If he wants another wife, by all means go ahead...Just leave everything we have along with my SADEXDEYDA...Don't let the door hit you on your way out...Istuug maleh...Laakiin wuxuu war jiraa maalinkey u soo dhigtaan waxaan isla soo tabcanay intaasoo sano...Everything is mine to keep... This reminded me of the song by Avant F/ Kelly Rowland - Separated "I don't know What you callin' for So don't you come Try-na kick down my door Everything is mine to keep Money, car, crib, my kid everything" I keep everything...If he wants to start a new life with a new wife, start new all together - no money, no car, no crib...
  3. Congrats Fartun... Having a child doesn't mean giving up EVERYTHING...You just have to PRIORITISE...I guess a parent has to decide when to have a child...Specially if you need to party...Partying is not everything...You grow out of the "partying phase" sometime in your life...Once you have a baby your outlook on life changes... As for me, my daughter is now a year and a half...Believe me that year and half has been nothing but joy...Seeing her smile means more to me than giving up "partying"... I know at first it is very overwhelming...But once you get the hang of it, it is well worth it... Once again, CONGRATS...and welcome to MOTHERHOOD...
  4. ahahaaaaaaa....ahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa...Hold on let me catch my breath...This should be on the JOKES section... On a serious note though, I don't know what I would've done if I'd been in his shoes...I could just picture her telling her friends what happened..."My husband pulled me over, and the mother-fer arrested me, the nerve on that bas****. Give me the nuber to a divorce lawyer"...lol

R U serious? Puhlease, tell me you're kidding...Party and borrowing money doesn't make someone your best friend...U say they got your "BAG", how - if you can't even tell them who u like... A best friend is someone who understands u, listens to u, care about ur feelings and happiness, there for u through good and bad times, cries with u, laughs with u, and willing to do anything to see u happy... Those are the qualities of a "best" friend...Wax alla waxaad u keento, they should accept it, no but or if... As for Mr. UGLY...As long as uu lixdiisa lixaad qabo, alhamdulilah...Besides, doesn't the qualities you said he has, make him a beautiful person...

  20. About a year ago, I ran in to an old friend of mine...We chatted for a while, and he told me he got married and the wifey is pregnant...So a congratulated him, and told all I know about parenthood...N'way, as we were walking, there was a Somali lady coming our way smiling...So I said to him, why is this lady smiling at us...He said "dee waa inanteydii"... So right there I said to him "Ooh Puhlease, not only can you not be her father, she looks older than you"...He started laughing hysterically...As she got closer to us, she started talking and said "Xageebaad ka baxday, sowkan is idhi waad luntay"... He introduced us, Heblaayo this is my friend Kool_Kat...Kool_Kat this is my wife!!! Talk about embarrassment... Note to Kool_Kat: in Waqooyi, INANTEYDA = MY WIFE, not my daughter...

    I Hate....!

Ok people, I went to a wedding last night...I got there around 1am, same time as the bride...Mind you, when we got the invitations, we were told that the banquet hall closes at 2am, so we should arrive early...Yeah right... N'way, I thing I am getting too old...The girls there were, literally, half naked...Most of them were wearing short halter top dresses ...And this was not a reception wedding, it was a DIRAC wedding...Although, the dresses were cute, they weren't appropriate for the occasion... I remember in my younger dayz, my mom wouldn't let me leave the house dressed like that...If I wore something short, and she thinks it is too short, she'll say "naa heedhe meeyay surwaalkaagii, walee adoo qaawan inaadan meel u cocaine, orodoo dhar gasho"... Girls cover up a bit...

Kool_Kat, weddings can be simple, I went to a friends wedding last year, she had 20, yes 20 guest only and the wedding finished at 9pm (before you ask she was somali and so was the guy) I loved, I think it is the best wedding I've ever been to!. so i guess it is possible Ghanima, where i live (Toronto), even the muxaadara ones, don't finish at 9pm...They start at 9... I, pesonally, don't start getting ready til 10 or 11pm...The earliest I ever went to a wedding was midnight...I arrive in style...lol

I just wish they would use wedding planners, and have a simple organised wedding Ghanima, we, Somalis, are far from simple...So why should we have simple weddings...There is nothing simple about having a wedding...
