Now that there is a ray of hope it is very important that the following takes place. 1. Secure Muqdisho – no pockets of resistance, no guerilla warfare, and freedom for the residents to go about their daily business. 2. Ensure essentials are getting through and available for the public to buy (food, water, clothing etc) 3. Provide some services for the people through various skills based programmes for the people. Basic first aid training, cleaning the streets, reopen schools and hospitals, vaccination programmes etc Then take it from there (I’m assuming there are competent members of the govnt who can do this of course).

Hope things transpire peacfully. Any Ghadaafi supporters who fight are just dumb. If only NATO rescued Somalia all those years ago.

^Ngonge probably thinks we played well Thierry, did you guys get wet? There was a proper downpour during the game (great when playing though).

If only the league could be won on which manager is the best player

MashaAllah. It seems as though every year Somalis are in the top 3 or 4. Thanks for the link Femme.

It was a hollow victory. The 3 points are welcomed but the way we played lacked any creativity. Adam is out of his depth (Championship/lower PL player) and Carrol is just too one dimensional. Mereiles needs to start some games otherwise this lack of creativity will continue. We also need a right winger. Hendo is did well coming in and keeping things tight. Frimpingpong was just daft. I mean, how ****** can a player get? But thanks

Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, honoured the 10 winners of the 15th edition of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award. In a speech given on behalf of the organising committee, Ebrahim Mohammad Bu Melha, Chairman of the DIHQA’s organising committee, said that the award has had a profound effect on many people in the UAE and abroad for its works and activities. He said that this was made possible thanks to the continuous support of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. During the honouring ceremony, a video footage of last week’s honouring of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as DIHQA’s Islamic Personality of the Year was shown. The video included footage about the award’s establishment and achievements. The 10 winners of DIHQA’s 15th edition were Khalid Mohammad Salem Al Qandoos from Libya placed first, Edrees Saeed Eisa from Nigeria second, Abdullah Ahmad Muallem Husain from Somalia third, Ahmad Reda Mahmoud Al Qasrawi from Egypt fourth, Mohammad Adam from Niger fifth, Abdullah Hamad Salem Hamad Abu Shraideh from Qatar sixth, Saleh Ahmad from Cameroon seventh, Mo’ath Bin Ghazi Bin Murshed Al Tayeb from Saudi Arabia eighth, Mohammad Huraiz Shazwan Bin Mohammad Arfeen from Malaysia ninth, and Mohammad Al Ameen Ahmad Ali from Bangladesh tenth. Article continues below Shaikh Ahmad Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, also honoured organisations and departments sponsoring the award, as well as the Award’s panel of judges. In Sweden? Surprise, surprise

One of the Imams in a London mosque touched on this a few years (dadka kala qoran). Sadly, the chair of the mosque didn't agree with him highlighting the fact that this is common in our community. He was told to leave. A xalaal marriage means exactly that. The little money is sent home but waa bilaa barako.
