SomaliPhilosopher Posted February 2, 2014 Kenya must take lead in gifting ultimate solution to Somalia There comes a time when you’ve got to save your neighbour from himself. For, if you don’t, you might be damned with him. Methinks it’s time Kenya thought boldly – and compassionately – about the mess that’s Somalia. One of the options – bold and compassionate – of salvaging a seemingly irredeemable and terminally dysfunctional state is to move in and take it up.... http://www.standardmedia.co.ke/?articleID=2000103699&story_title=kenya-must-take-lead-in-gifting-ultimate-solution-to-somalia&pageNo=1 ---------- The Standard, one of the largest Kenyan news outlets, publishing an article advocating Somalia being annexed by Kenya, and split with Ethiopia. This is very telling of how far we've come...
galbeedi Posted February 2, 2014 There is an opportunity for the Kenyans to kick Somalia when it is down, but the fact is Kenya is fragile itself. In 2002 when they were rioting against Daniel A. Moi , he said " look at Somalia, they are in great distress but they are surviving so nfar, but if similar things happen here you will die like a cattle". Their President is called in the world criminal court almost every few months in the aftermath of 2008 election. Within two weeks more than one thousand people died with machetes. Koffi Anan and the world saved them from more bloodshed. They are the most corrupt country in the world yet they want to annex Southern Somalia. We need leaders who could see the pig picture and put Kenya and these others in their place.

Mooge Posted February 2, 2014 Cadale, stop the BS niyoow. anyone can write garbage on any Kenyan newspaper and that is freedom of thought. you opposed Jubbaland because your uncle Qoslaaye thought that since HAG doesn't have an organized federal state, giving D-block another influential state puts HAG survival in danger. it was purely clannish and dirty game. but alhamdulilah he failed. Kenyan troops will be replaced by SL and Ethiopian troops in Kismayo in the coming weeks. Jubbaland is now functioning state and can punish anyone who causes trouble. Ulusoow has a bigger problem on his plate now. With Bay/Bakool people wanting to create their giant federal state that includes parts of Banadir, qoslaye now has no choice but to support Jubbaland. his little banadir is threatened now. lol. galbeedi Posted February 2, 2014 I thought the Bay& Bakool guys are working on the formation of six federal states, including Jubada Hoose. There are people who believe that as soon as the Kenyan troops leave the land, the inter-river people and their allies will take over Jubba.
Homunculus Posted February 2, 2014 I remember reading a similar article from nationalist newspaper from India. They had harsher words to say about Somalis.
