Will Qab Generation Save Our Nation!

Recommended Posts

Hello SOLers,

Lately I have been thinking about our country. And our people in Somalie. It is very sad that the civil war is not ended yet, even after 19 years. I think the civil war will be over soon. And this puzzle will be solved by our young Somalis.

The Somalis who were born between 1985-1995 They are very bright, hardworking, trustworthy, intelligent successful young people. I call them the QAB GENERATION: Means that they were born just before or after the civil war started. They never knew peaceful Somalia or stable government. But because of their experience inside and outside the country they are capable to solve this problem peacefully.

There were only 13 Somali men (SYL) that stood up against Italian Colony in 1943, and said no more Gumeeysi.

SYL-GENERATION were born out desperation. And I think that right now Somalis are desperate for peace and stable government.

Think about Nelson Mondela, he fought against apartheid. He was arrested and put in jail for many years. after he Came out the jail, he became the first black president in South Africa.

Think about the Baby-boomers. This generation fought: Discrimination, humen rights and recessions in the 60 and 70s. They face their problems and won there fight.

Last but not least. This are two young Nomads that I am very proud of. And I want to thank them for job well done. They could be our future leaders.

Ayub Daud a Soccer player in Itely Juventus born in 1990

Abdisalam Ibrahim Caddaay a Soccer player in UK born in 1991

I am sure there are many other successful young Nomeds in your country or city. If you know their full name, their profession "They could be Doctors, Lowers, Sportman/women, professors ..." and their birthday is between 1985-1995 please post here. We need more positive role models.

My role model is Maryam Bint Imran.

Does that count or does it have to be a fellow Somali living in today’s world?

Young people can't do anything for Somalia. They are not equipped with the right information and skill to wade through the mud that is Somali politics. Go buy yourself a Ronaldo top, adeer.

Thanks dambarsame and Kool-Kat much apprediated.

Kool-Kat: Banooniga waa kanaa ee iga qabo.

I am saying this, Somalis that are born before 1985 are a little pit corrupted with Qabeel, Laaluush "Free Lunch" and Buufis. And simply for this reoson they are disqualified to be our leaders.

I don't like to Generalise. But it seems to me that some poeple here "in SOL" don't care about Somalia. All they do is bring the bad news. they are sppecialised for Coping and Pasting Horrific pictures of Somalis dying or getting heart daily.

JB, no a soccer player will not change Somalia. But don't underestimate Sportman/Women in general have a grat determination. They know how to set goals and achieve them in short period. They know how to motivate and get the job done

no matter what. So I guess we can learn something from them.

NGONGE, I am not ALSHABAB. You say young poeple can't do anything for Somalia. That is wronge statement. I think they can do better than what this poeple: Dowlada ku meel gaarka ah, Dowlada kale ee ku meel gaarka ah, Warlords, Dowlada ku meel gaarka ah, Alshabaab, xibul islaam and all the other Qab Qable did for the bast 19 years.

Somalia will change soon for the better. Thank you.
