Are you saying since the Jewish state would not pick up the phone, they have to call Iran, the most powerful Shia Muslim State on the planet earth? Yeh, I do understate there is a slight possibility for recognition if the secessionists promise Iranian president Dr Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that they will take steps to convert Hargeisa’s population to Shia discipline of Islam in a matter of months. There you get a double kill: recognition and petrodollars.

I absolutely agree that Xarago and the other secessionist sympathizers should hold their jubilation and celebration for the successful completion of their mass suicide till the time the receptionists at the desk of the South African Presidential Palace conscientiously decide to answer the calls that are coming from the finger –countable Hargeisa’a municipal councils to create their own city state. I hear a rumor that a phone company is set up in Hargeisa for only calling African head of states. I trust, you have seen the article titled “ A.U. Hargeisa is callingâ€.

Get me a couple of thousand American dollars and two beautiful Somali girls as couriers and I will make any “expert†in Somali Tragedy Industry to write up any report that is agreeable to your liking! Whatever you like to hear!!

Ha haybin ha haybin waxaadan heleeen

If the AU mission said such a thing that obviously contradicts with the position of the very entity they are representing, I think it is only fair that we see the report itself, would you not say madam Xarago?

I highly doubt any AU "mission" said such thing simply because the AU is one of the most bureaucratic political organizations around. Hardly a thing is said outside of chain of command especially concerning some of the most sensitive issues in sub-Saharan Africa: colonial legacy, present-day borders, and ethnic tensions. Things that can start war even now in Africa!

However, the report of the mission – which was appointed by former president of Mali and chairperson of the AU Commission, Alpha Oumar Konare – has been kept under wraps and is yet to be discussed by the AU executive council for possible adoption by the heads of state summit.

1. How did he find out about the report?

2. How did he get his hands on a report that has never, supposedly, left the Secretary-General's office?

3. How could the heads of states not request a report on a fact-finding mission they obviously were informed of beforehand? (All missions are publicized and secretariats are informed beforehand.)

Anyways the journalist is clearly biased and unrealiable. Not giving us the source the most important part of his article (the AU report) is clearly more then enough evidence. As for those whose day was brightened as a result of a man's opinion written on print, enjoy this one also.

Morning awoowe. Glad to hear our cyber exchanges help you regain your self-steem and self worth and make you feel good icon_razz.gif . As to me being carrier and vulnerable to all sort of deseases including the one which we don't speak of well what you jknow buddy the modern medicine do wonders for my ilk and I'm sure there is some sort of help out there. Speaking of age I kinda feel that you guys are somehow thinking that old age is a liability. Nothing farther from the truth. It is a blessing ;) .

Kidos awoowe you sound like one of those who equate indifference to and ignorance of the Somali plight and political events that have monumental consequences on the direction of the country will take to goodness in character. You also seem to think that taking a principle stand on the issues of national and historical significance (even on the net) is tantamount to sickness of sort. You are not alone. There are many beesaaniis out there who would rather talk about Pamela Anderson's behind and who shags who in the celebrity world than matters of larger concern such as whether Somalia should be dismembered or not.

FYI, since you sound as a newbie, this fadhi-ku-dirir on the net is very revealing about where folks especially those who call west their home got their news and how they feel about what's happening back home. Their opinions on the news events are negative and at times predictable. Their negative opinions are influenced by qabiil loyalty, historic perception, lack of unbiased and impartial news, past grievences, and what not. An anomoly Waxa-la-Yiri evenning program "Uncommon Knowledge" is determined to examine :D

Here in SOL we got Islamists, Nationalists, Separatists, Cheerleaders for charismatic and strong leaders. When individuals of these persuasions (Xed cheerleaders) engage in a discussion emotions take the driving seat and the room comes alive not to mention the fact that onlookers like you get excited, confused, or even scared.

Finally remember some deseases can indeed overwhelm tthe immune system so for you own good and safety cagaha wax ka day :D

Kaftan-dhable for the thin-skinned.

Wadh hedhe, what is the very entity they( AU) are representing which contradicts the consideration of looking into the genuine clam by Somaliland State. And if you are clever enough I would ask you to look into the case Ethiopia and Eriterea, did they at that time go against the 'very' entity they represent. Mise, you were not told about this before you made your post.

Huuno iska hadalka ma ficna, Quranki Garbaharey lagugu so akhriyana meshani kama shaqeyso..ee fadlan wax adan cilmi uu laheyn ha ka falanqon.

^ Huuno (forgive my misappropriation of your favorite term), quraankii Garbaharey la igu soo afkhriyey hadaad un mar maqlikarayd, cilmi yaraan madan igu sheegikarayn. In la'iska hadlo waa laga roon yahay, in aad ka hadashaa wax aadnaan cilmi u lahayne taasu kasii daran. Eritrea iyo Somaliland is ma barbar dhigikaraysid sa ismaba geeyaan. Af daboolan waa dahab, taani ka laabo cilmi yaraantaad sheegtay kugu laabataye.

Please go back to what I said, because I believe comprehension was a problem.

Huuno, in layska cantrabaqasheyo walaga fican yahey. My question to you young man was What Entity of theirs is the AU contradicting if it considers the genuine application of the Somaliland State ? You have not answered it yet.And am waiting.

My example of Eriterea to you, huuno, was to bring to your awareness( if you have that sense at all) had they gone against that entity when they granted recognition to Eriterea.

Basically walalo what am looking for you to specify is the the entity you mentioned, is that hard to answer?

Xarago,

I come to the conclusion that those creatures are a lack of basic comprehensive ability. Please don’t waste your energy.
