My sincere sympathies go out to Mr Farmaajo, for the poor way that he was treated at the end. He brought a fresh approach to managing the affairs of Transitional Somalia. The man trusted those around him way to much and took Sharif Ahmed way too seriously. Alas it was not the brutal attacks from Mahiga and UN. Or the rounds emptied into him by Faroole and others. The fatal blow came from where Farmaajo least expected it.

If Faroole supports this illegal and dangerous extension as seems to be the case. Then he has a problem on his hands. The majority of Somali’s will not accept that the real functioning part of this TFG be replaced. While the rotting, corrupt and greedy sections be left to get an extension. The problem is clear, the bloated Parliament, the incompetent Sharif Hotel and the illeteratate Sharif Xasan. The problem was never Farmaajo & his cabinet but those who they served. If Faroole and his admin agree to this extension, it will send a signal that he to is playing the same old tired game of get rich quickly and led the people die horribly while trying.

The Ugly

The two Shari’s, two hero’s of many who are now crying for senior Farmaajo, are today the ugliest Somali politicians left in the game. Sharif Sakin, a man with rudimentary education has enriched himself beyond his wildest imagination and wields a great deal of power through the use of his former and now returned tool Sharif Ahmed. This is the truth.

 

Sharif Ahmed, the former Shiekh, Mujahid, Amir, the great clan hope of many has proven beyond doubt why he is a failure. Sharif Ahmed is the first "President" to get rid of his ally, an asset and for that he secured a single year in “office”.

Now he is more than a lame duck, anyone he appoints must be vetted by Sharif Sakin, will also appoint 50% of the new cabinet. All the while Sharif Sakin has total power in the Parliament.

 

Its time for a real change.

There you go again, maybe the combination of the words General and Ugly somehow is conjuring up images of General Morgan pointing out in Hargaysa, "that girl is ugly". Poor XX, were you there at that time, maybe a waiter or handy man for the old General?

 

As for the topic. the fact remains, Mr Farmaajo is a good man who tried hard. He was stabed in the back by the very man he was defending. That’s ugly. Faroole if you can read was given the title bad. He is bad, but what Sharif did was beyond bad it was ugly.
