A common Somali mistake ;)

The word xishood is a noun. You actually say Isku xishoo and not Isku xishood. A common mistake often made by those qurbaha ku raagay.

Besides that, this place is overflowing with topics of boring clan-politics these days and we need a break, ma is tidhi?

[in a wise angelic voice] you know somalee, politics should never be recycled nor over-discussed....you see, i'm an actual politician. i'm involved with the everyday mundane and boring realities of politicking. when i get home, i just want to LOOOOOOOOOL and be sarcastic in the most cynical ways and that's how most people have come to define me. i didn't choose politics but it chose me... i thought it was always meant for the wise,the opinionated,the passionate, the self-appointed and indeed those who entitle themselves 'man of the people' so to speak, so called politicians. although, i fit these descriptions perfectly, politics is always more alluring and has a fragrant whiff of the romantic about it, from afar, but when you're in the thick of it, its boring and lacks the sentimentalism of the politics section political commentators. i don't like to discuss politics with the boring old men who frequent that section. i do, however, laakin, read their every post with scrutiny, constantly applying their opinions, to the practical realities on the ground....real politik is a lot less interesting than the ''sexed-up'' political Viagra they feed the people. their views are based on projections, speculations, and political off the radar malayacni........if love politics, like i once did, don't waste valuable time and effort on regurgitating the 'wax la yidhi' nonsense but rather give your enegy to the people.......the people are what define politics, their mood and attitudes informs the politics of tomorrow. give the people what they want...they don't want much....they don't want to be reminded of the terrible state of Somalis and its forever cursed politics...they want something better...they want to be entertained.....one day, i will gleefully take my seat like the Oodweynes and Xiiny's of the politics section but right now....i'm fully involved in the political machinery and i don't want to be told half truths...when i have the full and unedited truths before me......bear that in mind, the next time you feel squeezed out...:D.........................................................you politician!..
