  5. I don't think anything will happen in other larger Arab countries. Unless a leader galvanises the people and makes them believe the govnt needs overthrowing. Even then they might think having people killed to achieve it isn't worth it. Ps hope Tunisia changes for the better.
  6. He has stepped down and fled the country. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-12195025 Interesting times. Algerians have been protesting as well. Other Arabs are taking note.
  7. Ngonge, the video also proves Hollywood gives time to the US Foreign policies of which rendition and the killing of Muslims is part and parcel and is necessary to protect the US (something being portrayed in Military approved movies). You don't need it to be written in black and white. Wax fahan. 5;685535 wrote: Norf, you live in the UEA right? Well did you know that News Corp. second biggest shareholder is a Saudi prince? Yes the same News Corp. that owns Fox. In fact the UEA is desperately trying to establish itself as the media hub of the Middle East and invests heavily in Hollywood companies. By firmly beliving Hollywood has an agenda, you are displaying naivity. There are some things that transcend ideals, and money is the biggest. 5, thanks for bringing up NewsCorp and Fox. We all see the Fox agenda and they're also a movie producer. ps Prince Al Waleed is someone who deserves little attention. A man more interested in making a name for himelf than actually doing anything about the situation. Whether he owns part of NewsCorp or not make no difference.
  8. ^Are you sure you want a fan of Lucas as a holding midfielder? I agree about Tuujiye warming the bench though
  9. Ngonge, Rafa iska ilow ninyow. He is gone. He won't be back. He is waiting for the City job. Same type of manager. Won't try to win a game after the 60 min mark.

  18. NGONGE;685367 wrote: Dee sidaan kuu fasira, saaxib? Ok. Here goes. PL is getting money from an unidentified Muslim country to help it with the training and equipping of this "force". SL (your neighbours who you have a border dispute with) sees this as a threat (since there is a weapons embargo on all Somali areas). SL would like to have its own benefactors to supply it, train it and pay for the weapons and equipment. How will it do that when there is a weapons embargo? Aha! There is something in the sky, is it a bird? Is it a plane? It is a plane! Now SL created this negative publicity about PL's alleged breaking of the embargo (which might hopefully put a stop to PL's designs) and at the same time made the issue (of the breaking of the embargo) known to other friendly nations who might choose to wade in and offer their own help to SL. Furthermore, with this unknown "Muslim" nations understood to be an Arab one, SL, by creating all these clouds of dust, are trying to get good old Melez to twitch and stick his nose into proceedings. Imam Farole, once he took his eye of the football, finally realised this, which is why he's trying to create his own clouds of dust with this weak story of Al Shabab links. But you carry on paying attention to minor details of uniforms, courts and cargo planes adeer. Waar kuwani wax ma fahmaan. They're more intersted in imaginary SL embarrassment whilst their pilot flies over PL and misses there 'cities', plane is held and released, noise is made about the arms going there and is reported by all major media outlets. But somehow in their peculiar way of thinking, SL is embarrassed.

  22. The coach of Qatar athletics team Jama Aden won the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Sports Excellence as the best Arab coach for the victory of the Qatar youth champions in various international championships and for his supervision on the training of the Sudanese champion Abubaker Kaki. This awarding was announced during a press conference held by the board of trustees of the award yesterday at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai which was attended by the Mr. Mattar Al Tayer, chairman of the board of trustees, and Dr. Ahmed Saad Al Sharif, the secretary general of the award board, and Dr. Atef Odibat the chairman of the arbitration commission, and several members of the board of trustees as well as some other leaders from the sports sector in the UAE. It is worth mentioning that this award was launched last year, bearing the name of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the Vice President of the UAE and the Governor of Dubai, to award the sports personalities who proved excellence in the sports world locally and regionally. The board of trustees of the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Sports Excellence announced yesterday the names of the winners of the second session which witnessed a high turnout of participation in the number of candidates (132 applicants from 16 Arab countries). It is worth notice that the winners of the second session will receive their awards on January 6, 2011, in a grand ceremony that matches with this award value which bears the name of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice-President of UAE and the Prime Minister and the Governor of Dubai. Undoubtedly, this award is a huge support to the sports scene in UAE, the Arab world, and the international sports scene that it will extend to cover at a later stage Thursday night should be good
