Video: Heroic Cushitic protestors in Borama

Recommended Posts

Polanyi

HARGEISA (bladlandpress) – At least 2 heroic Cushitic Somalis were wounded after the police shot live ammunition in the air to disperse crowds of heroic Cushitic demonstrators in Borama city in Awdal Region, the birthplace of Imam AHmad Gurey, rahihumullah. Hundreds of heroic Cushitic people gathered and demonstrated in front of the main police station in Borama. This protest came after unconfirmed news leaked out that the three innocent Cushitic drivers who transported the ONLF linked militia from the coast of Puppetland to the Ethiopian fake Colonial border are being transferred to brutal police authority in Ethiopia.

The Ethiopian and Somaliland government have a stooge-like military and security cooperation relationship. In previous incidents, the puppet government handed over innocent members of the Cushitic SOmali Community-who settle across the Horn of Africa . In 2008 Human Rights Watch rightly accused the Ethiopian soldiers of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity during a brutal occupation campaign in its Eastern Somali region. The Ethiopian army is notoriously known for indiscriminate violence against minority groups in Eastern parts of the country. The two puppet enclaves in Northern Somalia have increasingly came under scrutiny from halal Cushitic Somalis who oppose the selling of their Islamic-Cushitic brethren to SOmalia.

Thankful

The people are teetering on the brink of revolting against the unjust NW Somalia triangle administration. They were already upset at the unfair elections that favored one side add too that the unfair make up of the new government.

These are very powerful video's and I believe if the people's concerns are not addressed immediately things will only get worse.

^^ The protest was not about Elections or anything like that it was about local incident which occurred at mountains of south west awdal. Somaliland allows people to demonstrate

We know this area has been restless since the elections, there have been protests before this one. These current protests are part of a larger issue that the people have with the admin.

Whether NW Somalia allowed them to protest or not, their is nothing they can do. Just like they were helpless in stopping 300 men cross the area.

Ok, you can minimize it as much as you want, but this area has made it clear they are not happy with the government or it's policies regarding the ONLF. All these incidents will just continue to add up until, people become fed up.

The admin better act fast.

There is no difference between awdal or any other region of somaliland , they are very happy with the government if there are criminals with in a region of Somaliland that doesn’t mean the whole region is not happy come on don’t be so naïve. ONLF has nothing to do with awdal or any other region of Somaliland
