A dream of green and blue

Recommended Posts

Paragon

Soon or late if my feelings peak

Think not of it a traveller's joy

One can't hide such tears of joy,

Nor can one silence a soul's speak.

Purple and blue, yellow and green

Is for ever that pleasant dream,

In which I find you, sparkling

Like raindrop in the sun shining;

With an image beautiful in choice

Which if sighted, nomads rejoice...

and you I see in every woman's smile

Thus with delight in heart I smile,

knowing that In my heart you dwell

and so in thoughts, I wish you well

...After everything that is said..

...It boils down to me and you....

- Enjoy... ;)

Dawoco, I have been acting the Don Quixote of the moment. Been away, drifting between one dream to another. You can say my crimes weren't rationally intentional... some feelings make one lost in thought. So I guess forgiveness is due here smile.gif

"How can one hide, when the truth frees the soul?"

when I said,

..oh sleep harken to my plea and wish!

and let dreams come as they wish...

..Or let the night shelter mine sorrow..

...Or sing me lullaby till tommorrow..

Even then tis difficult to hide the truth that liberates the soul from that pain which defies discription...

So will it help if I reverse the question?

'How can truth free a soul from what it wants to hide?'

Jamaal and the rest i admire ya'll dephtness when it comes to poetry...nice shit

I'm just a man who gamble hearts,

I lied, cheated and steal,

Tried to be truthful to her

And managed to help her heal.

The strings had frayed before,

But they had managed to hold on.

Yet this time it was different,

She never wanted to come back.

It hurt to move on alone,

Still she picked up her feet

And tried to vanish from my sight,

From the hateful eyes that made her bleed.

the end.

Though the dark tomb thy broken body hides,

Still true, still manifest my love abides.

I sought thy dwelling, passionate for thee,

When Destiny had done its worst with me,

But it was desolate, though wast dead,

And ah, the bitter tears for thee I shed!

The meadows laughed for joy,

The clouds wept many a tear,

As when a lovesick boy

beholds his darling near

Such a sight one becomes enchanted.

SupaFly, nice piece!

Farah,

...."Still true, still manifest my love abides.

I sought thy dwelling, passionate for thee,

When Destiny had done its worst with me,"....

Hmm! what a commitment that is!

Dowoco....Sis, although I was not intent in complicating things, I can't help doing just that. I guess the saying 'the damage is done' renders true my situation.

""""So how does a soul go about denying a truth that is in mind?"""

Some people say, 'we're what we hide'. SO I guess though, sometimes, tis hard to deny some truths, we wish them hidden. In return, our efforts to hide is what end up becoming.

^^^ you're welcome, darling ;) . There is no-one who wouldn't like the poem. "Intresting thought bro...." Thank you!

"So if we are formed by those things we hide, what becomes of the theory that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree?"

You mean, chop off the old block? Like father, Like son? smile.gif Well, in terms of behaviour, habbits and mannerisms, we may not fall far from our parents, but, our unique experiances 'may' form our secrets, thence our identity.

"Or is it just another branch of the same tree?"

We are indeed 'just another branch of the same tree', though that may purely be only in relation to genetics. The branch may have resemblence to the tree but the branch isn't what the whole tree is. It's just one part of it and thus, differently and respectively, the tree becomes parent, while the branch the child'.

"That we, in way, are taught by our parents to be either open or private with our thoughts by watching how they contribute personal information...?"

Apart from parenthood, our mothers and fathers endeavour to instill in us good virtues. They also guide us through good and evil, while ensuring that we conceal our thoughts in a way preferable to them. A good example of this is how fathers talk to their sons through manly issues and mothers their daughtors. Parents always abide by social norms, so what they teach or instill in us is partly dictated by cultural pressure and religous belief. Have you realised how parents react when children say or do something out of line? "Shiish, ceeb nayaa or waryaa, isku xishoo!"

"So tell us bro, what truths do you seek to hide?"

I hide she whom I love. Its an undeniable truth that my love for her deeply exists, but, if it were to keep on existing, it must be hidden and become a pleasant secret. Remember I only hide things from others but not from her cos we share that secret. Its one of the truths I seek to hide. The more I hide the more enjoyable. smile.gif

A tale in which 'The world was kept blind'

The night's showl spread upon it to blind

The watchful, hate-filled accusing eyes,

While lover's souls took flights to skies,

Of heavenly gold and of the perfumed rose,

Opened with a delight as lovers did arose.

Two hearts and two eyes in secracy adoring

Each other's face with love's joy, glowing.

Knowing in a heart's depth the true loving,

Not found by many is in the blissful making

Sprouting out from hearts to dreamy view

Of freshness sweet, that renders all anew

;;;;Dawoco.... splendid poetry sis.... smile.gif

PS: The inevetable is surely a bliss! ;)

Larking A heart, A view's like Bird's

Flying but not dare land

The desired one caged by virtue,

Time befreinds him in sorrow.

Haunted by the sins of time,

The lad sits still in reminiscence

Should regret be it or suffer silently

One does not know what awaits!

:( ...speak UP

Faheema.

Yet he ruminates on her remarkable traits,

Perchance, awaits a well deserved treat,

If only he could tweak moments before peak,

He froze, unable to speak,

mesmorized like a prey before a snake,

Hoping, wishing, wanting to meet,

Feelings creak,

Passions quake,

Stammers on every word, only to discover,

Miracle is what he shall seek,

As silence endures,

He longs for a cure,

continue :D

'So how will this bemused man get away?'

The walker on waters, the sailer through wind

The flyer through skies, the hoverer up above

Such's the prowess of the hero of east and west

But you asked: will this bemused man get away?

That open land, of howling wolf, wind and fox

That open air, of fleeting owl, plane and breath

That is the kingdom of freedom in which i dwell

For what reason must I seek freedom if not traped?
