Abdiweli Mohamed had no stance on Khaatumo. He made no stance on Jubbaland either, the difference was that he welcomed the intervention against Al-Shabaab. Abdiweli has shown himself to be a leader of all Somalis, a bit of slander from people who can't unite at a sub-clan level will not hurt his stance. If he was a bad person, the current president would not seek his advise.

 

If we have no credibility as Puntland, then you shouldn't be worried and others shall not seek our political assistance. Khaatumo today can't stand on its feet, it's in league with Somaliland, more and more politicians are abandoning the project in favour of the secessionists, just like we said from the beginning.

 

The opposition to Khaatumo was due to the fact that you told your followers that we are your cadows, we are the enemy even though Somaliland occupied your region, not Puntland. Then you attacked pro-Puntland troops in Tukaraq as well.

Mario don't you know that cabdi cawar was farooles agent in Mogadishu he could not support khatumo if he did he would go against farooles rules that was the reason why cabdi cawar didn't support khaatumo. Faroole claims the territories of the Khatumites and he would never tolerate a prime minister or president to directly meddle in affairs of what he calls his internal state affairs.

Should have read, "with the interference of a foreign government".

 

@Somalia, how can a PM be neutral about state formation when he is advocating the very thing...?![ Glad to see you didn't try to defend Faroole here]. As for the two, Dr Gaas has much more integrity than Faroole, and I hope he comes back and gets one of the two jobs in 4 years time.

I agree Oba is a big qabiilist in this forum and he also habours some degenerate views , he also seem to confuse the seat of Government with his clan's power structure, a view that PL seem to share. If we are not careful, the President of the Republic, who is suppose to speak for all Somalis, might be eventually be reduced to a "clan President"....and if that were to happen then it will be a tragedy.

Mogadishu can dictated what happens in Jubooyinka but ppl from Jubbas also have the right to form a state just like any other state . Lets form an inclusive administration as soon as possible and stop these nonsense !

 

There are certain people who are not happy about Jubbaland and taking advantage of these squabbles and we must not let this happen ......so let us focus people and do this!
