. "Underlying corruption as a system of governance has not yet fundamentally changed and, in some cases, arguably has worsened," the new report by the UN Monitoring Group on Somalia and Eritrea read. The UN Security Council last year allowed a partial lifting of an arms embargo on the country to allow the national army to rearm, but "some of the weapons and ammunition have been diverted to arms markets in Mogadishu," the report read. Financially, the UN experts said they had "consistently found patterns of misappropriation with diversion rates of between 70 and 80 percent." "The indications are that diverted funds are used for partisan agendas that constitute threats to peace and security," said the 482-page confidential report, which was provided by a UN source. Around a third of revenues from the capital`s busy seaport, a key source of income totalling millions of dollars for the internationally funded government, cannot be accounted for. Meanwhile the Al-Qaeda-affiliated Shebab have shifted tactics in the face of sustained military assaults by the 22,000-strong African Union force and repeated air strikes, including last month`s assassination of insurgent commander Ahmed Abdi Godane. But air and drone strikes are doing little to damage the force in the long term. "Strategic strikes have in general resulted in short term gains but significantly failed to diminish Al-Shebab`s operation capacity," the report read. "There is no current evidence that they have the potential to degrade and destroy Al-Shebab." At home, the Shehab have increased their use of bombs including the "noticable" introduction of magnetic vehicle bombs, a tactic previously more commonly used in Afghanistan and Iraq, and which "may represent a transfer of battlefield knowledge to Somalia," it added. The report also says the Shehab, who carried out the September 2013 massacre in the Kenyan capital Nairobi`s Westgate mall, continue to pose a regional threat. Indeed, pressure on the fighters have forced them to "become more operationally audacious by placing greater emphasis on exporting its violence beyond the borders of Somalia" and across the Horn of Africa. "The Al-Shehab core can coordinate and conduct successful attacks throughout the Horn, in addition to retaining the operational capability to specifically target Westerners in Djibouti and Kenya, among other countries." The Shebab have lost a series of key towns and ports to the AU force and government army, heralded as advances that will stem the militants` multi-million dollar trade of charcoal to Gulf countries. Total charcoal exports in 2013-14 topped $250 million. But UN experts cautioned that while key ports were in control of AU and government troops, the trade continues unabated and the Islamists continue to profit, including through their control of production sites and truck checkpoints, as well as their extortion of businessmen. 16. @Sighnomore said: Ps. No Somali guys in my program. And all the guys who look at me on campus are toddler status. Why?that gave you away! you lack experience and honesty because of that...more than 90% of Somalis marry their own and if you looking others I'm sure they the great majority of where eva you live.Seriously I doubt you can handle if you see nice one because of your above words and need to be ova 35 to regret. you kindo detached, you haven't seen beautiful couples strolling in Somali major towns where you would think everyone is dirt poor. You are no different from otha western women bitching in every magazine on who they couldn't find Mr Right even when they have the richest, most educated and civilized men on this earth. Its a woman Virus. Good luck whateva you choose...
17. why not, everyone is muslim;if those people creating mayhem from Libya to Phillipines, pakistan, afganistan thru the Mideast to Nigeria and Somalia call thmslvs muslim, then why not her?who has the authority to deny if the pope call himself muslim.Group X will agree, then group Y will get infuriated and blow thmslvs up along with by standards, group Z will claim the last verse annulled that first one, group R claim the end is near around the 13th of a month, group D will embark on jihad and behead all above..
18. @Wiil Cusub said: Shame Shame for Walaweeyni still dreaming Somaliweyn still waiting to accomplish "Shanta oo calan mida ku wada caweynaaya" . Odey Who want remarried his ex-partner with AIDS or Ebola. Your proposal is almost same. This patient received some anti-paint treatment from AMISON soon when they left the decease will get upper-hand don't mind ,waaliweyn perfected the art of deception in defeat! they laugh and try make you mad. Nothing else left for them except talk, talk and push down your throat yesterday is tomorrow....they mad. Raxanreeb where he is quoting owned by ALkazalzar group...Goldogob..(puntland). Its the new cheap disinformation tactics embarked on by wlwyn.Using their websites or fake ones..hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
19. who knows who wrote this? probably some waaliweeyn or khatumite or even maybe some opposition clannist who think the only way to unseat the gov't...what a futile attempt...some are just far far away from reality, not knowing how the hardships under southern gov'ts are still the daily talk in mafrishis and among women!,southerners don't even know where to start on Somaliland, singing all the wrong tunes and jumping to every little flimsy thing at the end of dark tunnel, they believe it so simple and can be conquered with propaganda,UNISOM or few landers landing in Mogadishu for personal interests. There r even websites designed for disinformation and are for few time use, then closed like the ones Ahmed uses. How desperate! Please unite with us hahaaaaaa....oo NO NO NO.You believe you won't settle down till we come and that's the truth othawise you wouldn't be out of your mind about this so called unity for almost 30 years.WE know you'r nationalists and patriots!! :D Have little advise to those consumed by this unity nonsense who live in this tight container whereby nothing comes in except holding on to tired and obsolete ideas of the 60s for clannish reasons....not nationalistic...no one could be cheated at this day, that should go thru your hard skull, and if you care to have some re awakening please come to Somaliland,go to mafrishis, talk to women and then make realistic assessment if you choose to do so....Know that's hard, going against what's wishful and ingrained. Landers and indeed otha Somalis harshly criticize their own unlike puntlanders who are foreva liberation front in suits where by everyone dictated to like Koran what to say or not...keep everything bad under the rug. If we truthful to each otha there only one option available as far as unity is concerned and that's war where by Mogadishu hoping it can coerce 3rd parties(foreigners) to help thm subjugate Somaliland,,and that's a very unlikely scenario as it become a wider conflict where foreigners on both sides of the theatre and where surely Mogadishu get defeated and won't get sympathy again from rest of world as it used on unnecessary conflict the meager resources and hand outs it received from int'l community.Back to the turmoil. and why so focused on union...we know from experience that who eva come to power keeps filling his pockets and those around him, mainly his clan.Is Puntland or otha regions receive their share from central gov't,,,thus the continuing quarrel between Garowe and Mogadishu, or is Puntland really a cohesive part of Somalia in light of the agreement reached this week that gave puntland more than the powers needed for regional gov't and central states(qaybdiid) rejected outright and declared they no longer part of the union and that it's now clan fiefdoms. Come on be real...Wiser puntland avoid a war on two fronts instead of clinging to past nostalgia which was the root causes of the civil war in the first place and instead of trying so hard to hurt & dismember Somaliland, as this saying goes" don't dig a hole for others, and don't make it deeper if you dig one as you might yourself fall."
20. Tallabo maybe we have to keep going with the endless more than quarreling in Somalia. Are there any otha posts by southerners, like ebola or the feminist turned muslim now on top the blog?
