Abiy Ahmed, the prime minister designate of Ethiopia is an imposter and liar.

In the dictionary, an imposter is described as " a person who practices deception under an assumed character, identity, or name".

Everything about this man is either a lie, half true or total opposite of what he claims. 

If you check the international media, the headline is ' Abiy Ahmed, the first Muslim prime minister of Ethiopia", second everyone will tell you that he is from the largest Ethiopian ethnic group of Oromo.

Well every thing that these headlines proclaim are false. Here are the facts about Mr. Ahmed:

1-He is not a Muslim. 

Since this fellow's name is Ahmed ,which is  the second name of our Prophet Muhammad SCW, everyone assumes that he must be a Muslim. His father is Muslim but was raised by his mother as protestant which has penetrated most of the western Oromia region which was mostly animist.

2- He is not even a traditional Ethiopian orthodox Christian. 

Pentecostal protestantism is a foreign religion in Ethiopia just as the Wahabi sect is foreign to Somalis.

3-He is not full blooded Oromo.His mother who raised him is originally an Ahmara who is raised in Gima, a city founded by the Ahmara.Some even say his mother is Tigray because he speaks Tigrai language as his mother tongue.

4- He is married to a Tigray woman which facilitated his rise in the army. His own biography is revised and changed in order to make him hero among Tigray front and the public. he is proclaimed among those who fought the Derg of Mengistu. The fact is he was 13 or 14 years old when the war against the Derg was raging in 1989/90, yet by the taking page from Somali alphabet movements where everyone claims to be a " MUjaahid" by fighting for his tribe, the Tigray are adding Mr. Ahmed among the list of their ranks . By the time he was in late twenties he was already lieutenant colonel in the Ethiopian army. No one rises that high without being the chosen son of the Tigray front.

5-He is more Tigray than the Oromo he claims. 

The Oromo are a mix of 40 million people from different regions of Ethiopia who do not share nothing other than Afan Oromo. Also, many regions were the Oromo speakers became majority has absorbed large minorities who hail from different ethnic groups. As stands today, everyone is claiming Oromo. Even Tigray members who live in these regions join their ranks of Oromo by infiltrating the Oromo political parties. One example is Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu, the foreign minister of Ethiopia. He changed his last name in 2016, and claimed to be Oromo. Now, everyone agrees that he is a Tigray imposter claiming Oromo. 

So, he is not a Muslim, Orthodox Christian or even Oromo. Personally , I care less which religion the prime minister belongs. What counts is if the new man is a reformist who is his own man. 

In these pages some of our eloquent writers had stated this fact while debating with the Tigray troll resident who who tells the enclave dwellers that everyone from Djibouti to Hargeisa and Jijiga must love the Tigray.

Exactly. THis importer must call an election as soon as possible and vacate the position to someone elected by the people. Political analysts and the real opposition are interested about the who the prime minister should be , but what the next prime minister will able to do. They believe that a prime minister controlled by the Tigray front men will not be able to achieve anything.

They say, "What will the next prime minister be able to do? It makes no difference if this time the prime minister is Oromo so long as Tigray Front member DebreTsion is deputy prime minister and in charge of telecom, finance/economy, security; Tigray Front member Abay Tsehaye is in charge of state affairs; Tigray Front member without portfolio Sebhat Nega is in charge of directing and chairing Tigray Front; Tigray Front Arkebe is in charge of Investments and foreign trade development; Tigray Front Bereket is in charge of banking; Tigray Front Berhane and Workneh are in charge of Foreign Affairs (the latter planted in Oromo party as Oromo having changed his legal name in 2016) and all key positions at Foreign Affairs is in the hands of Tigray Front members; Tigray Front members are in all key positions in the military and security intelligence. The question we need to be asking is, Will the next prime minister be able to form his cabinet irrespective of ethnic quotas simply on qualifications"

This impostor was groomed by the Tigray front for a long time. He was in charge of Ethiopian security agency coordinating with the Americans on the collection of data and other intelligence gathering operations. This agency was established after the invasion of somalia in 2006/07. By claiming to helping America on the war on terror this agency made hundred of millions to the Ethiopian political establishment. 

Anyway, this Abiy Ahmed guy will fit well within the bible belt of the southern united states where the republican party has it's biggest base. Folks, for the first time , Ethiopia have jocker who could claim for whatever faith or ethnicity he wishes, yet the most important question is ;Is he a reformer or a Tigray front stooges designed to buy some time for the soon departing Woyaane.

As we speak the Oromo might reject this imposter.

Time will tell.

I don't agree with the speed of his promotion issue. All other nationalities except Tigray do not follow the 4-5 year per step it takes. This was done to balance. It has reached now until colonels. Generals still is Tigray 40-50%.

Its unlikely his mother being Tigre and Pente. Highly unlikely. Maybe traditional protestant but Pente is most unlikely in Tigray. Amahara and Oromo have a lot.

