  1. I just completed watching the latest House episode which begs to be in my files. Weird? Totally. Can't go into details 'cause I'll be giving a lot of information away. Take a peek. Watch the full episode here: http://www.vureel.com/video/26731/house-S07E17

My dear sister, you come across as a highly intelligent individual who is teeming with bright ideas that could benefit not only the SOL members but our nation as a whole; therefore, I would advise you to distant yourself from the petty threads that hold no importance to you or anybody else and do justice to your gifted mind that the almighty blessed with you. Chimera & Somalina could do with a company as they both are our undisputed champions of the greater Somali cause. PS. I'm not lecturing you or anything...by god that's not my intention at all laakiin waxaan rabaa inaan maskaxdaada fiican ka faaiideysano Insha Allah and THANKS for your valuable time and WELCOME to SOL. Peace, Love & Unity. We do indeed belong to Allah and to Him we shall inshAllah return. I'm flattered with your post I guess? Though I see no place in politics here...wondering how that seeped in? Amusing wasn't my only choice of words there. Found this weird, true and freaky (like the Animal Planet show!). Perhaps I should've subtitled this thread, "My Weird, True, Amusing and Freaky Findings" so that it can settle right in with y'all. I wonder if a moderator can modify that? Notice how findings is plural? Means this is going to be a blog not just about that python but things I find...let's say... interesting...over a period of time. As much as I want to take in your waano, I feel that I don't have to edit myself to make others happy. I'm happy about myself and waxaan sameeyo. So far I've been nothing but courteous and cordial to members here though some were quick to accuse me of things. Some of'em are easily dented when you do not share the same political stance pero no es mi problema. Aniga, I'm random and randomness is what you're really going to get out of me. Oh and I am very outspoken. Best believe I'll be pushing some buttons. Alpha Blondy;705596 wrote: BOBBY, petty threads are all the range these days on sol! What's petty are your unwanted sour comments on this thread. If you very much feel that way, why don't you contribute to SOL and create threads you feel are important so you can quit calaacalin' in mine. I think that's a solution no? It's hitting me. Oh I see your location. Aaah the puzzle is coming together. I sense I struck a nerve with my unionist banters on the other thread you so happily classified as "rural romanticism" . Whatever the hell that means. Never knew those two words could be strung up together but hey, guess what? Vans could yet again give a rats tail about bitter people. Can't satisfy everyone here especially Somalis who nit pick and are never pleased with anything. Not happy? Wonder about in other threads that make you happy. I'm not holding a knife near your throat and/or forcing you to fiirso waxaan post-garayo. I'm sure you're an adult. Skedaddle on out. -------->
  3. Made my day lol. Animals are precious.
  4. Alpha Blondy;705581 wrote: you strike me as a narcissistic thats all. why would you name the thread after yourself? Narcissistic? Sheeko, sheeko. Sheeko xariiro. Wale you tickle my funny bone. Deary, listen well and listen carefully. I can strike you as waxad rabtid, I could give a rats tail BUT know that I'm not here to please qofna or create any magac or title for myself. Like I said in my introductory thread, I come as I am and you'll take just that. It's really not hard to figure why I named this blog after myself. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. Use your noodles . Now, let's not digress. Back to the topic at hand. My findings! Shall we?
  5. Alpha Blondy;705575 wrote: vans, are you trying to create a niche (cult personality) for yourself on SOL by posting strange, wacky and wonderful threads? Niche? Cult Personality? I'm not sure I'm following . What makes you ask that question?
  6. Python swallows baby in Okada A python swallows a baby in Okada, Edo state Article | March 22, 2011 - 11:35am | By Emmanuel Chidiogo A python, yesterday, swallowed a baby at Okada, Edo State. 7. How'd you know in aan ahay tree hugger lol. I loofe the earth and all that ka qaraabto. BTW, I honestly was not expecting an Islander looking man to appear in the video. Codkiisa is very misleading as far as the accent is concerned and apart from the saqajaan verses, it's really catchy. Reminds me of a local band (reppin' OB! *hint: shows what exactly OB is short for in the first few seconds of the video*) called Slightly Stoopid. This is my jam!
  8. I tend to over analyze things sometimes so do please ignore me if I sound a little off to you. Just having those habeens wink wink. As far as the title 'Dhiig Shiil' is concerned, ma is waydiseen whether or not in dhiig really la shiili karo? Is that even possible? This left me pondering caawo. I've got to put my Inspector Gadget kofi on and investigate this matter. I'll report back with any information .
  9. Ninyow aa? Ninka xage ka keente. Alla my eyes! Astaqfurullah. <----lowers her gaze. NO HOMO!
  10. ^Adiga horta I can tell you really did not follow directions in school. Soomaali ba lagugu yiri. Jamaican xagayd ka keente? I've had this song stuck in my head for a good week. Catchy don'tcha think?
  11. Juxa private message me their magacyo. I can sense kuwa ah but can't pinpoint kuwo . It'll be our little secret. I'll pay you in shushumo . Got it covered yarameen? Ar dadkaan! They're not putting this thread into good use as I intended for it. Sheesh!

Are you aware of the seriousness and severity of declaring a Muslim a kafir without providing sufficient evidence to his or her act of shirk or going against any of Allah's Uluhiyyahs? This is called takfeer if you're not aware. It is a very serious matter that should not be taken lightly and to show how serious this is, here are hadiths for your eyes to gander at. Volume 8, Book 73, Number 71: Narrated Abu Dhar: That he heard the Prophet saying, "If somebody accuses another of Fusuq (by calling him 'Fasiq' i.e. a wicked person) or accuses him of Kufr, such an accusation will revert to him (i.e. the accuser) if his companion (the accused) is innocent. " ( Sahih Bukhari) Sahih Muslim Book 001, Number 0116: It is reported on the authority of Ibn 'Umar that the Apostle (may peace and blessings be upon him) observed: When a man calls his brother an unbeliever, it returns (at least) to one of them. You need to quit nit picking from the deen and take matters wholly. I'm not sure what your intentions are but you need to think it through and ask Allah for forgiveness for the wrongs you've said against that Shaykh. This is unacceptable on so many levels. Despicable of you to say the very least.
  17. Way to digress! Y'all missing the God darn point of this thread which was and still is to post anything and everything about Somaliland. Capiche? Comprende? Muy beuno. Grazie.
  18. I don't mind trying it. I've had a lot more iffy dishes in the past.
  19. Give credit where credit is due. Dahabshiil is a success story in the Somali diaspora and has done more good than evil, not that I've ever seen or experienced any wrongs though there were problematic cases in the city I reside but it was not due to the business itself but the individual who was running the franchise.
