Of course there are some, but the numbers taliban is talking about is very doubtful. There aren't mass orhpanages run by christian missionaires in somaliland, puntland, and inside somalia. There where reports of some somali bantus converting through them. However, again the numbers where very small.

There are also some in the west, repesting myself again, the numbers are not that great. The last time i checked reer bakool where majority muslims............

^ Reer Bay and Bakool are not majority muslim but 99.99 percent muslim like the rest of Somalia. All I am saying is that through famines and problems come christian organizations through the guise of 'HELP'. The numbers are there trust me. Denying it is futiile. Trying to revert them through force is wrong. Even the prophet didn't revert the Yahuuds of Madina by force.

LOL. I'm sure many on this site would love to 'trust' you but they prefer to see these numbers instead. :D

^ So that's one. What about those converted when "through famines and problems come christian organizations through the guise of 'HELP'"? You know, the numbers you assured us are there. :D

Mr. Mariano was a Christian before the famines so he's irrelevant to your assertions.

I'll consider this your waving of the white flag.

^ The schizophrenic nature of US foreign policy is fairly well documented. While dropping bombs in one region, they drop crates of food in another only to return later and bomb that same region.

I'm grateful for the food they provide in aiding the poor but wish they'd stop serving them bombs from an AC-130 for dessert. :(

Me and white flag are like the SNM capturing Hargeisa in 1988 :D Total opposites. They didn't capture anything till well after Siad Barre was toppled.

How were the likes of Mariano and other Somali chrisitians Gaalified?

1) Orphaned

2) Adopted

and whatnot. He just didn't become gaal on his own free will. He was presumably taken by a Gaal family and given a gaal name and a gaal way of life.

This only happens when there are no parents. In bay and Bakool many kids were orphaned and many families starved in the early to mid ninties like no place else. Here is where the cadaan organizations pop in. They come with food and 'jesus glad tidings' and pooooof what happens? Some people in fact become gaal. That is how stuff like this happens.

With all your huffing and puffing, you've found a grand total of one person who's allegedly been a Christian for decades. Yet, you still sheepishly try to explain your statements away like this:

^ I am talking about the most famous Somali gaal. Somebody who you and most people would be familiar with. There are many in the west. I happen to know two families personally in my city who were Gaal before they came to the west. One lady reverted mashallah but her father died gaal.

There is even a website were gaal get together

http://somalichristians.org/

But you know that already.

Lol at Taako and Mariano! I was once told by a good aunt of me, that she and her fellow friends one day followed the funeral procession of Michel Mariono for clannish reasons!

Apparently a fellow clansman of her said that the odey has 'bakhti' and they should follow his dead coffin all the way to the roman church in central Mogadishu!

This was just before the civil war and she was saying that they just stood outside the church because they as muslims didn't want to enter it but apparently following the dead guy all the way to church was ok.

Anyhow she said it was really bad and that she made repentence to god for making that grave sin.

I was laughing all day wallahi that funny it was. She also told me it was a whole clan group that escorted him all the way to church but that they knew that they were following a gaal, really funny as some 'elder' told her not to miss this important 'event' hence her being there!
