  1. A lot of people don't know that his script was likely to have been chosen as the script but Siad Barre took Latin instead. There were debates on which to choose before he got in power and Arabic was out of the question with Osmanya taking the lead. http://somalia.tumblr.com/post/16927395215/cusmaan-yuusuf-left-creator-of-the-osmanya

The only thing the Obama campaign has to do is tie him with the rich, highlight his flip-flopping and the fact that he funnelled money to offshore accounts. Romney won't get the Latino vote where Obama will promise for reform regarding immigration (rightly or wrongly), he won't get 90% of the black vote, he might pick up votes with the evangelists but that's all. Obama is a bad choice but Romney is worse. It will be a landslide, you'll see.
  3. Obama is going to win with a landslide. More votes than in 2008 for sure.
  4. Indeed this is the principal leader. The people of Maakhir have had loyalty to the state throughout bad times.

  6. These people are going beyond the game, this is a strategy only Puntlanders would come up with. I am surprised and admire their effort

  9. Thanks guys, I am happy with the results.
  10. I think the author has a problem with who he praises rather than what he says. He's an old man, not a lot of people read his work but even if it is bad, let it be. He's one of a kind, he thinks differently and this is probably the kind of reaction he wants. He is being given more exposure.

  13. These strategic issues are irrelevant given the current state of the country. When Somalia rebounces they won't issue a claim, that is the reason why they wanted a signed memorandum which the government gave them in 2009, but the UNSC rejected it. So they haven't got a claim and that is the reason they want a signed agreement.

  15. Look at these jihadis, it's harmless fun. And since the picture links to FB, while NOT private, it doesn't do any damage.

But why prefer and brag about it being in London, why couldn't it be held in the supposed stable Somaliland, I mean you claim independence due to the failure in south Somalia, why not hold it in your backyard? It's because you suffer from Stockholm syndrome, it's the same reason you've always had contempt for the eastern regions of British Somaliland, the fact that the monarchy never looked after you, but now it's time to align yourself with her but she still for 21 years isn't even looking at you.
