  1. JB, wa la kalahaa back home. Even the one who has nothing to do is alive and kicking early in the morning. Its good though. I miss the end of year couple of weeks off
  2. Wa alaykumasalaam Juxa. How many cake sessions in your hols then? JB, mid Jan baan joogaa meeshiinaa dhagaxyada badan.
  3. ^they do trying not to be noticed laakin when the car is moving side to side it becomes obvious. Bal warama. Are people still on their holidays?

It isn't a coincidence that the moderates are closer to home by geography of where they live than the chauvinists sitting in Oceania and US. The moderates are more connected to the goings at home, as they are nearer to it. Divide saxib divide. New tactic? When all is said and done, a case needs to be put forward/initiated by the unionists. A realistic case that doesn't play on the old adage of 'somalinimo' etc etc. So what are the advantages of a union A&T? Now, I don't want the somalinimo midnimo nonsense. I'm a man of finance. Show me numbers (economy) and tell me why union as opposed to separation would be better.
  5. JB, look what you've done Colleagues have been bringing me cakes and chocolates all day
  6. Having a cuppa as I type (with only 2 teaspoons of sugar)
  7. Walk along the Jumeirah Road or SZR in Dubai and you will see nose patches on women of all ages predominantly from Iran and Lebanon.
  8. A gallant effort A&T. Your proposals have their flaws and the whole thing in premature but at least your mind is in the right place. Somalia will have to extend it's hand to SL when things have settled in the south politically and security wise. We are approaching the 'last chance saloon' with regard to Somalia/SL. It all depends on peace and security prevailing in the south. I might be wrong of course.
  9. Nothing wrong with a 9 to 5 warya (I went to the UK a couple of times as well). The highlight was of course reinforcing my covenant with Allah by going on the journey of Hajj (and it is a journey). Something I have been meaning to do for a long time and will hopefully get to do again in my lifetime. Next year will be the year I break from being an employee to being an entrepreneur. God willing.
  10. An interesting year to say the least.
  11. ^Thats 2 quid less in the oyster card this week Ibti, has someone you work with sent you Islam related emails? I used to get the same.
  12. ^same here. Cold inside. Nice and warm outside. Ibti, It was probably shared by some sites/groups you're signed upto. Ngonge, was he going to use the money for khat by any chance?

    New to London

Urban, welcome back. So you made it out of Syria. London is weird and wonderful at the same time. You can walk from affluence to decay by just crossing a road. The morning and evening rush. The weekend events. Whenever I return nowadays I find myself out of step. Londoners are rushing whilst I'm strolling blocking people from getting to their trains Enjoy your new city (if you have a northern accent get rid of it )
  14. Thanks Alpha @ JB Alpha works in peculiar ways
  15. LoL Are there jobs in SL? Would be there in a flash. Will send it in the next 10 mins or so so check.
  16. ^a bit windy and dusty here I need a career break. Big time.
  17. Bilal Philips in Hargaisa? Good speaker. Talow JB ma soo dageestay? Afternoon all.
  18. A good start. I'm getting fed up with every department saying they need more funding though. How much does it cost to put a clear, well defined audit strategy in place? One man's time for a week and some printing paper!
  19. ^No. He is moving the goal posts with every post. What is good, bad and 'its up to you' is already forced on people. Khat should fall under bad.
  20. Moving the goals posts again? I didn't say the British government is telling us it's xaaraam. We all KNOW it's xaaraam (but culturally accept it). We should be telling ourselves that. Adigu, if the fact that it is xaaraam (for a very obvious reason) isn’t good enough for an outright ban what is? You don’t have a leg to stand. Wax fahan
  21. So he doesn't believe in God. Big deal. There were many before him and there will be many after him. Hardly heard of him before his death but why are some of us quick to state where he is headed?
