  2. Abshir C Huruuse and Axmed C Cawad, two Fed. Foreign Ministers join PL presidential election. \
  3. I remember Oodweyne & Co. spewing their usual diatribe along the lines of the beloved republic could and will wait out till SSC run out of esteem, and PL out of funds to finance the conflict.
  4. In an attempt to claim @Somalia diplomatic immunity and avoid lawsuit, the Somaliland @musebiihi’s regime has admitted in U.S. Federal Court that Somaliland is part and parcel of #Somalia, it reads “Somaliland is NOT a foreign state, .. it’s a regional subdivision of Somalia..” By the admission, @musebiihi has proven that Somaliland has no legitimate claim over SSC @SSCKhaatumo. I wonder if Somaliland lobbyists in Washington DC want to continue their false claims of Somaliland region being a separate state from Somalia! https://twitter.com/YassSomali/status/1734630835859665224?s=20
  5. This might be the reason.
  6. Is Ahmed a member of AaranJaan? Or is he guilty by family association? Postscript: I do not read Italian, but on this page in English, his appeal, Mr Ciise Cawad Warmooge, a soldier under the Brits, was wrongfully imprisoned by an illegal colonial authority for nearly a year with his money of 2,200 confiscated; he is pleading to have his money returned. What was his crime? And why is the crime of the father being visited upon the son?
  7. Aid distribution in 2022. This lacks details, but sheds some light.
  8. PL Constitutional Court ruling: Parliament term ends on Dec. 31, 2023. Term extension is unconstitutional.
  9. Having succeeded in derailing the elections, Faroole arrives Garowe to gloat.
  10. This might as well be his farewell speech https://www.facebook.com/plstatehouseofficial/videos/1079138749756772
  11. Opposition retracing its steps, and now saying there are not in favour of any extension, in other words opposing Parliament's attempted coup d'etat. ,
  12. Do the SL elites really think there is a possibility of negotiating with SSC-Khatumo?
  13. This further complicates matters. In other words, the Parliament awards itself a 12-month term extension. VP supports it. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=204089429444074&ref=sharing
  14. Despite his shortcomings, and there are a few, he is very popular with the locals. I hear Amb. Axmed C Cawad is being groomed for the post, but then again, he is an unknown commodity, and I do not know how much local support there is for his type.
  15. There has been a lot of talk about North-South confederation, under the aegis of I O Geelle, which I hear Muse & Co are very keen on, and Hasan has been pushing, well that was before SSC-Khatumo was born. And I am still hearing about it. Do you not see that as a possible plan B?
  16. Indeed tragic, but in the greater scheme of things, all things being equal, it is a very bad choice, and they will pay a hefty price in another day. Opposition is just a bunch of prima donnas in empty suits. Most likely, and so was clear in their message to Deni & Co.
  17. It is over, and democracy dead on arrival. Back to the infamous legacy. http://www.facebook.com/Puntlandstatetv/videos/1000147424384998
  18. I did read that too, but then again, others who were more privy to SNM's intents well before the 1988 war, disagree. Members of SSDF incl. A Yusuf said so as much. Then I saw a letter said to have been a speech A Silanyo intended to read at the May, 1991 conference in Burco to declare a transitional government for Somalia, that was till the conference was hijacked by 'Gaas Dhegoole - hardliners within SNM ranks' who forced A Silanyo to instead declare SL; reason: the Jibouti meeting, where A Mahdi and O Arte had been named leaders of Somalia with no consultation with armed rebels. A Tuur & Co were said to have been of the same view. Two wings within SNM on either side of the issue. Truth is found somewhere in between.
  19. It is actually better this way, for it gives Issims more influence over the electoral process, takes power away from politicians, and sidelines armed opposition from derailing the elections.
  20. It looks to have escalated matters rather than diffused it. My prediction: a 3rd round of Issims shall get together, and reconcile the proposals, this one, and the October 28th proposal, and in the end, a final resolution shall come out with all parties agreeing to a resolution. Issims met with Deni and opposition, and this was intended a middle ground.
  21. Sorry, mate, I did not realise you posted it already. SSC-KHATUMO traditional leaders meeting in Garoowe have proposed that Puntland elections: "Should be held on the 8th of January, The current parliament gets one year extension and elects the president and the vice president, and After 12 months a new president, a VP and a new parliament gets elected through one-person, one-vote popular vote." Garaad Jama Garaad Ali, the Supreme traditional leader of SSC-KHATUMO, rejected their proposal outright and called it a dangerous move that could endanger both Puntland and SSC-KHATUMO. https://twitter.com/radiodaljir/status/1732391181252751583?s=20
  22. Foundation built upon falsities eventually falters finally falling flat on its visage. Besides, you do not need a plan B, when your master plan is being marketed under the false slogan of being Africa's best kept secret, do you? Shamed to say, but Shankaroon was long shagged under shady shenanigans by its chinless chauffeurs shilling for the chanced overlords.
  23. This is dangerously troubling, and worse when the fitna reaches the house with women and children singing their praise. Indeed we are in trouble.
