  1. My heart goes out to the people of Japan. I have a feeling Hawaii will be on high alert and will definitely set out tsunami alerts throughout the islands. I also have a feeling California, Washington and Oregan will set tsunami advisories. I'll keep my eyes open iA.
  2. Not to mention, we have a drive through market. I lived in this city for 20 some odd years and never have I noticed it until a few weeks ago. I ain't going to lie. We have two Starbucks shop near my house. One doesn't have a drive thru and the other does. The one without the drive thru is technically closer but I drive a few blocks down just so that I can drive thru and grab what I want. I say it's all about convenience. Imagine a drive thru Food4Less. Man that would be heavenly.
  3. Che, Boston has a great transportation system. Explains why you don't drive anymore. The Zack, no problemo. What area of the US are you from? Tuujiye do you have some kind of deal with Nissan? A Pathfinder, a Sentra and an Ultima? Juxa;701246 wrote: I have weaned myself off driving (mainly cause i keep crashing into things) . Your guys roads aren't as spacious as ours nooh. With your tiny roads you're bound to crash into objects on the road. Yurub cariri bey uu dhinteen.

  5. Our transportation systems here reek too. Though I do love taking the coaster and the trolley on my spare time. I've taken it upon myself to document these soaring prices. Here they are: Northern (coastal) Northeastern I'll visit Eastern counties as well as Southern inland and coastal counties.
  6. I'm looking to get me a Taco and personalize it.
  7. Dang, that truck is massive and I bet it eats up a lot of gas.
  8. Did I say that? 'Cause I don't remember ever saying that. Grasp the bigger picture .

Naxar Nugaaleed;700849 wrote: ^ what surprises me is how gullible these people are, there was a talk of the administration considering the use of oil reserves as if supply had anything the speculators responsible for souring gas prices. During the BP spill, there was a report that said that the United States had enough reserves to last the entire country for another 20 some odd years but they laid out a very strict rule to when those reserves can be used. "There is crisis in Libya" kulahaa.. crisis my rear end! First of all Libya provides only 2% of the US gas and second of all the uprising in Libya started just few weeks ago, the gas prices went up immediately.. LOL You're not alone. $66 dollars filled mine. They're taking advantage of all these revolutions happening around the world. Banking in while there's still time. I don't blame'em though. It's all business but hot dang, have mercy on my wallet! I don't get paid enough to be paying 60 plus on my tank a week.
  14. Republicans or Democrats wouldn't really give a rats tail even if the prices did hike up to those amounts. Most of the time, it affects the people who are not sitting in high places. I think the 1973 oil crisis should be a great example of what could possibly happen in a few years time. I was reading somewhere that the US produces 9 to 10 million barrels per day but consumes 20 to 21 barrels in a day. Now that is ridiculous!
  15. Do you feel it too? 'Cause I sure hell do. I honestly feel that the pump just raped my pocket. I find it ridiculous to be paying $4.21 a gallon and not have it being a premium. *Clenches pocket* Screw it. I'm pedaling my behind to school and I sure hell will introduce myself to the public transportation system while I am at it.
  16. Please do not associate this song with the TFG. You'd make Baxsan very disappointed.

You can't really erect pillars on an unstable foundation. The foundation has to be solid and firm. Neither group is that.

Amir Godane does not represent hargeysa or Somaliland he is one man there are pakistanis fighting alongside Alshabaab there are Americans fighting alongside Alshabaab. Does that Mean America is involved in Alshabaab to or pakistan is involved:D. Somaliland is not involved in Somalia's mess we do not support one group against the other. Besides Axmed Godanes troops consists mostly of Muslim arabs and Afghans they are called the( Muhajirins) You created this mess Duke you better fix it and tell faroole to support the TFG again instead of turning his back on the TFG when his clan cousin was refused the PM position . Your comment is so problematic on so many levels it's not even funny. I'm not going to address your comment in its entirety but I will focus on what struck me the most. First, the terms moderate and Islamist, among other favorite terms to define Muslims never sat well with me. Educator, writer and theorist Edward Said really summed it up well but I'm curious to know what your definitions of the two terms you used in your comment means to you or what you've heard to be defined as? Second, I'm assuming you're Somali. I found it quite interesting how you had to distance yourself from Somalia and its politics by using the pronoun your in what I have highlighted in red. Regardless of your political stance on Somalia/Somaliland, the fact of the matter is, Somalia's problems should also concern you. Sorry to hand it to you buddy but until Somaliland is internationally recognized [totally doubt it but assuming it will], Somalia is every bit YOUR country than it is ours .

  20. Let's not kid ourselves here. The Transitional Federal Government is nothing but a phony puppet government established in a neighboring country, outside of which the country they somehow want to take control of but have a difficult time controlling a 5 mile radius outside of the Presidential Palace let alone run an entire God forsaken country. Not to mention the fact that they're made up of criminals, warlords turned politicians over night and individuals who are not for the best interest of the people. I will definitely not allow myself to support such "government". This is not to say that I support the Al Shabaab. That I sure hell don't. You can't really encounter an evil with an evil and hope to get something right. Once I see a government of the people, by the people and most definitely for the people will I then support it full heartily without a doubt against any group who intends to harm the citizens of the country. And I pray to Allah that I live to see that day come iA.
  21. From your guys tone, I sense the majority of y'all believe I'm an imposter. I'm no fan of proving myself to others but one thing I can say to clear up the air is that I'm as fresh as an Einstein bagel . You can cook up conspiracies in your heads and feed your paranoia. Can't really control that. I am what I say I am and you take it at face value. Believe what you like and most importantly, enjoy yourselves! Toodles! P.S. 5 and Juxa, these images are for you. OH SNAP!
