How about Shabaab not joining A/Y govt to avert Ethiopian invasion.

Or Shabaab not joining Sharif when he clearly agreed to abide by Islamic rule.

 

In my opinion it is more than a shame that shabaab remains the biggest threat to the stability of Somalia when they have been given chance after chance to be part of the solution to peace and progress in Somalia.

 

And they continue their mindless assassinations and latest victim is Dr. Ahmed in Bosaso eating their own ideological brother that already cost them significant defections.

 

Che you act as if you are more patriot than others but in reality you are worse because you are naive and misguided. Shabaab which you supported for so long are being exposed for what they are and even you realized too late that they are child wadaads who know only how to destroy and know nothing about re-building a war turn nation.

Peace Action....It's not matter of who's patriotic, it's matter of you guys going against history, a history that has proven foriegn intervention brings nothing but misery to Somalia. You could use AS as boogeyman but at the end, Ethios and their juniors partners will not bring you peace and certainly will not defeat AS not because AS is strong but because AS is Somali and will just melt away to fight another day while new factions that are beholden to Kenya and Ethiopia spring up undermining the very TFG you are supporting.

 

There's already contest over who will control Beled Weyne.

Che re-read my piece again, why do they fail to compromise for the benefit of the Somali people. You are also underestimating the anger of the average Farah and Xalimo against Shabaab. Mark my words, if the Woyanes or Kikuyu don't get them, the Somalis themselves will do the job.

^Woyanes and Kikuyes won't and can't get them. But if Somalis with credible leadership can sort AS, by all means. I just don't buy into the idea that Ethiopia and Kenya were coming to Somalia to liberate.

 

The sad thing is you have many on SOL who oppose AS but can not agree on how to get to rid off, they are rather support Pland, Azania, Galmudug, Ahlu Suna or what have you than fall behind the TFG and pledge their loyalty to the state. If AS is defeated, your undoing will be clan or regional loyalty.

Senior Che`, It is highly regrettable that even at this juncture of Somalia's politics while the dawnfall of the terror group Al-shaba/ Al-Qaida is being already underway , as an X , Al-Shabab -supporter, you play your wishfull card of redifining Al-shabab, painting them being a pure Somali organization with Somalia's instrest at heart.

Myseriously forgetting that this terror group aims getting rid of the nation and the United nations itself. by destroying Somalia's flag and Nationhood symbols.

 

The year has just began and if this platent lie of Al-shabab being a pure Somali armed political organization who has Somalia's intrest at heart, while it's opponents, namely, the TFG/ PUNTLAND/SOMALILAND and all the-to-be states are non-pure but somehow Somalis, is all the rationale that is there as to one's political vision of the year , it then follows or so i believe, that not only will you lose platform , but risk being taken as someone with slight intellectual deficiency, lest some decide to see the whole sham as a scream from a bleeding Shabab-supporter..

 

Even by the simplistic game of who is most Evil, YEY and Sharif own a slight but solid lead as to who is better for Somalia.

On the one hand we have alshabab who told the whole world that they fighting for osama and Al-qaida ,and that they dont care about Somalia.Then we have the rest who are only loyal to their clan.Its like being between a rock and hard place.

The problem is the so called TFG leaders change here and there but the system never changes and that's the reality whether it was the former TNG TFG 1 TFG 2. Somalia needs another approach a new solution obviously foreign intervention is not going to solve the problem Kenya is there Ethiopia is there Uganda is there burundi is there Djibouti is there.Since Alshabaab will come back as guerrilla fighters and take the war to another level, a new group needs to fill the vacuum not some unreliable Clan Militia or crazy grave worshipers.
