Bill reminded him of the day years ago when they had first met. 'Do you ever wonder why I was carrying so many things home that day?' asked Bill. 'You see, I cleaned out my locker because I didn't want to leave a messfor anyone else. I had stored away some of my mother's sleeping pills and I was going home to commit suicide. But after we spent some time together talking laughing, I realized that if I had killed myself, I would have missed that time and so many others that might follow. I support 5 different teams in 4 countries? Naga daa dee ninyahow, I’ve only supported two teams in my life, Inter and Arsenal and yeah there are loads of other teams that I like watching and have a soft spot for but I wouldn’t call that supporting as their results has never had no bearings whatsoever on my mood unlike Arsenal and Inter's. For example between Liverpool V Utd, I will always be rooting for Liverpool, does that make me a Liverpool fan? Between Real V Barca I’ll always want Barca to triumph but I’m not a Barca fan and I’m praying for City to win the premier league this season so does that mean I’m a City fan? I hate anything and everything about AC Milan, Juve, Tottenham, Man Utd and Real with passion and their downfall gives me an absolute pleasure. By the way Inter drew with Palermo 4-4 at San Siro last night...combined with Arsenal's result you can imagine my mood last night...I almost beat up my wife when she insisted that I drink my customary glass of milk before bed...now that's what is called SUPPORTING. Yeah Drive was a good movie even though the level of brutality caught me completely off guard as you wouldn’t expect Ryan Gosling to portray such a cold blooded killer especially after watching him in Note Book. (Somebody dear to me from SOL has sent me the DVD and the book of that film…sweet) I also enjoyed watching War Horse, I thought it was another typical Spielberg masterpiece and very touching. My favourite scene was when ‘Joey’ hears Albert’s whistle after the head doctor suggested he should be put down as he wouldn’t recover from his wounds and the other favourite scene of mine was when the whole army decided to organize a fund raising for Albert so he could buy back Joey and the final scene with the old French man was nice as well. I've lived in many African countries and I've interacted with many different Africans from different African tribes and they've all taught me one thing, everybody is unique in their own special way whether Somali or not. There's nothing wrong in being proud of who you're but I pity the fool who thinks is superior to another just because of his nationality, race or tribe in the same way I pity these little boys running around with apparent self-hate and inferiority complex.
