Now that there is a ray of hope it is very important that the following takes place. 1. Secure Muqdisho – no pockets of resistance, no guerilla warfare, and freedom for the residents to go about their daily business. 2. Ensure essentials are getting through and available for the public to buy (food, water, clothing etc) 3. Provide some services for the people through various skills based programmes for the people. Basic first aid training, cleaning the streets, reopen schools and hospitals, vaccination programmes etc Then take it from there (I’m assuming there are competent members of the govnt who can do this of course).

Hope things transpire peacfully. Any Ghadaafi supporters who fight are just dumb. If only NATO rescued Somalia all those years ago.

It was a hollow victory. The 3 points are welcomed but the way we played lacked any creativity. Adam is out of his depth (Championship/lower PL player) and Carrol is just too one dimensional. Mereiles needs to start some games otherwise this lack of creativity will continue. We also need a right winger. Hendo is did well coming in and keeping things tight. Frimpingpong was just daft.
