If she did indeed kill herself, then may Allah SWT punish her with the punishment mentioned in the Qur'an and sunnah. If she was murdered, then may Allah SWT forgive her sins and grant her Jannah. Sorry, but I can't ask forgiveness for someone who has died doing something haraam. Doesn't matter if it's a Somali medical student or a suicide bomber doing "jihad". Suicide is clearly wrong and warrants a severe punishment, so how can I ask forgiveness for someone who commits such an act? Don't become blind just because she is a seemingly "innocent" Somali woman.

^^ Yeah, it would definitely be tough for the first few years, but once they're in school, it's OK. Then you'll have twice the amount of help around the house. One of them can do the dishes, the other one can clean up the florr and do the vaccuuming, while you just sit there and watch!!

Interesting fact: My wife knew Keynaan and his mother and brother and sister back in the early 90's when they lived in Dixon and they're from the same qabiil. So that means I'm one degree of separation from K'Naan!!

Born in Victoria, BC, Canada, and lived in military bases in Comox, BC, Cold Lake, Alberta, and Suffield, Alberta, and also lived in Brooks, Alberta, which is where I found Islam and married my wife. After that, the country life completely lost its appeal and I moved the family to Calgary, AB, which is where I have lived since 2003.
