A large delegation from Puntland arrive in Istanbul

A large number of Puntland delegates including government officials, elders and business people led by Puntland’s president Abdurrahman Farole reached on Thursday Istanbul..

 

The delegates from Puntland have received a warm welcome from Turkish government and the Somali people who were in Turkey to participate Istanbul conference which is about to start today.

 

President Farole earlier said Puntland accepted to attend Istanbul conference after Turkish government promises correcting Istanbul Conference errors .

 

Mr. Farole also said, that his government along with Galmdug delegation would jointly participate the conference which officially scheduled to start on 31st May.

 

Puntland President and the members of his government will have talks with Turkish government on numerous issues on Turkish Somalia helping campaign.

 

Puntland would tell Turkey that Turkish humanitarian and infrastructure assistance has been confine to Mogadishu, while the rest of the country has not been glanced.

Fiqiyare, you stated earlier that Turkey's role was political motivated and accused Turkey of a number of issue. For example wanting to to impose a centralized state, obstructing the Road map, wanting to engage and compromise with a terrorist organisation of Al Shabaab, one sided spending of funds. What has changed on those points except for the Turks to send a plane to pick up elders?
