what my friend was implying is that countries are not simply recognised over night, it takes time. You have to develop your infrustructure, governmental institution, democratic, legal,policing etc institution then and only then can you be recognised on the other hand.

 

700 million dollar investment to expand the capacity of berbera to 10 fold is an achievement. compared with the muppets who are waiting on a company worth 10 million to find oil for them and give them oil.

Bro i am in support of anything that brings

progress to any somali. but to me it

seems that this project is more about

ethiopia strenghthening its grasp on somali's,rather than improving berbera. YOU DO KNOW THAT THIS 700 MILLION IS NOT GOING TO BERBERA, ONLY A SMALL FRACTION OF IT IS.

just know, anything in the interest of somalis, is NEVER in the interest of ethiopia. very naive and ignorant to cooperate with the very same gov't that facilitated the fall of somalia.DO

as far as recognition and politics of s-

land...if it isnt s-land's first political

priority to gain recognition, then is

somaliland just a big BLUFF or what?..on the

contrary, if somaliland is really seriouse

about getting recognized, then why does it

cooperate in such a big venture with ethiopia,

without setting any

conditions on recognition, while very well aware

of the fact that ethiopia's need is much greater

for this project than that of s-land. It seems

that s-land gov't doesnt have a set political

agenda. very contradicting.
