^Do you think there is the same level of racism (blatant or otherwise) in Arab states?

1. By ruling with man made laws, ones that are legislated in parliament other than the already existing rules of Allah. Nonesense. Which man made laws are these saxib? Did the TFG not unanimously vote in the introduction of Sharia Law? 2.They obey the mandates of the united nations and other kafir international entities that go by their own legislated laws and rules, rules that have no basis in Islam. Is this the same UN who have been providing food for many starving people whilst AS have been accussed of stealing that same food? Stop picking and choosing what is right for you. 3.True. They rule and judge not with the Quran and the Sunnah that Allah has revealed but again with their own kaafir laws. Do you even know the implications of making such a statement? I won’t even bother. 4.The example of these is all over the Muslim world. Am surprised that this escaped you. If you want examples, consider the roles of every so called Muslim countries and their direct or indirect involvement with the west and how far they go by obeying them.(in the case of the Somalis, they brought Kaafir troops and allied themselves with Kaafirs and not only do they do that but they took Kaafirs as protectors and to some great extent, they even fight side by side with their kaafir protectors against whatever they deem as a threat) Leave the rest of the Muslim world out of it. I’m sure you’ve been to those countries and felt safe, secure and able to practice your religion freely. The threat is AS right? Do AS abide by the rules and regulation of war? Are they the perfectionists you’re only to happy to portray them as? 5.A regime that sold parts of the country's natural resources will no doubt bring about Riba taking financial institutions.(I will try to look at this in relation to somalia, whether this apostate regime takes riba or some forms of it) Stuff and nonsense. You’re prepared to label someone an apostate because you have a crystal ball that tells you what they will do in the future? Move away from the Riba infested country you’re currently residing in! 6.This has happened in other parts of the Muslim world already, countries that are much developed and peaceful than Somalia. Somalia being a corrupt country run by apostate politicians will no doubt follow the path. Stuff and nonsense. You’re prepared to label someone an apostate because you have a crystal ball that tells you what they will do in the future? You demand that one must be specific and yet you fail to see the apparent and even though you understand and know the TFG and its history, you go far by making excuses for them. Since you already know or think that the excuses you give them are legible, what is the point in pointing out the obvious to you and what is going to stop you from further negating what is again the obvious? What happens in Somalia and the Muslim world in general is no secret. Stuff and nonsense saxib. The points you're hinging your argument on to are so fundamentally flawed I don't even know why I'm bothering.

Juje, the man has been too quiet on too many issues for too long. Granted I'm hardly one who keeps up to date but I'm not THAT bad not to notice his press releases. I don't recall that many (less than 5) in nearly 365 days.

Mainly experienced racism in Italy. The French are a little more reserved. The Brits are more reserved than the French. The Scandanavians are more reserved than the Brits. Not intending on going to Eastern Europe.

His thoughts almost a year on. The man is still lagging way behind when it comes to utilising the media. How many press releases have come out of the presidents office this year? 2? 3?

This where reason comes in." Please seperate individual civility from laws imposed on the populace. Quite a basic formality really.

Originally posted by ailamos: quote:Originally posted by Norfsky: The civility you're referring to has routes in religion does it not?Remember we are talking about INDIVIDUAL civility which, in my opinion, was present before ‘the enlightenment’ and was the result of people taking up religion to be their way of life. ‘Treat thy neighbour well’ and all that as well as, funnily enough, the 10 commandments you’ve just acknowledged. If you’re of a different opinion, feel free to present it to me without the red herrings and aggrieved apostate commentary. This INDIVIDUAL civility that, according to you, was present before enlightenment included among other things: witch trials, inquisitions (people 'reporting on their neighbors' alleged heresy), and severe gender inequality (e.g. "every woman should be filled with shame by the thought that she is a woman." - St. Clement). Let's try this one more time: the enlightenment brought "reason" into the equation, people started to be free of religious dogma and had begun to think for themselves. A good example are the debating clubs started to emerge where people discussed a range of issues, something which would not have been possible under the Church where one could not question what God had supposedly stated, whether or not it made sense. Try to think outside your religious box here. I am not arguing that religion brought good things but you have to realize that is also brought bad things to humanity. This is something you (and many other religionists) refuse to acknowledge while you poke your ears with your index fingers and yell "lalalala". The civility of today’s ‘enlightened’ populace includes high cases of rape, alcoholism, murder and paedophilia. See how illogical you’re argument is? Swings and roun****uts as it were. Again, you’re trying to attach the ‘enlightenment’ to civility as if European people were low down dirty brutes before secularism. Is that what you’re trying to say? There were perfectly civil people before the ‘enlightenment’. This civility came about as a result of most people’s attachment to a religion. Being civil as a person has nothing to do with the ‘enlightenment’ and the separation of Church and state. It originated way before that period. Oh but wait, the world started in the 18th century according to you. Any mention of religion having a good impact on people seems to boil your blood enough that you come out with ill thought out explanations/posts. Try again. Cara, Regardless, whatever religions came before Christianity I’m sure they preached civility to it’s followers.
