  1. Ngonge and Oodweyne spreading the virtue of Clannism, with "Clan is everything" mantra, and here was me thinking that "SomaliLand" was a democracy!! *doh*

At the rate we're going - vilages of a few thousand will have 10 different self-dclared mamuls. Ultimately accountability is what matters. You can have it in various forms. The problem is that instead of pushing for accountability - everyone who has a grievance wants to set up their own mamul. Ultimately this extreme fad will collapse on itself. I agree!

  4. Why is the constitution being decided by the Governor of a clan enclave, when the one other clan enclave is not there and a third of the country is in the hand of Al Shaabab?.....Does Faroole know the views of the people Baidoa? cause it matters to me. P.s Don't mention Saakin!
  5. I'll take them serious when they open an office in Ras Kamboni.:
  6. The Sage;790215 wrote: It would be foolish to leave Al Shabab to its own devices when the group is already at its death knell. If anything the international community should bolster the TFG with the resources it needs to finish them off. This is especially confusing when you consider that security is at the top of the agenda for the meeting. Totally agree, but the high seas is the main security concern for the West.
  7. There is nothing to fear, it was all going to end this way...all that sweet nothing was just "shukansi" so that you could come to the table as one of the stakeholders in SOMALIA. Now start building those prisons, Puntlanders have failed in law and order. :D:cool:
  8. This is why the Hargeisa hegemony is doomed, spending all the money in the triangle towns [ I admit, this is not fair to Burco] shows bad judgement by the Hargeisa elites. 1.The EU gave $30m for water improvement and was all spent in Hargeisa when there are drought concern in the whole "SL" region. 2."SL" asked for a 5m meat proccessing factory and flour meal for 3m from the Turkish gov to be build in Hargeisa and the rest of the regions only development plans are Police Stations.
  9. If he failed to do any of those option; then, I can only think of that he must have been tired of running the country; and, therefore, he is looking forward an early retirement; so that, this is his ticket way out. For, there is no way he will last one week, were he to sign this silly proposal and, chance his luck to return to Hargeisa. Mark my word, fellas... ------------- Don't worry about the old man, I hope he starts now managing expectations back home, he can always blame the "Wretched British" for his political failings.

  11. "Couched in diplomatic language, the agreement would set the stage for de-facto partition of the country, with international support concentrated on “areas of stability” outside of al-Shabaab’s control". The Telegraph are just being dramatic, what is important is the increase of AMISON troops that will be announced a day before the meeting by the UN which will hopefully be 18K, prefferebly made of Djibouti contigent. If Kismayo, Afgoye and Baidoa are captured then the war is over, Ethiopia might wish for Al shaabab not be defeated quickly as they are making money from US and EU.....to a lesser extent Uganda and Kenya' Army are being kept busy... Somalis if they're clever enough should work on constituting their National Army ASAP and end the capture the lands form Al Shaabab themselves. The TFG has 5 months to surprise the world.

I think it's the real deal, even British Telegraph are using it in this scoop.... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/somalia/9086599/Al-Shabaab-Militants-may-be-free-to-control-Somalias-south.html
  13. ^^ I'll be cool if you just stopped calling it a country...::cool:
  14. I don't believe in "morality police", it's a salafi creation.....if someone has commited a crime against the public, then let the law deal with him. What people do in their private affair is their business and we leave that to GOD, but if someone is stealing, abusing, killing, taking bribes.....then the state should deal with that affair.
  15. Xaaji Xunjuf;790073 wrote: Mario ofcourse i care about Somalida where every they are from Mogadisho Puntland nfd and Djibouti. Let the land of the Afar and Issa [Djibouti] take care of itself , let kenya worry about NFD and Vice Versa.....but remember that the 2 Landers are two "clan enclave" in Republic of Somalia. P.s Dont' come up with " what about the colonial border"? nonsense, it's laughable!! :D
  16. This shows that XX cares about Somali affairs and his seperatist ideology is only a bargaining tool.:cool:
  17. Malika;789923 wrote: ^What is the difference - erm when it comes to drug abuse or drug dealing? There is no difference at all. I dont remember reading nor hearing of sins that are prescribed for one sex and not the other... I second that. !!

  19. Somalicentric;789889 wrote: Had this been a couple of men it would be normal right? because we can't bare to call the man out... because this is 'in his nature' Stop the madness. Nonsense, most somalis despise mafrish crew, wether men or women. Qabil and Khat, are the 2 things all of us would like to cure from the Somali social body.

Cambuulo iyo bun;789883 wrote: im talking about flying from the west to mogadishu that is over 1k my friend why waste on 3 days in mog If i'm flying to Xamar at that cost, I'll be staying for a month...Anyway I read somewhere that the tickets are 450 Euros....I think the Gov should build a tent city near the beach like they do in safari tours....they can charge $10 a nite. :D This numpties dont know how to run a country...the GOV should be creating it's own enterprises. We can't be beggars forever.
  21. The republic of Arabsiyo. Our flag is the same as Albania's but with tawheed above it...... :D
  22. The Zack;789876 wrote: ^ :D @Hotel Saxafi. Maybe that or AMISOM will give us spot in Villa Somalia, the only safe spot in town. The problem is how are we going to travel from the Airporta to Villada since we don't have the Ugandan/Burundi tanks . I doubt we will be allowed near the President, they may think we are "foreign Alshaabab" on a suicide mission, but i get your point....room capacity in mogadishu must be dire. I dont know if they do bed and breakfast at Muna hotel?
  23. The Zack;789873 wrote: True that, even Hague was there the other day. The question is everybody staying there LOL. I believe we might have to all squeeze in at Hotel Sahafi. :D
  24. The Zack;789871 wrote: ^ Who, in the diaspora, would want to fly from the west to Xamar? LOL.. That just aint right, at least right now. Say one takes 4 weeks of vacation, one would probably not spend all 4 weeks in Xamar LOL. We got to stop by Nairobi and the likes. 3 days are enough in Xamar inta shabaab ay joogaan ceelasha biyaha. You may be proven right in the end, but let's say i'm more optimistic than you......next week the UN will double the AMISON force and once Afgoye is captured then Mogadishu will be secured. I believe the drought took away the fear of Somalis as many men and women went to Mogadishu to help...at that time it worse even more dangerous than it is now. Haven't you been watching Sh Sharif walking safely from one corner of the city to another like a true Mayor.....with Tarsan as his deputy? :D
