Yep,

Overlooking the Holy Haram Mosque and the Kaaba, the Makkah Hilton Hotel is set in the heart of Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Pray with views over the Holy Haram in two air-conditioned and carpeted 10, 000-seat prayer halls.

"Spoil yourself in this Art Deco-style suite with Kaaba or Holy Haram Mosque view, a living room, dining area and kitchenette. Relax watching the widescreen TV or re-energize in the luxury bathroom. Special touches include bathrobe, slippers, mineral water and flowers."

Wow, this view quite something. I thought one of the main aspects of Hajj was to have an equalizing experience -- where King and peasant were at the same level -- but I guess not according to the Sauds.

^^King and peasant as equals you say? - When you're there as i have recently, you can't miss these gleaming sky scrapers that dwarf the Ka’aba including that weird looking Royal clock Tower which offers $500/night luxury apartment rooms, whilst poor Muslims sleep tents few blocks away and it’s the one place on earth that all Muslims are supposed to be equal. I guess these Kings can run as they see fit, but only wished they create open space parks for families to rest.

^ The architecture looks so awkward as well. I mean Big Ben 2 (Royal Tower) looks out of place! Carabta have no sense really, and clearly what they are doing is not Islamic at all.

A shop, is a shop, is a shop, is a shop, is a shop, still just a shop, and shoes and bags shop, still just a shop, oh look a shop, a shop, must be the end of the world, no it is a shop, a shop, a bags and shoe shop.

Her personally life has nothing to do with her money and/ or business.

KSA is full of pimps, hoes and pot belly prostitution using men, underground gay networks and has one of the highest access to porn statistics- do you really want to get holier than thou over a shoe shop- you'd be better cutting the internet off from them instead.

You're right. I'm in no way against business however they way they go about it is a bit strange. What's preached (and condemned) isn't the same as what they practice. Plus they are the major exporters of Salafis/Salafism and "abhor" anything "western" so it's just surprising to find a Hilton in the holy land.

The Suad mentality is something else, divorced from Islam.

Lol what a useless thread. Since when is business haram in Makkah?. The idolaters lived and worked in Makkah during the

Lifetime of the Prophet(Pbuh). Provided they sale acceptable merchandise then it isnt an issue

You are wrong here sweetheart KSA don't get what you mentioned there and it is highly prohibited, maybe there are 0.001 % who do those things secretly, and the word sex is blocked from it's nets.

Not the city, saaxib. They're still equal in the xaram itself. King or pauper, they all have to do the tawaaf the same way. Wax fahma.

As for the rest of the article, stuff and nonsense really.

Again, people need to go and see the world. The world doesn't revolve around how you see it and what you percieve is right or wrong.

For your Cumrah you have a choice. 1 - 5 star hotels are your choice. If you want the Hilton with a Kac'ba view its entirely your choice and, guess what, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Hmmm.... it seems like most of u have missed the point. Ofcourse a busines owned by a gaalo person in Mecca isnt haraam, provided the employees r Muslim. The issue is wat the name Paris Hilton represents and conjures up in ones mind. I'd be fuming if I saw her store after having just circumumbulated the Ka'ba, cuz it would just kill my spiritual high. It's like opening a store named after Pamela Anderson right by the grand mosque. Ibtisam, ur point was irrelevent. Ofcourse loads of sins go on in the heart of Mecca itself, with prostitutes and gays and all sorts of other crazy stuff...but no prominent person from these communities have stores bearing their name in the holy quarters do they?