It was the Oromo themselves who were singing praises.

Actually the accusation was that a site called Aigaforum (Tigray) had published very negative about him before the vote or SOE.

Politics is dirty game as they say.

 

The fact that an amhara or Tigray is in Oromo organization is in the Oromo constitution itself. He is resident of Oromia and he has right to elect and be elected in Oromia government.

I agree, elections are the best option for Ethiopia. In the mean time, let the Oromos bring a guy of their choosing, preferable a muslim, to lead the country freely. I don't support Lema Megrasu who orchestrated the ethnic violence against the Somalis. I am sure there are many other decent Oromos who can lead Ethiopia.

I think as Jawar said the other day, the Oromo need a rest. Too many things and an alliance they thought have been achieved with Amhara just broke down and acriminations have started.

I agree. Almost everyone I met said that Lema Magraase as radical and anti Somali. People said that he encouraged the Oromo police to target people.

 

The problem with Jawar Mohammed is, he is deeply connected with Amhara.

Personally, unless he is a Muslim, i can not accept the Ahmarized Oromo.

I am laughing at this piece of information that was hidden. Her face looks generally more Tigrean.

The funny thing is just a century ago in Ethiopia it was a must to have something Tigrean in life, or manufacture something Tigrean in you, your great great great grandmother to strive for power. Ancestry was crucial for legitmacy to "Solomonic line". Only someone from Tigray who may not even have Tigrean bloodline was authomatically "accepted". A lot of warlords and chiefs from all over married into Tigray.

Since faith was more important those days than now, and since Tigray has Axum, Negash and Jewish center too it all worked out as well.

Now is being used the same, but "among the heathen/commuist politicians".

Abadulla Gemeda (who they say original name is (Minase Habtegiorgis) Founder OPDO, defence minister, president of Oromo, now speaker.

Werqineh Gebeyehu (whose grandfathers name should be Weldekidan) Chief of federal police now foreign minister

Leencho Leta (whose name as admitted was (Yohannes qeleta) founder OLF, one of architects of federal and kilils then fall out with Meles, now ODF and wants to go back home.

But some of it was either not true or exagerated by Jawar.

Jawar hates this guy with a passion. Jawar wanted Lema, but Lema cannot be acceptable to the South, Somalis and Afar-Tigray. He tried to ease his way to the Amhara by talking about Ethiopianism being an addiction, but did not work for others.

Abiy campaigned just like American election. You tube is full how smart he is, how educated he is, how brave he is in military, how he established a security agency ...you name it.

Galbeedi was going with the wrong crowd. They might have been done by Tigray who appeared not liking the guy, but the overnight quick exchange done with Lema means they avoided Lema.

The Tigray come as winning since they threw in an Oromo every Oromo has now started to say good things, they prevented the Oromo that was not accepable to their allies and the allies can tolerate an Oromo that is more amenable and less support, etc

It is the Ahmara and the Tigray who are celebrating not the Oromo.

His Mother is Amhara/Tigray, married to Tigray woman; his first language is Amharic, second language Tigrinya, and Oromo his third language.

His is protestant with deep Amhara cultural ties. The fear of the TPLF of Amhara ethnic group is deep. The Amhara have been ruling for long time and the Tigray knows that they have to give way to the Ahmara elite sooner or later.

Despite their differences both of them fear the power of the Oromo, Somali, Afar, Sidamo, Gambela and others. 

The winners are both Amhara and Tigray.

The Amhara had gotten a man who is Amhra both culturally and linguistically. They believe by dethroning the Tigray , they might rise up again in the future.

The Tigray have brought a man raised and groomed by them. He might call himself Oromo, yet he is married to their daughter and with less than ten years in the army he was promoted colonel, faster than anyone in the history of Ethiopia.  They  later put  him in charge of security and communications. They got an Oromo clone who will carry the water for them.

The losers.

The Oromo deceived by their activists took their foot from the gas and decided to wait when they got a false signal from the Tigray by nominating a genuine Oromo. After they quited, an emergency decree came and decimated their ranks by shooting and arresting. Now, they got a false prophet who is more Amhara than Mengistu.

The Somalis, occupied and oppressed had no say about the election. During the selection, three man Abiy Ahmed, Shiferaw Shigute, and the TPLF strong man Debretsion were the the candidates. The job of Illey is to keep these people oppressed and  without voice. The Amhara and Oromia kilil can speak out and demonstrate, but the Somalis must be kept in line.

The so called Southern communities is a false region  that oppresses the real owners who are Sidamo and others. A small group of Amhra among them Hailemariam Desalegn , Shifrew and others dominate the politics of the region.

Finally, the TPLF had bought some time , but the new stooge should be pressured to call an election as soon as possible so the real reform and change desired by the oppressed Somalis, Oromo, Afar and others could be achieved.
