LOL...it's late for me. I joined the' I like shaving my head' community.

Kaligaa ma'aha. Shaving once or twice a toddobaad since late 2011. I actually like the smooth and cleanliness of a shaved head. But I guess it is not for everyone.

I thought you had a little timo when we met in mid 2011?

Mate,
A couple of of years ago, at Jazeera, I found myself at a luncheon (do not ask me how) with MPs, minsters, and security officers incl. Odawaa, and could not believe how young, inexperienced, and green they all seemed. Having spent days exploring the city, meeting locals, observing life for the ordinary citizens, I wanted to ask them questions, but realised quickly none were qualified, capable, privy to the needs of the people, nor had any clue or plan to help the nation cover. Do not get me wrong, there are many qualified, capable, and caring people in the country, but none are in government or public service positions. I am glad to see you have some confidence in the young General.

Someone posted this list recently of the military top brass, and it is as if it is a family affair.

I did. My hair started thinning in my early 20s. I fully gave up in my mid-30s and started shaving.

No surprise there, the man is just "what is the word", I'll let you fill it in ... I have been told the whole government is run by the following West End thespians:

  • Hasan Sh: el Presidente, Prime Minister, Foreign, Defense, and Explorer extraordinaire all in one,
  • Hinda Culusow (his niece): Advisor at large of all government affairs from the kitchen to the Treasury,
  • Shihaan Xasan Sh (his daughter): Foreign & Diplomatic czar,
  • Fiqi: Security & Interior czar,
  • Mahad Salad: Mukhabarat czar,
  • Macallimu: One man PR machine.

That is one Khadija Cosoble, a well-known fixture of the Metro D.C area, and the sole contractor, supplier, overlord of all Aid / grants to the nation, and overseer of almost everything from food for AMISOM(ATMIS) soldiers to Somali troops equipment to even microphones in the Parliament. She is the de facto governor of Xamar, has an army under her command, more influential than Hasan himself, and a government unto herself. The only patches beyond her sphere are Xalane and Bali Doogle secret bunkers, and even there, she is a frequent visitor to interface with foreign intel corps.

She will most likely be Somalia's first female president.

I think he was an Amhara fighter. The Ethiopians can be savages.

They forced my late father to move from our beloved villa in Hodan. He never left during the worst months of Cali Mahdi-Caydiid intra useless wars (Afarta Bilood War that made our xaafad to be called Bermuuda), but the atrocities of Xabashada was something that he had never seen in his life - he was in his mid 90s then - that forced him to leave.

They used to come to our home late at night or early mornings. Usually they ignored them and kept very quiet. One time they were about to break, he therefore opened and talked to them, that he is alone (the young relatives staying with him were hiding). He decided after their last coming that the young men can't be killed for his sake, so he made a decision to leave. However, they were shooting whoever was moving, day or night and were stationed a block away.

My brother had to call Sheekh Aaden Madoobe, who was speaker then. Aaden Madoobe wanted to send military vehicles that would have escorted him to Baydhabo. My old man refused, saying it is risky for kuwa afka duuban to go with military men and their SUV. He wanted Xabashada to open the path, so they can pass using their own private vehicle. They allowed him to pass. However militia cabdi bile still escorted them to Baydhabo, while still staying back.

It is Xabashi, not Soomaali wars from 1991-2007, that made him to move from his beloved villa in Muqdisho to Baydhabo then to Nayroobi in 2007. He was never planning to leave his own villa and had already 'marked' his own gravesite at home.

Ismaaciil Jimcaale Cosoble, one of the founders of USC (one of the intellectual and autocrate ones behind it before his passing in mid 1990) mey qaraabo yihiin taloow? Koleey waa isku tol. She looks like him as well.

Had Ismaaciil lived, Caydiid nor Cali Mahdi would had no chance whatsoever.

For all our sake, let us hope not. Her fiddles in the old ISRAAC group are said to have been drudgery for others, to say the least. I know of an old mate, who taught her, when she was specialising in Conflict Resolution at George Mason, and he considered her a vacuous prima donna, yet conniving in traversing corridors of power, even in D.C.

I have no idea as to her relations, but she is a wicked force to be reckoned with --- I had a driver whilst in Xamar, and even he was working for her. She recruited and corrupted so many young people, with penchant for young females.

In other words, she is the Amina Waris of Hargeysa, and ina Xayd in Jabouti all in a bundle.

Hang on though, there is no Foreign Minister, then who is nominating Ambassadors? Shihan Xasan Sh. or Hinda Culusow?

She is the sister of Xildhibaan Cabdiqaadir Cosoble one of the Mucaarads who along with many other oppositions HSM has bought out.

It seems that HSM will easily get the constitution passed, already Xasan Cali kheire party Hiigsi iyo Horumar is starting to collapse as iislow and cali xoosh have all joined President HSM.
