  2. ^ Your views scream of naivety. Do you really think the Ethiopian PM means what he says when he is robotically reading scripts? And there is actually nothing new about what he said given that Ethiopia maintains a policy of not being the first country to recognise Somaliland. "Dadkooda ayay dhinaca ka raaci lahaayeen"- does that mean surrendering to international terrorists and inviting foreign mercenaries into our land?
  3. @Jaabiri said: Girls complaining watch this girl https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNRNvl8d44o If this girl denounces Islam (God forbid) her parents will be responsible to a large extent. This so called "Islamic" boarding school or Guantanamo bay prison according to the testimony of the girl should not even have male staff freely mingling with teenage girls in secluded rooms. Where are the bearded peddlers of "shariah" in Somaliland? The failed parents of these kids should be castrated to save children from such miserable life.
  4. Caruurtii qaarbaa Yurub dib loogu celiyay https://www.hiiraan.com/news/2017/May/wararka_maanta4-141019.htm Dhaqan celis dambe ma jirayo :-D

  6. This is for the "wasiirka afsoomaaliga" aka Haatu.
  7. I think this case has nothing to do with terrorism. It is rather a case of European authorities coming after their underage citizens who were abducted from Europe by their Somali parents and kept in Africa against their will. This will be a wake up call for the ignorant qurbojoog parents that their children are free agents not mere possessions to be mistreated. The lesson to be learned here is: if you take a western citizenship, you surrender absolute control of your western born children. So basically it is your children or a passport.
  8. @Saalax said: Thanks to decades of tree cutting. Somalis don't care about the environment and then cry later when droughts keep coming. You are right, deforestation, squandering of money on drugs like khat, corruption, tribalism, and giving power to unqualified useless politicians are the root causes of this disaster. Draughts are a feature of the environment we live in and due to climate change their frequency and intensity will only increase further, but instead of adapting to them by building reservoirs, wells, protecting the trees we have and planting more, managing grazing lands, developing farming and fishing, and making preparations for such situations we remained complacent. Therefore we should blame ourselves and not the climate.
  9. That is a good start but the Ethiopian regime will not let their quarter century old influence in Somalia end that easily.
  10. The land looks so lifeless and inhospitable. May Allah give us the rain and His blessings we so desperately need.
  11. @Saalax said: Tallaabo How does it feel having lived a lie your whole life? Anigu I never really believed in the Arab flying carpet myth. How do you know I "lived a lie"? Mr saalax unlike you not everyone of us gets a piece of information from teashops and then runs away with it. We do make use of our faculties of thought and reason.

  13. I can confirm these are the DNA samples of my beautiful cat bubbles and that of my neighbour's noisy chihuahua :-D
  14. This is the government doing the job it was elected to do and I pray to Allah to help them. These skirmishes in Sool should never be tolerated as the consequences of them being unchecked are too grave in terms of both life and development. Today the focus of everyone in Somaliland should be about surviving this catastrophic draught and not about clans.
  15. Don't the scum in xamar see that Somalis today are not in a mood to listen to songs? People are dying of hunger and thirst while many others are losing their lives to bombings but these fools are entertaining themselves relaxing on oversized sofas!!
  16. This gentleman did the right thing by distancing himself from the political chaos and failure of Hargeisa. Hopefully others will follow suit and the public will say enough is enough and kick the rest of them out starting with the sick pensioner and the illiterate crowd in the guurti.
  17. The problem with you guys is that you don't understand that the Somalia flag is added to a list of banned items which includes alcohol, cocaine, pornographic material, the Christian cross, Hindu idols, Puntland's pirate flag, etc. Just like every country in the world, if anyone is caught while in possession of those banned items, the law will be used against them.
  18. The United States used to persecute communists during the cold war era. Likewise Somaliland has laws to stop those peddling discredited and dangerous ideas like union for the sake of its own national security.
  19. In announcing the missile strikes, Mr Donald Trump sounded very presidential and eloquent for the first time in his life. I am cheering for him now.

  21. I keep hearing these sort of stories but unless ay dhagdheer soo laabatay oo beerka iyo kelyaha caruurta ay shaqaaleheedu hargaysa ugasoo ururinayaan, human organs being used for medical transplantation cannot be transported like that.
  22. @cadnaan1 said: I dont think u eve been to nairobi the criminals gangs are ruthless waa bilaa naxariis specially there s somali gang called super power they are mainly somalis and they target somali business in eastleigh waa dilaayaal xataa dadka hada way ka baqdaan inay aadaan salaat subax masaajidka because of these somali gang. I don't hear about the un judicial execution of high ranking government officials for stealing millions of dollars from the tax payer, do you?
  23. @galbeedi said: Aaway hogaankii dadka jihayn lahaa ee nolol cusub u bilabilahaa. An elite without conscience is the worst think that could happen to a people. Baruur iyo cunto uu iska badiyay ayuu la xanuunsanyaa iyadoo dadkii uu masuulka ka ahaana gaajo u dhimanayaan.
  24. ^ Indeed maakhiri. I don't understand how his supporters can't see his true intentions!! If the masses are supporting all those major constitutional changes in Turkey out of love for Erdogan, what will happen when he is no longer there and the person replacing him turns out to be evil? With all those powers being accumulated in the hands of the president, and with no strong tradition of democracy, Turkey is in danger of turning into another Egypt. It is also ridiculous to demand Turkish politicians campaign in foreign countries. Every country has a right to control what happens within their borders so the abuses and the un diplomatic behaviour from Erdugan when his plans were stopped by Europe and the absence of Turkish condemnation of Erdugan shows the man has dangerous powers in his country.
  25. Erdugan is turning into a dictator and the European governments have a duty to stop him from acquiring more illegal powers. I don't know why he has to campaign in Europe and spread his propaganda there when he already has enough supporters in Turkey itself. The European Turks should worry more about their interests in their respective European countries instead of colluding with the crazy man to topple democracy in their former country of origin.
