  4. WASHINGTON – The Department of Homeland Security is once again renewing the temporary protected status for some Somali immigrants living in the United States. The protected status, first issued in 2001, will now expire in March 2014, meaning that Somali immigrants can stay in the U.S. until then. Homeland Security says their status is being extended because of an ongoing armed conflict and severe drought in Somalia. Somali immigrants already in the U.S. can apply for the status with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services between now and July 2.

  6. Somalia;826505 wrote: The country you are talking about is lead by Puntland, trying to take you into the 21st century. People like you need to keep quiet while business is done, it will get done without you but you just make the process ugly. Hadal badanaa, it's nothing more than pure jealousy and Aaliyyah confirmed it with her comments regarding the PM position. There's larger interests at stake, something your kind can't wrap around their hands, it's too complex and important for your inclusion. my god, he does not know when to shut it.

In a press conference in Garowe on Thursday, the president Farole has warned that the UNDP funded draft constitution, comprised the agreed upon Road map and the two Garowe Principles. “What most of us worry is that the draft constitution is weak on federalism and fails to distribute power to all the region in Somalia. However, president Farole did not also clearly point to specific articles in the new constitution as many more somalis and politicians alike reject the constitution for fear of the country's future.
  10. ^^^ wow. sxb. i strongly recommend you take political science 101. politic is a consensus based and as a result, everybody compromises. PL is only going to be part of somalia under the system of federalism; otherwise, PL will declare independence.
  11. folks we were warned. we did not listen. Only Sh. Sharif anticipated the conflict that loomed ahead, when he said: “The debate could be what type of federal system.”
  12. Dabrow;826273 wrote: What was agree upon and whats has not been meet in the constitution? This sounds like spoiler in my ears but I let you explain your case before I pass my infinite judgement on Farroole if he is indeed a spoiler or not. faroole is not a spoiler like the hordes in mogadishu, the man is against the constitution because the road map and the two garowe principles clearly state "All of them agreed in their opening statements that the structure/form of a permanent Somali state should be federal". "Only Sh. Sharif anticipated the conflict that loomed ahead, when he said: “The debate could be what type of federal system.” here is the full article damn you shariif.
  13. Dabrow;826262 wrote: Please explain those legal reasons. the constitution is not fully endorsing federalism as agreed upon.

PL is rejecting because of legal issues. According to Mudane Madaxweyne Faroole, the federal constitution is not even federal. what the hell:confused::mad:
