Its not the community in Sanaag who is plotting a cold blooded murder of innocent Muslims but a bunch of ignorant ill-educated men who have no fear of God, no values to stand for, no love for humanity, and no clue how to seek justice for the victims. Mr Saalax I don't see any power here but just total weekness in faith and character. By the way, do you support what they are trying to do?

Som Gov arrest 14 suspects accused of Killing MP Yuusuf Maxamed Dirir
Tallaabo replied to malistar2012's topic in Politics
I hope enough evidence is obtained and proper procedure followed before people are charged for murder. -
I believe the opposition parties especially Wadani is worse than the criminal ruling party we now have. These "parties" who are really just tribal gangs do not know what they stand for. All they are after is power. All Somaliland politicians are immoral b@stards anyway but what shocked me most is the deafening silence of the so called sheikhs who usually have something to say about even the most mundane of issues. Today they exposed themselves as nothing more than hypocrites.

It looks like the white academic is now the new biblical Lucifer :-D

@galbeedi said: Yonis, please no excuses for this " Maamul and the People". It has been almost a week and not one single person raised their voice. This is the same crowd that was playing the victim card for 25 years. This is worse than what South Africans were doing to Somalis and others. For many years , no one challenged them. In politics, carrot and stick go hand in hand. We all overlooked their weaknesses, misdeeds and dysfunction. They are even spreading false excuses, claiming that the Ethiopian government told them not to accept refugees from Yemen. If I were in charge , I would have brought these separatists in to the union without bloodshed . It won't take me four years. The problem is we have a weak and corrupt southern politicians who doesn't know history and can not see the big picture. I have never seen a more shameless political campaigning than the load of garbage you posted here in this thread of all places!! With your fake display of outrage why don't you ask why your fellow Awdalites are also quite and not protesting against this apparent injustice? Indeed your Awdalite cousins are just as complicit now as they were when Afwayne was massacring the duriyada clan's women and children and Djibouti was handing over fleeing refugees to the firing squad. Also your constant pontification about "the good old days" clearly shows how you benefited from the loot which Siyad and his fellow tyrants were taking from my people. But that era is well and truely over and now there is nothing you and your fellow haters can really do about Somaliland even if somehow the people of Mogadishu allowed you to step a foot in their villa Somalia.

December 2016 is just few days short of 2017 :-D I am guessing the date of election will be 31st December.

@Nin-Yaaban said: LooL the irony in all of this is, this port was built by Somalis. It was built by Somalia. It was built with Canshuur lacag and man power laga soo qaaday from every Gobol. O'well, u see something new everyday. This is not about the southeners or immigration control as we all know half of the Somaliland population is by now Oromo. They can't refuse the Yemenis because they don't want to mess with Yemen. So they see poor Somalis from the South as an easy target for getting more money from their pay masters. N.B- The port of Berbera existed long before the Somali Republic came into existence. It was used by the British and before them the Ottoman empire. Berbera was a trading town even before the Turks showed up centuries ago.

I didn't watch the video but I know that the greed of the politicians in Somaliland is off the scale. In their shameless quest to get money from the UN they forgot their duty to God.

The title of this thread needs editing.

I met Yusuf Maxamad Dirir in London. Ilaahay ha u naxariisto.
-
Whether he is legitimate or not I do appreciate the fact that he is making an effort to help fellow Somalis in need of support. But I hope he realises sooner rather than later how ridiculous he looks in that foreign dress.

Waran Cadde, Siilaanyo, and the vast majority of politicians and so called elders in Somaliland have lost their morals, self respect, and dignity a long time ago so I don't expect any good from them. We can only pray for these distressed refugees.

@BusDriver said: I just hope they also have a connection to Hargeisa. I don't think it is needed in Hargeisa as Ethiopian airlines has a fantastic service there. There is not enough customer base in Somaliland for too many carriers.

@Alpha Blondy said: the tribal elder of Puntland Borqor D.a.rood meets with his Xhosa counterpart. lol i wonder what his travels achieved? As an animal rights activist I am disturbed by the display of a dead lion's carcass as a trophy. This Zulu criminal should be brought to justice for such a horrendous crime.

@Tillamook said: This is bogus news. The habros are nothing but attention seeking drama queens without an iota of decency and respect, who will not hesitate to publish such cheap propaganda. No one was dispersed in Xamar! Yes no one was harassed in Xamar if we take your gibberish comment as what they call a gospel truth.

Why is this investment kept secret? I think it should be celebrated so other investors follow with similar injection of capital into the region. I believe Puntlanders in the diaspora would invest a lot more money in Puntland if they had confidence in the system.

Ilaahay ha u naxariisto qofka meeshaa lagu dilay. Somaliland is a fledgling democracy where the freedom to protest is respected in most cases. However as the police all over the country lack basic crowd control gear we often see live ammunitions fired in such disturbances with tragic consequences. It happened in Borama, in Hargeisa, in Burco, and other places too.

@Tillamook said: The international community wants a new administration in Somaliland before the federal elections of 2016. So this term extension that Silanyo wants does not jive well with their vision 2016 plan for Somalia. And where is the evidence to back up your interesting claim?

^ We are not quite yet finished niyow. We just struggling to evict a squatter from one of our important properties.

That is a very good news. They should ban Siilaanyo and all the other thieves in Hargeisa from travelling to the West. I am sure the sick man will soon run out of his cocktail of life supporting drugs and will quickly make a U-turn.

I think Guatemala is in the right place given their contribution to the global narcotics trade but where is Afghanistan which is also a major player in this lucrative business?
